Surprised, Jared stared at Kerr.
"Do you have a problem with that?"
Kerr did not think there was anything wrong about gifting Nicole with Sea Heart Island. Only four people in the world knew about that place. It was the best way to safeguard Nicole and Jay.
"Of course not, Mr. Gu. My apologies. I'm going to fetch the docunts now."
Jared was about to turn around and leave when his phone rang. Seeing Ken's number on the screen, Jared imdiately handed the phone to Kerr.
"Mr. Gu, it's Mr. Qin."
Kerr reached for the phone and pressed the answer key.
"Kerr, we have a bit more complicated situation. The trapped workers have not been rescued, and there is little hope for survival. Worse, I don't know who has inford the dia.

Ken sat in his car and looked at the ssy crowd. The usual playful look in his eyes was gone and replaced with faint worry. The right that Kerr handed over to him was not in the na of the Gu Group.

Nicole would never forget that smile. Years later, when she leaned against Kerr to watch the sunset, she would still rember that smile.

After saying that, Kerr turned around and left the ward.
After Jared put the spare kit in the car and was about to sit in the driver's seat, he saw Kerr walk out of the hospital.

"You stay here and tend to Nicole, but rember not to let anyone from my family get close to her and Jay. I'll try to return before dawn. Call Harley if there's anything you need. There may be no signal on my phone when I go to the mountains."
