When she took her hand, Joanna’s heart trembled, especially when she started treating her wound ticulously. The cotton swab brushed over the wound, it hurt a little, with a hint of numbness. She wished she was hurt more seriously so that she could be close to her for a longer ti.
"If you’re worried, you can get a tetanus shot."
"Thanks, ow ow ow."
