The sounds of explosions outside continued, and out of fear, she wanted to call Song Yichen, but her finger ultimately skipped past his na and landed on ‘Hu Sen’ and dialed.
The mont the call connected, the sound of heavy breathing could be heard from the other end. “Ah…Wanwan, wait for a bit, will be done soon, don’t hang up!”

Hu Sen didn’t give her a second glance and left the room, asking his underling to drive while he got into the back seat.
Lin Xiangwan, still tightly clutching her blanket, heard his voice on the phone and knew he was on his way, so she felt a little less afraid. “What should we talk about, I don’t know what to talk about!”
Hu Sen looked out at the trees racing past the car window, smirked and suggested. “Talk about Song Yichen in your family, how have you guys been doing recently?”
“There’s no chance for us!” A bitter taste rushed to Lin Xiangwan’s throat, sour and achingly painful.
“Are you really certain it’s impossible? Could you give up on him?”
“I can!” Lin Xiangwan imdiately replied, as if making a promise to soone else, but more so making a promise to herself.
“Alright, if you can really forget him, then date , I will marry you!” Hu Sen nonchalantly suggested.
“Marry you? I would only do that if I go crazy!” Lin Xiangwan said without the slightest interest.
“Hey, co on, why is marrying the sa as going crazy?” Hu Sen sat up straight, questioning her defensively. “I’m not bad looking, and I’m rich, which part of isn’t worthy of your marriage?”
Lin Xiangwan sniffled. “You’re great in all aspects, it’s who’s not good enough for you, okay?”
Hu Sen showed imnse magnanimity. “It doesn’t matter, as long as I don’t mind!”
“One mont you’re fooling around with a woman, the next you want to marry you?” Lin Xiangwan scoffed. “I have no interest in a trashy man like you!”
Hu Sen frowned. “Co on, can you be reasonable? You’re not my girlfriend now, so naturally I have the right to sleep with other won. You don’t expect to sleep with other n, do you?”
“Sleep with whover you want, be it a man or a woman or a dog or a cat, I couldn’t care less!”

“Bang…” At that mont, the front door of Lin Xiangwan’s house was swung open, and after entering, the person forcefully slamd the door shut again.
The loud sound of firecrackers outside drowned out all other sounds.
“Hey, Hu Sen, Hu Sen…you said you would keep talking to , liar, liar…” Without his voice, Lin Xiangwan fell into fear once again.
Hu Sen tiptoed to her from behind and hugged her from the back.
With her back against him, she scread in fright. “Ah…let go, otherwise my brother will kill you!”
“Heh heh…a brother? Do you have a brother who would try so hard for you?”
A joyful and mischievous voice sounded near Lin Xiangwan’s ear. Suddenly, all her fear disappeared. She excitedly turned around. “Hu Sen, you villain!”

“I asked Xiaolong to keep an eye on it, don’t worry. If your house does get knocked down, I’ll get you a new one!” As Hu Sen reassured her, he pulled Lin Xiangwan out with him.
Once outside, the scent of gunpowder was indeed everywhere. Lin Xiangwan covered her mouth and quickly ran to Hu Sen’s Lamborghini!
Hu Sen got in the car and stared at Lin Xiangwan, asking analytically, “Being able to think of in a crisis and wanting to co to your rescue, does it an that subconsciously, you still love ?”

“Hey, co on, really, give a peck, as a way of thanking . That should be fair, right?”
“Your face is too dirty, who knows how many won have kissed it!”
“I can clean it with disinfectant!” He then took out a bottle of hand sanitizer and wiped his face clean.
