The sound of lava bubbling and the acrid sll of sulfur lingered as Akira and Dante walked side by side through the ruins of Hell. Despite the hostile environnt, their conversation was casual, though laced with underlying tension. Akira, her massive sword resting on her shoulder, led the way with firm and deliberate steps.

Dante, always with his trademark cocky grin, followed effortlessly, hands in his pockets and his eyes scanning their surroundings with curiosity.

"So, Akira," Dante began, breaking the silence. "I still don't get why you decided to side with old Lucifer during that invasion. Always felt… out of character for you."

Akira didn't break stride but cast him a sidelong glance, an ironic smirk curling her lips. "Lucifer promised strong opponents," she replied simply, her tone nonchalant.

Dante let out a short laugh. "And did you find what you were looking for?"

Akira shrugged, as if the answer were obvious. "Not exactly." She stopped for a mont, tilting her head as she looked at him. "To be honest, it was a complete disappointnt. I thought I'd finally get the fight I wanted, but you…" She narrowed her eyes, almost scolding him. "You chose to save so won instead of facing ."

Dante chuckled, clearly amused by the mory. "Ah, so that's what's still bothering you? Not my fault you sided with the wrong guy."

"It doesn't bother ," Akira quickly countered, her crimson eyes glowing with intensity. "It just surprised . You had the potential to be my ultimate opponent. But instead…" She shook her head as if still in disbelief. "You ran away. A predictable choice."

Dante stopped walking for a mont, his grin fading slightly. "Predictable, huh?" He crossed his arms, studying her for a beat before stepping closer. "Let explain sothing, Akira. That day wasn't about you or the fight. It was about sothing much bigger. Saving Sara and Lyrianna was more important than indulging your desire for a duel."

Akira raised an eyebrow, her smirk returning. "Pretty excuses. But in the end, you ran."

Dante let out a short laugh, shaking his head. "Call it what you want, but I'm here now. And so are you. So maybe, just maybe, fate's giving us a second chance."

She stopped walking and turned to face him. "A second chance, huh?" Akira stepped closer, her imposing height montarily overshadowing Dante, though he stood his ground. "I just hope this ti you don't run."

Dante's grin widened as he leaned forward, their faces inches apart. "Run? Not this ti. Just make sure you're ready, Akira. Because when it happens, there won't be any excuses."

Akira laughed, a deep, resonant sound filled with anticipation. "We'll see, Dante. We'll see."

She resud walking, leading him toward the heart of Hell… until—

Akira stopped abruptly, slamming the tip of her massive sword into the ground with a firm motion, as if creating a barricade. Dante, trailing just behind her, raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued.

"What now?" he asked, crossing his arms, curiosity evident in his tone.

Akira turned to him, a mischievous smile lighting up her face. She raised her hand, showing three fingers. "Pay attention, Dante. This is going to be fun."

Without further explanation, she lowered the first finger. Imdiately, a faint tremor rippled through the ground. Dante felt the rocks beneath his feet vibrate but remained still, watching closely.

"Okay… that's new," he murmured, but Akira didn't respond.

She lowered the second finger. The tremor intensified, cracks forming in the ground around them as small chunks of rock crumbled from nearby ruins.

Dante narrowed his eyes. "Akira, if this is another one of your stupid surprises—"

Before he could finish, Akira lowered the third finger. "Now!" she shouted with enthusiasm, leaping back with impressive agility.

The instant her feet left the ground, a massive hole opened where she had stood. The sound of crumbling rock echoed as a colossal creature erged from the depths. It was a monstrous demon worm, its body covered in a black, bony carapace, with rows of razor-sharp teeth spinning within a circular mouth. The putrid stench it emitted was suffocating, and its glowing crimson eyes were filled with blind rage.

"Seriously, Akira? A giant worm?" Dante exclaid, taking a step back, though his sarcastic grin showed he was more excited than worried.

Akira landed gracefully several ters ahead, laughing. "You should thank . I figured you might want to warm up before the big journey."

The worm let out a deafening roar, lowering its massive head as it lunged toward Dante. He gripped his spear tightly, his eyes gleaming with excitent.

"Akira," he said without taking his eyes off the creature, "next ti you want to test my patience, pick sothing more impressive."

