Chapter 502: Just want to say she is kept by Li Shengxiao
From childhood, she never cared about her affairs.

It was only when Rong Nanfeng suddenly ca back from outside that Jiang iqi allowed her to enter the house. However, she was only permitted to co inside because Jiang iqi admonished her to stay in her room and forbade her to go out, not wanting Nanfeng to see her condition.
After Rong Weiwei arrived, Jiang iqi cared even less about her.
In the Rong family, she was like an invisible existence—if it hadn’t been for the servants who still prepared a al for her, Jiang iqi probably wished she truly didn’t exist at all.
Such a person actually made an unprecedented move to ask her why she had a boyfriend and didn’t tell her.

Jiang iqi didn’t know what was going through Rong Yan’s mind, but, seeing Rong Yan’s attitude, she was very displeased and said, “What do you an? Are you accusing of not caring enough about you?”
“Think about it, how am I supposed to care for you? Over the years, you’ve done so many things to disappoint . Later, when I sent you abroad to study, you wouldn’t concentrate on your studies. You sneaked back into the country without telling . Even when I called you, not once did you answer properly. You either talked back or didn’t pick up the phone at all. Those who know know I’m your mother, those who don’t might think I’m so enemy to you.”
“Mom, don’t get angry. You’ve just been discharged from the hospital, and the doctor has told you to avoid any emotional agitation. How could you forget?” Rong Weiwei said, trying to calm her down.
Rong Yan looked at the deep mother-daughter bond before her, realizing that Weiwei’s ntion of the hospital was intended for her ears. She pursed her lips, her eyes reflecting a numbness born of habit, “I am dating Li Shengxiao, so what, Mrs. Rong ca all the way here just to ask about that?”
It couldn’t be that simple, could it?
Indeed.
Jiang iqi imdiately looked at her with intense gaze and said, “Is that what you call dating? Do you think that just because he says you’re his girlfriend in public, that makes you his girlfriend? How did you two start dating? Did Mr. Li ever formally discuss dating you, or did you not even talk about it at all, and it was only later at a banquet that he suddenly ntioned you were his companion?”
Rong Yan could tell Jiang iqi was asking whether Li Shengxiao had confused the aning of companion and girlfriend.
What she had intended to say at the banquet was that she was just his companion; it ca out as ‘girlfriend’ by mistake.

Rong Yan candidly tore through the pretense in her words, “Are you trying to say that I’m just being kept by Li Shengxiao, right?”
