Old Sir Lu leaned on his cane, keeping a breath held within his heart. He originally didn’t care about Lu Xing, even though he was a child of the Lu Family and carried the Lu bloodline, his father’s decisiveness back then had truly broken his heart.
From the window, one could clearly see Lu Xing and his girlfriend.
"She said her na is Mo Wenwan. Quite a nice na, and she looks decent too. This kid seems to have so taste."
Lu Xing’s gaze lingered on Mo Wenwan. Just as he was about to speak, he heard the sound of a car coming from not far away. Curiously, he turned to look and saw a luxury limited edition car slowly approaching.
Mo Wenwan also saw the car. Her eyes instinctively narrowed. Although she hadn’t seen the person inside yet, she already had a premonition.
Lu Xing’s gaze then turned back to Mo Wenwan, deliberately reminding her: "If I’m not mistaken, the person getting out of the car should be Lu Qing."
"I’m ready. Don’t worry, I won’t embarrass you."
Mo Wenwan flashed a relaxed smile at Lu Xing, and the atmosphere beca less tense.
After parking the car steadily in the garage, Lu Qing opened the car door first. In an instant, he saw two people slowly walking toward him. His gaze then caught a familiar face, and upon confirming that it was Lu Xing, his brows suddenly furrowed.
"What’s wrong?"
"Nothing. Let’s get out."
After speaking, Lu Qing walked over to open her car door, only to see Qin Miaomiao, wearing a dress, step out of the car.
"I ca to see Grandpa. Didn’t expect to run into you guys, what a coincidence today."
Lu Xing spoke while keeping an eye on Qin Miaomiao.
Mo Wenwan noticed Lu Xing’s gaze, and then paused for a mont on Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao’s hand-holding gesture before she took Lu Xing’s arm proactively.
"Aren’t you going to introduce us?"
Hearing Mo Wenwan’s voice, Lu Xing seed a bit lost. By the ti he ca to his senses, Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao were already close. He pointed to Mo Wenwan beside him and said, "Let introduce you, Mo Wenwan, my girlfriend."
Lu Qing glanced indifferently, carefully observing Lu Xing’s expression, feeling surprisingly calm. Then he tightened his grip on Qin Miaomiao beside him, "Let’s go inside."
"Alright."
Qin Miaomiao knew of Mo Wenwan and knew Lu Qing didn’t like Lu Xing, so she nodded at them before following Lu Qing inside.
Watching the backs of Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao, Mo Wenwan couldn’t help but say, "Lu Xing, aren’t you going to follow them in?"
"They’re definitely going to see Old Master Lu. You co with ; maybe it will be a good show."
"A good show?" Mo Wenwan caught a glimpse of the smile creeping onto Lu Xing’s lips, a bit sinister.
Old Sir Lu noticed soone return and happened to encounter Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao as he walked to the bedroom. He glanced at Qin Miaomiao and said nothing.
"Grandpa, Miao Miao and I are back."
"You ran into Lu Xing outside, didn’t you?"
"Saw him."
Lu Qing remained expressionless as Qin Miaomiao released his hand and picked up the gift box: "Grandpa, I bought you your favorite tea leaves."
"Just put it there."
Old Sir Lu’s expression was indifferent, instructing Qin Miaomiao to set it down without even looking at it.
Mo Wenwan, who happened to walk in and saw this scene, rolled her eyes and eagerly approached: "Grandpa, let make you so tea. I’ve heard that drinking a cup of tea every day can strengthen the spleen and nourish the stomach."
