Chapter 45: Chapter fourty five:Blue bracelet
We stopped at a jewelry store and went inside. The manager seed to be expecting us because he was already waiting at the entrance. He guided us into a private room.

staring at it earlier.
He pulled out his card and paid.
"Thank you," I said once we got back into the car.

I stepped out of the car, but suddenly felt dizzy and grabbed the door for support.
"Are you okay?" Alexander asked, trying to get out of the car.

Once I regained my balance, I walked inside, my heart heavy.
If it had been Lilian standing here... would he still have left?
I went straight to my room.
What was I expecting from Alexander?
During the two years of our marriage, he had never truly cared for . Why should I expect anything now that his first love had returned?
