Sending him off to South Arica or whatever—of course that was a joke. But squeezing every drop out of him? That’s still happening.
This guy didn’t know when to ease up, and her neck ended up killing her. As for Lu Qing, naturally, she was keeping a grudge!
Even if he wanted her to understand his point, there was no need to go so hard. Angry! She was so angry!
This debt? It’s definitely getting settled.
So, when Lu Qing got ho and wanted to snuggle up with Qin Miaomiao, he quickly discovered there was an uninvited guest in his house!
"Honey, this is Ou Beichen, Ou Bei Yao’s younger brother. He’ll be staying with us for a few days."
Lu Qing glanced at the silver-haired, strikingly handso teenager quietly sitting on the sofa, and his expression instantly turned ice-cold!
He was just about to grab and toss the kid out, but Qin Miaomiao stopped him, pulling him aside and whispering:
"He’s autistic and has problems with aggression. As his psychologist, I need to help him."
Lu Qing shot her a sideways glance and sneered:
"Since when did you beco a psychologist?"
"Ten thousand bucks a minute, okay? Didn’t I make one point two million last ti? Ou Bei Yao dropped him here, transferred five million to , and asked to look after him for a few days."
Lu Qing scoffed: "You sold yourself out as soone else’s nanny for five million?"
"Hey, hey, hey, what nanny? I’m a psychologist! Besides, this kid’s kind of attached to . He’s been here a whole day, and hasn’t made a peep—super obedient. Both his parents are gone, and he dealt with too much trauma as a kid, which caused his current condition. Ou Bei Yao had sothing urgent to handle, and was worried about leaving him alone, so he sent him over to ."
Lu Qing ruffled the top of her head with a roughness that almost turned it into a ss of loose threads!
"Miao Miao, you’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?"
Qin Miaomiao gave him a look of pure innocence: "How could I be? This is all your fault—you said it yourself, I’ve always been overly empathetic. So just treat it like we have one more person at ho, okay?"
Lu Qing gritted his teeth, glared at her, and sat down beside Ou Beichen. He prepared a spread of fruit and snacks for the boy and even started watching a movie together.
"Xiao Chen, let’s watch a horror film together."
Ou Beichen edged tightly against her. The movie was Western, with so grueso scenes—not too terrifying, but tense enough. Ou Beichen seed nervous, clinging tightly to the hem of her shirt.
Qin Miaomiao fetched a blanket and spread it over the two of them, making them look perfectly cozy together.
The more Lu Qing watched, the more irritating Ou Beichen beca. A boy of fourteen or fifteen—not quite grown, but not entirely a child either—using that innocent face to lower won’s guard.
Especially since he had that so-called autism!
Lu Qing stomped over aggressively, intending to sit between them. Ou Beichen shrank away, trembling violently. Qin Miaomiao imdiately scooted closer to Ou Beichen, and with righteous indignation, said:
"Don’t sit here! Xiao Chen will get scared."
Lu Qing was exasperated as he shot Ou Beichen a cold glare but grudgingly sat off to the side.
"Xiao Chen, try these chips—they taste great."
"Xiao Chen, how about an apple?"
"Xiao Chen, if you’re scared, just grab my arm, okay? Be good."
Lu Qing finally lost it, bursting out: "Qin Miaomiao!"
"What?"
"I want so chips."
"Don’t you have hands?"
Lu Qing smirked coldly: "I want you to feed ."
"Oh, wow. Are you for real? A grown-up man fighting for attention with a kid? Don’t you feel embarrassed?"
