Chapter 22: Second Beautiful Vampire Wife.

"W-why are you performing the wedding ritual?!"

Her reaction was instantaneous. The woman who, just seconds before, seed broken and weak like a body about to collapse, suddenly regained enough energy to straighten up slightly. Even thin, almost too fragile, there was a fierce intensity in her eyes now.

Victor blinked once, confused by the sudden outburst.

"Hm?" He tilted his head slightly. "I literally just said we’re getting married." He said it with the irritating nonchalance of soone comnting on sothing simple, like deciding what to eat for dinner.

"H-Hey, don’t take that kind of—" She couldn’t finish.

Victor simply raised his arm and, without hesitation, slid his claws across his wrist. A trickle of blood appeared imdiately.

The sll filled the air... As soon as the aroma of RH Null hit his nostrils, the effect was instantaneous.

Her nostrils flared almost violently, as if her entire body had reacted before her mind could even comprehend what was happening.

Her eyes widened... Her mouth slowly opened... Her fangs appeared...

"..." Victor realized the exact mont it happened.

For a second, she just stood there.

Her body trembling... Her breathing heavy... A trickle of saliva began to escape from the corner of her mouth as she stared fixedly at the blood.

Victor raised a half-smiling eyebrow: "What is it?" he said casually. "Well, since you don’t—"

"GIVE IT TO !" The scream exploded in the darkness.

Victor took a small step back, genuinely surprised.

The woman practically lunged forward a few inches, her eyes now completely consud by an almost desperate hunger; she only didn’t jump on him because the handcuffs were still too heavy for her to drag.

"PLEASE!" she begged, her voice faltering between rapid breaths. "GIVE IT TO ! GIVE

THAT DELICIOUS THING!"

Her eyes were fixed on the blood as her saliva almost dripped from her mouth; she couldn’t take her eyes off his blood, that dark crimson that slled like the most delicious dish in the world.

"Wow... what a sudden change." Victor said smiling, teasing her as he brought his arm closer to her mouth. As if he were training a puppy.

"Do you want it?" He asked, shaking his arm like a bone.

"Yes. Please." She begged again.

Victor smiled and removed his arm, then looked at her. "Answer my questions, and I’ll give you a perfect feast." He said.

She nodded quickly, "Ask anything!" she said excitedly, completely ignoring her deplorable state.

"What’s your na?" He asked.

"Scarlett Valentine." She answered like a puppy.

"Scarlett... where did I hear that..." Victor said, searching his mory of a past life... He searched thoroughly until he rembered sothing...

"Oh, the troublemaker." He said calmly, smiling. "I know who you are!" He said happily, "800 years ago, you were captured because you started causing a series of gigantic problems in the world." He said calmly.

"Scarlett Valentine, called Arrogant, Provocative, Sarcastic, and Troublemaker."

Victor rembered a story his mother told him, dating back 800 years when a vampire escaped the control of the Valentines and beca an agent of Chaos... Not because of war... but because of boredom.

She manipulated kings, nobles, and monsters like pieces in a cruel ga. Kingdoms fell, alliances broke, and entire cities beca banquets or sothing like that.

Eventually, the Vampire King himself had to stop her.

"All this? What an exaggeration... I was just a woman fed up with life." She said after hearing the story, "Actually, I didn’t destroy anything, I just played with the kings using hypnotic spells." She shrugged.

She seed happy to rember those things, "Wow... the old days were so great... my bright red hair, my sword, my madness... It’s a sha that old son of a bitch sealed

away and drained my powers." she said, shrugging.

"I hope that when I get out... they’ll still be alive to regret it." She murmured softly.

Victor looked at her, "Well, I already revived Carmilla, giving you blood isn’t a big deal." He said calmly and approached.

"W-what?" She stamred before he put his arm over her mouth, "Quiet, drink it all." he said.

Then, as if a primal instinct had been triggered, her body reacted swiftly and she sank her fangs into his arm quickly, ignoring what he had just said.

"Urght!" He groaned in pain, unlike Carmilla who had only swallowed without sucking, Scarlett was sucking everything in.

A harrowing sound escaped his throat—a rough, painful, hungry noise.

Unlike Carmilla, when the blood flowed in thick rivers, she didn’t let anything escape, not a single drop fell to the ground; she sucked it all up.

