Rong Yan was feeling restless when suddenly, the door opened.

Li Shengxiao had changed out of his dayti clothes into a set of silver-gray satin ho wear. The simple ho outfit, ironed ticulously, clung to his well-built and statuesque figure, highlighting his exceptionally handso features. His long legs could rival those of a male model, commanding an imposing presence.

In his hand, he carried a glass of juice, the scarlet liquid housed within appearing to elevate in class simply by him holding it.

Li Shengxiao, holding the glass of juice, walked in from outside. Approaching her, he spoke in a husky voice, “Haven’t finished up yet?”

Rong Yan’s gaze quickly shifted away from the striking man and she covertly hid her phone, stamring, “It’s, it’s almost done. Aren’t you having a eting tonight?”

He typically had endless etings—in the car, the elevator, the study, the living room. He seed to always be in a eting, issuing commands with a headset glued to his ear.

But that was unavoidable. The Li Group was a massive conglorate worth hundreds of billions. As the sole master of this super-business empire, it would be strange if he weren’t busy!

She thought she had been sneaky enough hiding her phone, but the distinguished man noticed her slight movent right away. His gaze darkened a notch and he said, “I’m on a day off today.”

He’s actually taking a day off?! Rong Yan blinked her eyes, “So, you’re free all night?”

“Yes.”

In truth, he could be free every evening if she needed him to be!

A light bulb went off in Rong Yan’s head, and she ca up with a great idea, “Then how about we play so gas?” She had promised to spend the whole day with Duidui and as an adult, she believed in keeping her promises to a child, no matter what. Besides, tracking down the person causing trouble behind the scenes couldn’t be rushed.

“Gas? Which gas? The one you played last ti?”

Rong Yan shook her head, her lips curling into a smile, “Not that one. Duidui doesn’t know how to play it. I’m talking about a family-friendly video ga I bought.”

“Wait a minute.” She suddenly rummaged through her things, quickly finding the item from a storage box in the corner. Rong Yan rushed back with the box, pouting, “This is it! It includes family badminton, a ho version of Plants vs. Zombies, tanks and aircraft, dozens of gas.”

Li Shengxiao picked up one of the ga boxes and glanced over the introduction.

Rong Yan, seeing him looking at the software she bought, couldn’t wait to show off, “It’s all in English. They’re actually simple gas. I bought these abroad, played them a lot with Duidui. He knows how to play most of the gas! Then when I brought Duidui back, in fear of him getting bored, I brought these along as well.”

Her eyes shone whenever she ntioned Little Baby, her face bright as the sun. Watching her, the proud man felt his heart ignite, “Why didn’t you give it to him in the end?”

He rembered when his mother brought Little Baby to him, the child had nothing with him.

Rong Yan paused for a mont, then looked at him with her clear eyes, her lips curved into a smile, “Have you ever seen soone gift a child with video gas included?”

Her words sounded casual, but Li Shengxiao heard the helplessness in her tone. He could imagine how reluctant she must have felt when she had to bring the child to him because of Duidui’s illness.

Suddenly, a hand grasped her wrist. Rong Yan was stunned for a second, and before she knew it, she was cornered against a desk, her lower back pressing against the edge, “And have you ever seen soone send their child back, not show up themselves, and tie a decorative gift bow around the child’s wrist?”

“Cough cough!” Rong Yan choked on her saliva, struggling to speak against his intense gaze. Her throat felt as if it had been stuffed with cotton, leaving her utterly unable to retort!
