Many people wanted to strike up a conversation with Lu Qing to build a good relationship.

Given that Lu Qing rarely made public appearances, many naturally showed great respect for him while maintaining a strong curiosity.

To avoid suspicion, the two temporarily separated. Qin Miaomiao couldn’t be bothered to socialize, so she hid in a corner, nibbling on so snacks to fill her stomach.

Huang Shan, however, walked over. She seed to have her sights set on her and said:

"President Li said he’ll make a top-tier star."

Qin Miaomiao glanced at her, finding her sentint rather baffling. So... what does that have to do with her?

Was it really worth her coming over to deliberately say this to her?

"Really? Then congratulations."

"You seem to hate my face, don’t you?"

Qin Miaomiao replied indifferently, "Hate it or not, does it matter?"

Huang Shan leaned closer and said, "But what can you do? Even if you hate it, I’ll still linger around in front of you. This is President Li’s intention, after all."

Qin Miaomiao narrowed her eyes. Oh, so now she wanted to play psychological gas?

Trying to force her to lose composure with this kind of tactic?

"Girl, let offer you so advice: don’t let yourself float too high. After all, I’m a shareholder in President Li’s company. If I say we should blacklist you, what do you think President Li would say to that?"

Huang Shan’s face imdiately turned pale. She wasn’t clueless; how could she not know the reason President Li was promoting her? She’d co here purposely to provoke her.

Using this thod to force Qin Miaomiao into losing her temper!

Qin Miaomiao spoke calmly, "You’re still too weak right now. If you want to gain fa, you’d better keep quiet. Otherwise, it’s far too easy to beco soone’s discarded pawn. Do you really think with just your looks, you can go far? President Li seems to have plenty of won around him. Why don’t you deal with those won first and then co back when you’re his exclusive favorite?"

This statent, in reality, could be considered friendly advice.

Huang Shan, however, took it as ridicule. Her expression darkened as she sneered:

"Then, Miss Qin, may I ask—are you President Lu’s exclusive favorite right now?"

Qin Miaomiao curled her lips into a smile. "Sorry, I’m not only his exclusive favorite; I’ll also be his only woman."

Even more than that—his wife.

Huang Shan mocked her with a smile, "I hope Miss Qin can always maintain this level of confidence, because frankly, n are far too fickle. Even if you have a perfect face and body, you can’t stop the endless stream of won throwing themselves at him."

Her words carried an implicit aning. Following her gaze, Qin Miaomiao looked over.

She saw a woman in revealing attire, holding a champagne glass, deliberately walking toward Lu Qing. As she reached him, she stumbled and fell right toward him.

An average man’s instinctive reaction would naturally be to catch her. The woman’s outfit was suggestive—her bare back was exposed, and her semi-visible chest seed on the verge of spilling out.

Yet, to everyone’s shock, Lu Qing dodged to the side as if avoiding sothing filthy, expertly stepping out of the way.

The woman fell heavily to the ground, looking aggrievedly at Lu Qing and saying, "Mr. Lu, why didn’t you catch ?"

"I have a fear of dirt."

The crowd: .....

No one dared to criticize him, though. Everyone present knew exactly what the woman’s intentions were.

Plenty of won wanted to latch onto him, but they were still hesitating. This particular woman had simply done what many wanted to but didn’t dare attempt.

Although, evidently, it had little effect.

Qin Miaomiao watched the scene unfold and couldn’t help but laugh. "He’s... not like most people."

"But he has a wife! You’re nothing more than the other woman!"