The tallic scent spread through the air like profane incense of pure lust, like an aphrodisiac. That blood was intoxicating, exciting, and very, very delicious.

Scarlett’s body also reacted; her skin regenerated with absurd speed, filling invisible fissures. Color returned to her cheeks, a slight blush replacing the cadaverous gray. Her dirty white hair began to regain its shine and crimson glow, strands coming to life like silk newly woven from blood. Her body trembled violently as an ultra-regeneration swept away centuries of draining.

A head of red hair, like flas, began to erge and descend to her buttocks,

"Haah... ahh..." She gasped between gulps, each breath stronger than the last, each drag more desperate. "How delicious..." she said awkwardly.

Victor’s blood began to take effect all over her body, exaggerated and provocative curves erging... a thin waist, wide hips, and a full chest, as if her body had been sculpted to provoke and dominate any room.

Victor observed everything with very... confident eyes. Unlike the first ti... when he hesitated quite a bit.

When he realized she was lost enough to act on instinct, he grabbed her by the neck and pulled her away from his arm, pushing away his almost empty wrist.

Without hesitation, he exposed his own neck.

"Drink." He ordered.

Like Carmilla, her eyes didn’t et his. The focus was on her veins pulsing beneath her skin.

"Damn it." In a movent too quick for soone who had been on the verge of death seconds before, she sank her fangs into his neck.

The pain wasn’t as intense as the first ti, but Victor felt a sting that sent shivers down his spine.

"Well, since you accepted..." He murmured in her ear as she drank his blood... In the sa instant, he leaned in and did the sa, sinking his fangs into her neck. "Let’s enjoy it," he murmured.

Her blood wasn’t as tasty as Carmilla’s, but it was undoubtedly better than Calindra’s.

Scarlett continued drinking from his neck with almost brutal avidity, her arms trembling as she gripped his shirt tightly. The blood still ran hot down her throat, rekindling every part of her body that had been dead for centuries.

But when Victor began to drink as well... The Ritual had been completed.

A silent connection ran through them like an invisible thread stitching their existences together.

Scarlett stopped first.

Her fangs slid out of the skin of his neck as she slowly recoiled, breathing heavily. Her chest rose and fell with deep breaths as a strange energy coursed beneath her newly regenerated skin.

She stared at him for a few seconds. Then she brought her hand to her neck, where the bloodstains were already closing.

"...I feel you," she finally said... her voice had changed slightly.

There was still sarcasm there, still that natural insolence that seed to be part of her personality... but now there was also a new layer of surprise.

Victor wiped so blood from the corner of his mouth with his thumb. "Yes," he replied calmly. " too." He was already used to Carmilla, so he simply nodded.

He sensed a little of her feelings. Not complete thoughts, not clear words... but impulses, fleeting emotions, fragnts of intention passing like shadows through the newly ford connection.

And at that specific mont... Victor raised an eyebrow.

Scarlett crossed her arms, trying to appear casual, but there was a slight tension in her body.

"...You’re crazy," she said.

Victor tilted his head.

"That was the first thing you thought," he comnted.

She blinked.

Then she narrowed her eyes.

"...Can you feel it?" she asked.

Victor shrugged.

"More or less."

Scarlett was silent for a second... then let out a short, surprised laugh.

"I never... never imagined this would happen," she said, running a hand through her now-restored auburn hair. "Eight centuries trapped in that hell... and suddenly so crazy kid shows up, drags

into a wedding ritual and turns

into his wife."

She shook her head, still sowhat incredulous.

"I confess it’s a little scary."

Victor watched her for a few seconds.

Then he smiled.

"You’re lying."

Scarlett froze.

"...Huh?"

Victor crossed his arms. "You’re not scared."

He tilted his head, looking directly into her eyes.

"You just want more blood."

The silence lasted exactly half a second.

Then Scarlett began to laugh.

It wasn’t a restrained laugh.

It was an open, amused, almost relieved laugh.

"Ha! Damn it..." she said between laughs, running a hand over her face. "You got ."

She took a step closer to him, her eyes gleaming again with that shaless hunger.

"But let’s be honest..." She tilted her head slightly. "You also noticed that your blood is absurdly addictive, didn’t you?" Her eyes briefly dropped to his neck again. "...I definitely want more."
