Jin Jing was the first to gripe, "Little Lu, why have you gotten so shaless lately? This is what people call being a sore loser, you know!"
Lu Qing glanced at him, "The debts I owe my wife— even if I default, it’s completely aboveboard."
Yan Lv hooked his arm around Jin Jing’s shoulder and clicked his tongue twice, "I’ve figured it out. He’s just here to rub his love life in everyone’s faces."
ng Yan: "For those who show off their relationships, I’ve never held back. Brothers, who’s up for a group fight?"
Song Li: "Count in."
Lu Qing cracked his knuckles and swept his gaze over the group, "You lot, co at together."
Qin Miaomiao stared in disbelief. A group fight? Before she could even react, the five of them were already clashing in a chaotic brawl. Hey, hey, hey— four against one?!
"Jin Jing, where the hell are you kicking?! Trying to make my husband lose his future lineage?"
"ng Er, how can you go for a chokehold? That’s against the rules, now let go!"
"Yan Lv, why do you only pull dirty tricks? Honey, watch your left! Left!"
As for Song Li’s attacks— well, cough, cough— idols are idols, every move they make looks graceful. Anyway, since he didn’t actually hit her husband, she pretended not to notice.
But Lu Qing was sothing else. Even with four people ganging up on him, he managed to handle it effortlessly, only using half his strength. Besides, they weren’t seriously fighting, otherwise an ambulance would’ve been called by now.
Ten minutes later, Qin Miaomiao had already downed three bottles of beer.
"So, big-shot gentlen, are you done fighting yet? I’m so bored. How about rolling so dice or playing pai gow or sothing?"
No one paid her any attention.
"I’ll put up one million— whoever plays a ga of billiards with gets to keep it. How about that?"
Jin Jing was the first to stop, smoothing out his thoroughly wrinkled shirt with an air of elegance, then walking over to her gracefully:
"Always happy to serve my dear sister-in-law."
Before he could even finish, his collar was grabbed, and he was thrown aside. Yan Lv squinted with a sly smile, his gold-rimd glasses already bent out of shape. He casually tossed them aside and said with a grin:
"Sister-in-law, from the mont we t, I felt like we were kindred spirits. Let take over this billiards ga. Oh, and the million I just transferred to you— please kindly send it back."
Big shots, huh? Why do they all look like money-hungry misers? Seriously, how do you justify your supposed elite status?
The girls standing off to the side were utterly stunned. What was this insane turn of events? These n were supposedly the cream of the crop in Yan Jing! Landing even one of them could guarantee a worry-free life— even being kept as a mistress could bring unimaginable luxury. Forget that, even small-ti celebrities could use their influence to shoot to the top. One word from these guys, and a second-rate nobody could beco an A-lister!
But these n... were all revolving around one woman?
And that woman was Young Master Lu’s wife?

Everything that had happened tonight felt like it was spiraling into absurdity. The girls, reduced to re bystanders, didn’t even seem to have a chance to interject.
One of them, unwilling to give up, spoke in a sugary voice:
"Mr. Yan, why play billiards? How about we drink instead?"
Yan Lv shot her a cold glare and snapped: "Scram! Stop interrupting while I bond with my sister-in-law!"
Are you sure you’re trying to bond with her, and not her money?
The girl, utterly humiliated, turned pale as a sheet.
Qin Miaomiao chuckled and said:
"How about this— with so many of us here, why don’t we play mahjong? It’ll pass the ti, let us bet, and everyone can put their million down as their stakes. How does that sound?"
