In the study, Rong Yan saw his gaze still fixed on the laptop, so she walked over, went directly in front of him, and closed the notebook on the desk.
With a snap, silence filled the room.

Did he always consider himself to be an indestructible superhero? He didn’t wear his underwear on the outside normally, so why did he act as if he were a tireless machine when it ca to being resilient?
Those in the know were aware that he had taken a hard hit to the head yesterday, while those who didn’t, might have thought the bandage wrapped around the back of his head was so kind of trendy hairstyle.
Rong Yan firmly refused him, and then her tone softened, her voice thick with concern as she looked at him and said, “I know you’re very busy, and I’m not asking you to rest completely. But at the very least, try not to tire yourself out too much these two days; rest properly. Otherwise, I really, would feel very guilty.”
He was injured because of her, yet there was so little she could do for him!
That feeling, she didn’t know how to express it.
It simply didn’t feel good.
She bit her lower lip, her eyes clear and dark as she said, “Aside from feeling guilty, there’s another reason, as your girlfriend, I’m really worried about you. So, Li Shengxiao, at least for today, can you rest early, please?”
This was her way of acting spoiled.
