"Sister Jiaojiao, I know."
The relationship with ng Yan, Hua Tiantian started to take it seriously because of Qin Miaomiao’s influence, so the number of phone calls gradually decreased from two a day to one, and then less and less until ng Yan felt sothing was off when he hadn’t spoken to Hua Tiantian for two days.
"Could it be that he’s too busy and forgot to call ?"
After thinking it over seriously, she finally realized the many things she’d overlooked, and what made her feel awkward was that she couldn’t recall exactly when he had beco accustod to calling Hua Tiantian daily. Yet after just two days, he was already becoming paranoid.
"What they say is indeed true; when you like soone, your IQ really can drop to zero."
ng Yan had no issues at work, and investing in Qin Miaomiao’s new play wasn’t entirely because of Hua Tiantian. But claiming that Hua Tiantian had nothing to do with it would be a lie, so he started to feel a sense of gain and loss.
"It seems I have to tell her face-to-face and pinpoint the nature of our relationship. Hua Tiantian’s mind is too simple; if I don’t do sothing obvious, she might still think she’s single."
The tendency to control subordinates extended to emotions as well.
He disliked the feeling of uncertainty, so before confirming Hua Tiantian’s heart was a hundred percent his, he needed to talk to her face-to-face.
Hua Tiantian had just finished a whole day’s shoot, and in her quiet monts, she thought about ng Yan and Qin Miaomiao’s words. In the end, she realized she wanted to prioritize her work, to achieve sothing professionally, and having finally gotten on the right track, she didn’t want to lose her motivation for goals because of ng Yan.
"Sister Qin was right; this is a very important period for , and given his public persona, whether or not the paparazzi capture sothing, it wouldn’t be good for either of us."
Hua Tiantian made up her mind and resolved to keep her acting and ng Yan separate.
She didn’t expect ng Yan to appear at the set before she could even explain things to him.
When ng Yan saw Hua Tiantian, she looked surprised and glanced at the surrounding staff. He didn’t approach her, just stood watching from afar.
In contrast, Hua Tiantian, noticing ng Yan’s presence, had a significant shift in mood. It was sowhat challenging to maintain focus on her scene.
"Everyone take a break."
Hua Tiantian nodded at the director and then headed straight toward ng Yan.
"Why did you co all of a sudden?"
"Ca to see if you’ve been too busy and forgotten about ."
Hua Tiantian looked at ng Yan in surprise; his words seed a bit harsh, making it hard for her mind to process quickly. She glanced around nervously, unsure if he was blaming her for not calling him promptly.
"I’ve been quite busy lately, with a lot of scenes scheduled."
ng Yan noticed Hua Tiantian’s evasive eyes, and his heart tightened. Without letting her finish, he directly took her hand and led her toward his car.
"Let go of my hand, it won’t look good if people see us. ng Yan, ng Yan, let go..."
Hua Tiantian, struggling, looked at him in annoyance, worried that soone might capture this mont. She stubbornly tried to shake off ng Yan’s hand, but he held it firmly.
"I won’t let go of your hand until you explain everything clearly."
ng Yan’s determination left Hua Tiantian with no reason to resist further; instead, it made her even more restless.
