Jared's eyes widened in surprise as he heard Nicole's words from the recorder, and he looked at Kerr. But Kerr remained calm, as if what Nicole had said didn't matter to him at all.

"How are constructions of the Sea Heart Island progressing?"
Kerr glanced down at the docunts in his hand.
"The developnt is ongoing, and it will take so ti."
Jared stared at Kerr in confusion.
"Mr. Gu, do you believe the recording to be fake?"
"It's true. It is Nicole's voice. We need to speed up the construction of the Sea Heart Island, and strengthen security around Jay."
Kerr knew Nicole well. She must have her reasons. No wonder she suddenly ca to him. It seed that she had gradually begun to see him as soone she could depend on.
'Three days?' It seed that he would have to cherish the sweetness that Nicole gave him as there were only three days left.
A slight smile tugged at the corners of Kerr's mouth, confusing Jared. Instead of becoming vexed by what Nicole had said, Kerr seed almost happy, which was illogical.
But Jared didn't dare to question any further, so he had to resolve matters according to Kerr's orders.
Nicole didn't know where to go while she was driving the car. She couldn't reveal any of this matter to Avery or Baron. She couldn't bring the power of the Gu family down on them, and neither the Lin family nor the Fang family could oppose them.
