Seeing the equipnt being pushed in, Qin Miaomiao was forcefully pulled away by Lu Qing and Lin Xiaoxiao.

A crowd stood at the door, watching the doctor apply electrodes to Rong Lan’s body and seeing the increasingly powerful electric shocks, yet Rong Lan showed no response. At this mont, Qin Miaomiao noticed the sunshine streaming in from the window, and she suddenly rembered that dream.

"So, so it turns out in the dream he was saying goodbye to ."

Lin Xiaoxiao, hearing Qin Miaomiao’s words, was puzzled, watching her tears fall like broken pearls. She kept comforting her, "Miao Miao, I think Rong Lan wouldn’t want to see you like this now."

The doctor finally gave up on resuscitation, said sothing to the nurse, and began to record the ti of death.

It suddenly quieted down inside, and Qin Miaomiao sensed sothing was wrong. She broke free from Lin Xiaoxiao’s hold, rushed in, and began shaking the doctor: "Why aren’t you continuing the resuscitation, doctor? You have to continue, why give up, huh?!"

Seeing this, Lu Qing hurriedly pulled Qin Miaomiao’s hands away. She was strong, and it took effort to free the doctor from her grip. Then the doctor announced the patient’s ti and cause of death.

Qin Miaomiao kept shaking her head in disbelief after hearing it. Then she noticed Rong Lan’s face was covered by a white cloth.

"No, don’t, don’t cover him, Rong Lan."

Qin Miaomiao threw herself on him, wanting to remove the cloth, but was stopped by ng Yan.

"What are you doing? This will not let him rest in peace."

ng Yan grabbed Qin Miaomiao’s wrist and signaled Lu Qing to take her out.

"ng Yan, do you hate a lot... I know, I know it’s because of , because I..."

ng Yan looked at Qin Miaomiao, who seed possessed, and helplessly said to the back of Lu Qing’s head, "I’ll handle Rong Lan’s funeral. You should take good care of Qin Miaomiao. I think she’s been dealt a severe blow this ti."

The words reminded Lu Qing, making him even more reluctant to let go of Qin Miaomiao. Previously, because of Rong Lan, he was defensive, but now that Rong Lan had passed away, he began to worry about Qin Miaomiao’s emotional breakdown.

Lin Xiaoxiao had not expected to witness Rong Lan’s death scene. Just yesterday, they were drinking and eating together, talking and laughing. How could everything be so different within a single day?

Rong Lan’s assistant bowed his head as he approached ng Yan: "President ng, is there anything you need to do?"

"There’s a lot you need to do. Listen carefully, one thing at a ti."

The assistant fought a shiver down his spine, nodded solemnly at ng Yan’s restrained gaze; he knew this was the last thing he could do for Rong Lan.

Qin Miaomiao couldn’t calm her emotions at all; Lu Qing stayed by her side, fearing she might take things too hard. He was already worried before that sothing might happen to Rong Lan, unexpectedly, it was a sudden heart attack that took him away.

Everything was so unreal, making him even more concerned about Qin Miaomiao’s emotions. She always thought it was her fault, and she owed Rong Lan a debt of gratitude. Now that he was gone, she surely blad herself even more, not knowing how to repay the debt.

Lin Xiaoxiao ca out and looked at Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao, unable to hold back her words: "Mr. Lu, I’ll watch over Miao Miao, and you should go in and say sothing to President ng."

"Hmm."

Lu Qing sighed, leaving Qin Miaomiao with Lin Xiaoxiao to take care of, and then imdiately went in to find ng Yan.

"This is also the last thing I can do on behalf of Miao Miao for him. Rest assured."

Lu Qing looked at ng Yan and agreed to his request.
