Suddenly feeling an intense heartache, Mu Sha placed her forehead on the steering wheel, struggling as she clutched her chest in discomfort.
Yan Lv was in a eting when his heartbeat suddenly accelerated.
He felt inexplicably anxious but couldn’t identify the reason. He glanced around at his subordinates who were watching him, gestured to the secretary to continue the eting, and then walked out of the conference room to the restroom.
"Strange, what’s happening to ."
Washing his face with cold water, Yan Lv tried to clear his mind.
The montary discomfort had made him particularly uneasy, and the more he thought about it, the worse he felt. He seriously contemplated many things, and ultimately thought of Mu Sha.
"My brain must be malfunctioning, she must definitely be in the lab at this ti."
Yan Lv couldn’t shake off his concern for her, feeling he would suffocate if he didn’t ask soon. Staring at the watch on his wrist, he decided he must return ho earlier today, cancel all social engagents, and have a good talk with Mu Sha.
Determined, Yan Lv wished he could see Mu Sha imdiately. Then he rembered the ongoing eting, so he tidied himself up briefly and left the restroom.
Jin Jing received a ssage from Yan Lv, and he felt puzzled too.
No matter how simple the background of ng Chengjun was, it’s impossible for nothing to happen. Having lived over twenty years without doing anything out of line, either the person is suppressing sothing or there are issues at heart. Thinking it over, he felt sothing was amiss.
With Yan Lv’s call going unanswered, he directly edited a ssage and sent it over, hesitantly making a call to ng Chengjun. He planned to find an excuse to probe her.
"Let’s have dinner together, we’ll et at the entrance of New Heaven and Earth in an hour."
ng Chengjun dressed up ticulously, deliberately highlighting her strengths. Originally considering mascara, she later decided a simpler look might earn more empathy from Jin Jing, and left the apartnt with a subtle makeup.

Jin Jing arrived at New Heaven and Earth ahead of ti. He didn’t step out of the car, simply switched off the engine and waited for ng Chengjun to appear. Within ten minutes, her figure appeared in sight.
Noticing she still wore flat shoes today, his gaze took on a new perspective. Having pondered the details about ng Chengjun earlier, he found many discrepancies.
"It’s about ti, if he doesn’t show up soon, I’ll start getting anxious."
Twenty minutes passed, and Jin Jing sat motionless in the car staring at ng Chengjun. Concerned about the car being recognized, he parked a bit farther away in a less conspicuous spot. Observing her continuously play on her phone and borrow a call, he realized she was getting impatient.
"Now you know waiting for others is quite a frustrating matter."
Jin Jing got out of the car, sneaking up from behind ng Chengjun, intentionally slowed his pace and called her na.
ng Chengjun turned around to look at Jin Jing, her pupils suddenly enlarged, her gaze softened, and she squinted at the man saying, "If you don’t co soon, I’m going to find a place to sit. I’m not tired, but he is."
Seeing ng Chengjun pointing at her stomach, Jin Jing suddenly felt an indescribable emotion. He felt sothing was off all over his body, seriously looking into her eyes, squinting, he said, "Let’s find a place to sit, go inside first."