Akira crossed her arms, watching from a distance with an amused smile. "Just shut up and kill it already. Or are you going to need my help too?"

Dante chuckled. "Watch and learn, giant."

Spinning the spear in his hands, his grin twisted into a feral snarl. "Alright, ugly worm. Let's end this." He charged forward in a blur, his speed leaving a streak of energy in the air.

The worm roared and struck, its massive mouth opening wide to swallow Dante whole. Its spinning rows of teeth looked like a monstrous saw, ready to shred anything in its path. But Dante was no easy prey. He ca down like a teor, landing on the creature's side with an impact so powerful that cracks spread across its tough carapace.

"Is that all you've got? You'll need more than this!" Dante shouted, driving his spear deep into the creature's side. A black, viscous liquid burst from the wound, and the worm howled, thrashing violently.

Dante held on tight, using the spear as an anchor as he climbed up the creature's body. "Let's crack you open like a rotten fruit!" he roared, ripping the spear free and slicing in a wide arc, leaving a man-sized gash in its side.

In desperation, the worm flailed wildly, smashing against walls and the ground, trying to dislodge Dante. But he only laughed, clinging tighter. "Done already? I'm just getting started!"

Climbing to the creature's head, Dante channeled his energy, the power of the souls he'd consud coursing through him. "Ti for the grand finale, worm." His spear blazed with an intense crimson light, the energy compressed to the point of almost bursting.

With a mighty leap, Dante drove the spear straight into the top of the creature's head. The impact was catastrophic. The unleashed energy exploded within the worm, ripping through its body like an infernal lightning strike. The monster thrashed frantically, but it was too late.

"Let's give you a fitting end." Dante twisted the spear, and the worm literally detonated from the inside out, its remains scattering across the arena. Fragnts of its carapace and black blood flew in every direction, coating Dante from head to toe. Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire

He landed elegantly, tapping the spear on the ground to shake off the excess gore. "What a waste of ti," he muttered, glancing at the grotesque, smoldering corpse behind him.

Akira, who had been watching from a safe distance, started clapping slowly, her smirk widening. "Very dramatic, Dante. But I'll admit, you're efficient. Brutal, but efficient."

"Do you want to be next?" Dante teased, pointing the blood-dripping spear at her.

Akira laughed heartily. "Not today, Dante. You still need to get to the heart of Hell. But who knows? Maybe later."

Dante shrugged, wiping the sli off his face with the back of his hand. "Fine. Let's get out of here before another giant worm decides to show up."

"Warm up?" Dante rolled his neck, rotating his shoulders as if preparing himself. "I'd call this a distraction. But fine. Let's see what this thing is made of."

[Location: Unknown]

Morgana walked silently through the crystal hall, her boots echoing softly against the smooth floor. The chamber shimred with an eerie purple light, and at its center, a portal swirled with unstable energy, sealed by magic only she could command.

"It's ti," she murmured, raising her hands and weaving complex symbols in the air. The portal roared in response, its edges trembling as if the fabric of reality itself were being forced open. "Mother, I hope your part of this plan doesn't disappoint ."

The portal finally gave way, revealing a distorted dinsion. The sky was an endless abyss, and the ground resembled shattered mirrors, reflecting fragnted and disjointed images. Morgana stepped forward, feeling the dense, corrosive energy surrounding her.

At the center of this strange plane was the spear. "Lamia," she whispered, her gaze fixed on the weapon. The spear floated within a glass capsule, its appearance both majestic and nacing. The shaft was made of polished black tal, inlaid with glowing runes, while its twin-edged blade seed to pulse with a living energy, almost organic in nature.

Morgana extended her hand, feeling the magical resistance pushing against her touch. "You won't reject . I'm the one who created you," she said, her voice laced with authority. Using Alice's magic as a catalyst, she traced one final rune in the air, breaking the protective seal around the spear.

When Lamia finally fell into her grasp, a surge of power coursed through her body. The weapon's energy was chaotic and untad, but Morgana smiled. "You're alive, Lamia… just as we planned."

With an elegant spin, she tested the weapon's weight, feeling its imnse power. "Let's stir up a little chaos, my dear."

She turned on her heel and stepped back through the portal, ready for the next move in her strategy.
