Chapter 471: It Ended in Just Ten Minutes
Rong Yan had no idea that she had just missed Rong Weiwei, since Rong Weiwei had fled in a fluster, Rong Yan hadn’t even caught a glimpse of her.
She followed Gu Ming into the elevator.
With Gu Ming leading the way, Rong Yan passed through without any obstacles.
“Where’s Mr. Li?” As soon as they arrived, Gu Ming grabbed an assistant to inquire.
The assistant recognized him and imdiately replied, “Mr. Li is still in a eting.”
He sneaked a peek at the chin of Rong Yan, who was following by Gu Ming’s side, and with perceptiveness asked, “Assistant Gu, do you need to go in and ntion it to him?”
Gu Ming turned back to ask Rong Yan, “Miss Rong, shall we inform Mr. Li now?”
From his understanding of the BOSS, he knew the BOSS wouldn’t want Miss Rong to wait.
But whether to inform Mr. Li wasn’t his decision to make; it was up to Miss Rong!
Rong Yan blinked her eyes, checked the ti, and asked the assistant in a pleasant voice, “May I ask about how much longer the eting will be?”
“This…” The assistant showed a troubled expression and said to her, “I can’t give you a precise ti, but Mr. Li has another appointnt in the evening, so the eting should end before six o’clock.”
Rong Yan checked the ti again.
It was five o’clock in the afternoon.
There was still one hour left.
Gu Ming also checked his watch, concern in his voice as he said, “Miss Rong, it’s more than an hour away. Are you going to wait? Actually, if you don’t want to wait, you can let the president know. If he knows you’re here, he’ll definitely conclude the eting early.”
An hour or more of just waiting around would be too boring; he was worried Miss Rong wouldn’t be comfortable with it.
He himself didn’t mind at all.
He could wait for five or six hours without a problem.
The assistant, seeing the president’s right-hand man being so pleasant and respectful to a woman, couldn’t help but sneak several glances at Rong Yan.
However, with Rong Yan wearing a duckbill cap that covered most of her face, he could only see the woman’s gracefully shaped jaw and her full, naturally rosy lips. Plus, her voice sounded quite nice; it seed familiar to him, but he couldn’t quite place where he had heard it before.
Unaware of the assistant’s frequent glances, Rong Yan pondered for a mont then made a decision, “Never mind. I’ll just wait outside. It’s only an hour anyway. We brought a thermal flask, so the porridge shouldn’t cool down. Even if it does, it’s not a problem; the company should have a microwave oven, right?”
“Yes, we do, the microwave is in the coffee room. You can use it anyti.” Before Gu Ming had a chance to answer, his words were preempted.
Now that Rong Yan was sure there was a microwave available, she was even less concerned. She smiled and asked the assistant, “Where shall we wait?”
“Please follow .” The assistant led them to the eting room where Rong Weiwei and her group had previously been. The cold coffee that had been there was already cleared away.
“Please wait here for a mont. I’ll notify you as soon as Mr. Li’s eting is over.”
After leading them inside, the assistant inquired whether Rong Yan preferred coffee, tea, or juice, then enthusiastically prepared two cups to bring in.
Compared to the indifferent attitude shown to Rong Weiwei earlier, this was like night and day.
To wait for an hour, ah~
Rong Yan placed the thermal flask on the table and was considering how to pass the hour when the door of the eting room suddenly opened. The sa assistant who had brought the coffee ca in, smiling at her and saying, “Miss, Mr. Li is waiting for you in his office.”
“So soon?” Rong Yan checked the ti again; damn, only ten minutes had passed.
Wasn’t it supposed to take at least an hour to wrap up?
