(Arata)

We spent a blissful weekend on the Isle of Dreams. Connecting with nature, with each other, sunbathing, swimming naked, and just lying around.

It was the most remarkable ti of my life, and I couldn’t be happier, but it was ti to return ho.

Wistfully, I stared at our villa before departing.

"You are sad," Karsten stated, bringing our conjoined hands closer to his lips and placing a kiss at the back of my hand.

"I don’t want to leave," I confided in him, placing my head on his thick shoulder.

"We will return after you have given birth. You have a doctor’s appointnt tomorrow. We can’t miss it."

He was right, we needed to get back to our lives. We had to set up our new ho, as well as the nursery for the baby.

The elders of Sparia had gifted us a villa. It was going to be our new ho.

Karsten’s private jet took us back to Sparia. My head felt dizzy again and by the ti we landed, I was throwing up.

Bless his heart, he remained by my side and helped clean up before we exited the plane.

"Morning sickness is a true bitch," I lanted, wiping my face with a tissue.

"We will get so lemon and mint tea soon." He slowly rubbed my back, easing .

"Welco! Back." Caysir greeted us cheerfully as we descended the stairs.

"Thank you! Caysir. How have you been?" I asked as he pulled open the door for so I could climb into the car.

"All well." He closed the door and Karsten buckled in.

By the ti we pulled outside the villa, so of my nausea had subsided and I was lost in the beauty of the house that had been gifted to us.

Two ard guards stood erect outside the black wrought iron gate. But my eyes swept past them to our house. It was a stunning log and stone-style structure crafted with natural wood and stone to blend seamlessly with its forested surroundings.

It featured a classic A-fra design with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that would allow natural light to flood the interior and provide views of the stretching green gardens outside.

The steep, dark-shingled roof and exposed timber beams gave it a rustic charm mingled with modern touches like glass-panelled walls and sharp architectural lines that offered a deep refinent.

A tall stone chimney at the centre and a cosy front porch frad by timber columns enhanced its warm, welcoming appeal.

I stepped out and observed the surrounding lush greenery, decorative rocks and flowering plants.

The front garden was bordered with large stones and colourful flowers, providing a serenity and a tranquil delight to the entrance.

"Beautiful! It’s so beautiful." My hands rested against my cheeks.

Karsten placed his large hand on the small of my back and guided forward with a smile.

"I knew you would like it. I had them use natural materials, including log walls and stone accents. It will anchor our ho to its environnt, making it ideal for us. Let’s see it from the inside."

The dark wooden door was opened by Caysir, and Karsten guided inside. I glanced all around to take in the beauty of our new place.

The interior featured an open living area with vaulted ceilings, wooden finishes, and cosy nooks illuminated by the soft glow of light yellow interior lighting.

The fireplace, constructed from red bricks and a rustic beam on top, decorated our living room. A red woollen rug snugly lay in front.

We moved ahead, taking in the rest of the place. A modern-style kitchen with a hint of traditional wooden cabinets and all the required appliances was nestled in the centre of our ho.

The place was entirely different from Karsten’s villa in Marica City.

"It’s so calming, so traditional." I turned towards Karsten and knew he could see my happiness on my face.

"I wished for sothing rustic, sothing less modern and more natural. Glad you approve of my choices. Co let’s see our room."

He guided forward towards our room which had a rustic red door. I loved the colour and carvings of rose vines on it.

Turning the knob, Karsten opened the door so we could enter our bedroom.

Warmth and earthy tranquillity welcod , defined by its embrace of natural wood.

Walls were clad in smooth pine planks while heavy, dark-stained beams stretched across the ceiling. The main space was occupied by a sturdy bed fra, draped in red linen and layered with chunky woollen pillows and a carmine-silver comforter. Oak nightstands and the sa styled dresser completed the look.

Softness balanced the wood’s inherent strength through organic textures. Burlap curtains filtered the sunlight, letting in a golden glow over the honey-toned wooden table and a woven jute rug underfoot.

My head lifted, and I observed the walls.

Forged iron lighting, like a blacksmith-crafted lantern with bulbs, provided a soft pool of light, complented by lamps with linen shades.

Fresh wildflowers in soft-hued glass jars and scented candles added the perfect aroma, while hints of wrought iron in mirror fras added to the grounded feel.

The air carried faint scents of cedar and pine, completing our sanctuary that felt tiless, deeply comforting, and intimately connected to us both.

"Our heaven," I emotionally comnted, my fingers sliding along the comforter as I perched myself on the bed.

Karsten sauntered over, taking his rightful place beside .

"Indeed and you can change any decoration you want. It’s yours to set up the way you see fit."

I turned to face my husband. "I like the way you have chosen to do it. But I want to set up the nursery with you. Will you help ?"

He encouragingly smiled at . His hand reached out to brush away a small lock of my hair. "Of course, that will be my greatest pleasure. Rest for today and tomorrow we will go shopping for the nursery."

His arm ca around my shoulder and I leaned into him, my cheek pressing into his muscles.

This was our sanctuary now, our ho, the one where we were going to raise our children.
