Chapter 1164: Chapter 1165: Turns out, it replied to Lin Zhiya’s alternate account
Lin Zhiya rubbed Little Bun’s head and spoke up for Little Bun, “My Duidui is really smart, I don’t even worry about him. Today I saw him playing on the computer ever since he got back, and I sneakily peeked at what he was doing. Guess what he was doing?”
Rong Yan, hearing her say this, had already guessed. Little Bun was most likely excelling as the chairperson of her fan club, organizing fans online and managing comnts.
It hadn’t been long since she posted her own statent online when fans sprouted up like bamboo after the rain, cohesively and effectively striking back at the trolls. Who else could have such an ability, if not for her Little Baby?
Though she had guessed, Rong Yan pretended not to know, “I can’t guess. Playing gas? What was he doing?”
Lin Zhiya proudly said, “Of course he wasn’t playing gas. He was defending you online, juggling several accounts at once. His typing speed left in awe.”
“…”
The little guy typed incredibly quickly; she had no idea how he’d beco so proficient given she never saw him glued to his phone all day long.
“I’ve never seen a child as smart as Duidui. Shengxiao was smart enough, but now I think Duidui is even smarter than Shengxiao was at his age!” Lin Zhiya giggled behind her hand, “Later on, I got him to set up an account for too, and we spent the afternoon at ho replying to nasty comnts about you. And then…”
Her eyes were full of warm amusent, “Then, to my surprise, I was so lucky that you even replied to .”
Rong Yan was stunned.
Face to face with her, Lin Zhiya grinned from ear to ear, while Rong Yan felt three black lines slide down her forehead.
She had only replied to two comnts, one was from a troll deliberately trying to sway public opinion against her. The other was from a fan she had chosen from the crowd because she had noticed that ID many tis. Almost instantly after she had issued her statent, like a warrior wherever soone badmouthed her, that ID was there vigorously defending her, combating the trolls’ comnts, and sending many encouraging ssages her way. After seeing it so many tis, she picked that familiar ID from a sea of comnts to respond to, never expecting it to be Lin Zhiya.
“Surprised, aren’t you? I didn’t expect you to pick either. Ha ha, it seems we’re on the sa wavelength,” Lin Zhiya winked at her playfully, always with a smile on her lips.
Rong Yan could tell she was deliberately trying to cheer her up. She let go of her worries, smiled faintly, and sincerely said, “Thank you, Mrs. Lin.”
Thanking her for always being by her side, silently supporting her, and providing the warmth of a mother.
Seeing the anxiety in her eyes had ebbed away considerably and her mood vastly improved, Lin Zhiya waved her hand in playful reproach, “What’s there to thank for? You’re my son’s girlfriend, the mother of my grandson, and the daughter-in-law I approve of; of course, I should speak up for you. Who else should I support if not my own family?”
Although she said this, she was still concerned about Rong Yan and comforted her, “Don’t worry about the stuff online. I’ll have a word with the dia to make sure they don’t publish nonsense. As for the rest, they’re just people from our daily lives that we don’t know, so don’t mind what they say. Duidui, Shengxiao, and I—we’re a family when we’re together. There’s no need to pay attention to the gossip of those who wouldn’t appear in our lives anyway.”
She had intended to say she’d also speak to the Rong Family, but upon reflection, considering that Rong Nanfeng and Jiang iqi had raised Rong Yan for more than a decade, and knowing Rong Yan’s character, as long as those people didn’t cross the line beyond redemption, she generally wouldn’t seek to completely cut them off.
