Joanna was a proud girl. In a fit of anger, she decided to challenge her. George, being part of a Mafia Family, naturally raised Joanna with an unyielding aura. Unlike those other rich young ladies who might only compete in piano playing or painting, their competitions... well, let’s just say it was a bit heavy-handed.
"What did you say? Russian roulette?"
Russian roulette, as seen in movies, involves loading a single bullet in the chamber. Whoever gets the unlucky spin... dies.
"Do you dare?"
Qin Miaomiao looked at her with an expression like she was staring at an idiot. "Sorry, I value my life too much to play that."
"Then how about archery?"
Putting an apple on your head and being the live target?
"No."
Joanna sneered in disdain. "Coward. If you’re afraid of everything, how can you be worthy of Lu?"
Lu Qing leaned close to Qin Miaomiao’s ear and asked, "Need to handle this?"
"What would you do if it were you?"
"Throw her out."
"..." So simple and brutal... but she liked it!
Qin Miaomiao gave him a helpless look. "No need. This is a battle between won, and besides, she’s actually keeping entertained."
Lu Qing and George, along with a few other n, sat on a stone bench nearby to watch the show. George turned to Lu Qing. "Lu, are you not worried at all? My sister isn’t exactly ordinary in her skills."
Lu Qing replied indifferently, "If my wife gets bullied, don’t I have myself to fall back on?"
Of course, if it were his turn to step in, things wouldn’t be so simple.
George’s left eyelid twitched. "You wouldn’t actually start fighting with a woman, would you?"
Little Sixth rolled his eyes. Other than Young Madam, it seed no woman really counted as a "woman" in Lu’s eyes, much less soone who’d evoke any sort of tenderness from him.
By this point, they’d already gotten used to eating this kind of "dog food."
Joanna was at wits’ end with Qin Miaomiao. This woman just wouldn’t play by the rules!
"Horseback riding. Dare or not?"
Qin Miaomiao squinted at her. This girl was honestly quite pretty—curves in all the right places, refined and deep-set features. From a visual standpoint, definitely a seductive beauty.
Though a bit arrogant, and bold enough to even eye her husband...
"Not interested."
Joanna was practically going insane. "You coward! What on earth do you dare compete in?"
"Hand-to-hand combat."
"What?"
She looked at her in disbelief. This petite and seemingly delicate woman actually dared suggest they free-fight!
She was at least half a head taller than her!
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
"Heh, just don’t start crying halfway through."
When the two won strapped on boxing gloves, the group of n nearby was stunned. Won fighting?
This was already an inherently violent sport, and injuries were practically inevitable. Even Lu Qing wasn’t entirely sure why Qin Miaomiao chose this.
Qin Miaomiao cast him a reassuring glance. She never fought battles she wasn’t confident she could win.
The ga had only just begun. To defeat soone, you had to dominate them physically!
Once the gloves were on, a transformation occurred in Qin Miaomiao’s eyes. She beca like a leopard, launching into a frenzied assault on Joanna.
The angles of her attacks were cunning, and her strength was ruthless!
At first, Joanna was completely caught off guard. But she was no amateur either and quickly recovered, even landing a fierce punch to Qin Miaomiao’s stomach.
Blood seeped from Qin Miaomiao’s lips, yet her deanor only grew more savage. The pain seed to awaken sothing primal within her!
She licked her lips, fixing her eyes on Joanna fiercely. Despite her delicate appearance, nobody dared underestimate her. She smiled at her, revealing teeth:
"The ga’s just beginning."
