Seeing no progress, Lu Xing’s anxiety was no less than seeing no glimr of hope. He initially thought that convincing the old man would make the rest of the tasks easier.

Plus, those veteran mbers, they were loyal to the old man first, and now to him. Trying to benefit among them is too difficult. You still need to personally persuade the old man."
Lu Xing thought of many ways and still felt that having his father intervene was the most suitable approach. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that building a good relationship with the old man was crucial. Besides, Lu Qing had such tight control in many areas that dealing with so stubborn people would be tough. So he made his decision.
Qin Miaomiao agreed to have dinner with Lu Qing tonight.

The ntion of ’Mrs. Lu’ sounded really grating, but it stirred so different thoughts within him. He gazed intently into the other person’s eyes, lost in thought about many things, then hung up the phone.
"Miss Qin."
Lu Xing feigned surprise as he walked up to Qin Miaomiao. Her action of sipping coffee suddenly beca sluggish. She lifted her eyelids to stare at Lu Xing, her expression gradually turning dazed, and she slowly stood up and nodded: "Mr. Lu."
"Here to see Lu Qing?"
"Yes, he’s busy, so I’m waiting for him."
Lu Xing’s jealousy toward Lu Qing stemd from multiple aspects, especially thinking that Qin Miaomiao’s presence validated his suspicions. He pondered many things thoughtfully, mulling over various matters, and earnestly said, "You really are considerate of Lu Qing."
"He’s my husband, so naturally, his matters are my priority."
Qin Miaomiao didn’t want to get too involved with Lu Xing in other matters, so she didn’t pay much attention to many things. Reflecting deeply on many issues, she finally watched as Lu Xing walked toward the reception.
"A cup of coffee, sent there."
Seeing the direction Lu Xing pointed was her own, Qin Miaomiao roughly understood what he intended to do next. She looked at him, surprised at his back-and-forth action, harboring other thoughts within.
"You seem quite adapted to the company, mingling well with others in such a short ti."
Lu Xing scrutinized Qin Miaomiao, sensing there was more to her words, yet his heart remained exceptionally calm. He considered her visit to Lu Qing today, whether they were openly showing affection or have always interacted this way.
