"Since you want to play tricks with , why don’t I play along and give you an opportunity to expose yourself."
Qin Miaomiao had a plan forming in her mind, but she still needed to handle it carefully. The hardest part was maintaining the right balance and judgnt, so she thought it over and set her sights on Mo Wenwan.
At this mont, Mo Wenwan was dealing with paparazzi who had taken photos of the chaotic private life of one of her artists. She stepped forward to negotiate with them, boasting that she would provide them with another scoop within half a month as compensation. Only then did they hold off on publishing the photos.
"There must be negatives, and who knows how many copies they made. It seems that if I don’t give them an even better lead, the photos might still get out in half a month," Mo Wenwan frowned imdiately.
"Strange, why is she calling ?"
She had unintentionally noted down Qin Miaomiao’s phone number, never expecting to receive a call from her.
Mo Wenwan thought she was seeing things, but eventually realized it was indeed her calling. So, half-believing, she answered the phone, "Hello, Miss Qin."
Qin Miaomiao spoke in a polite tone, "I hope we can collaborate, Miss Mo. Are you interested?"
Upon hearing Qin Miaomiao’s words, Mo Wenwan was incredulous. She couldn’t understand the purpose of partnering when she didn’t even know what the collaboration entailed, so she asked, "What does Miss Qin an?"
"Let’s discuss it in person. Are you free at ten o’clock tomorrow morning?"
Mo Wenwan thought for a mont, "The ti is fine. Where should we et?"
"How about this, I’ll send you the address later."
Mo Wenwan didn’t quite believe that Qin Miaomiao genuinely wanted to cooperate, but she was also worried about any other moves Qin Miaomiao might make that she wouldn’t anticipate. So, after much internal conflict, she decided to et up, thinking there might be an unexpected gain.
She struggled internally, then flipped through so major IPs she was interested in, recalling what Li Li had said about investing. This made her think differently. She felt things were becoming more difficult, and the company’s current funds couldn’t possibly acquire these IPs. Additionally, her taste in works diverged from Li Li’s, so the conflict was becoming apparent.
"If he’s really going to invest in that show, I’m definitely not optimistic about it. But all the funds are in his hands. Unless I buy the rights myself, which is impossible with my current ability."
Once again, she was in a dilemma. Mo Wenwan had been seeking other solutions, but had yet to find a suitable one. Unexpectedly, Qin Miaomiao reached out at this ti, which surprised her and made her more inclined to et with Qin Miaomiao.
Li Li’s gaze was fixed intently on the silent woman in front of him. Watching her remain speechless, sitting dazedly with her eyes blankly fixed on the floor, he had so other thoughts.
"It seems President Shan really likes you."
Suddenly, these words reached Huang Shan’s ears, and the hands resting on her knees trembled slightly. She looked at the man in front of her in astonishnt, feeling out of sorts, impulsively stood up, and said lightly, "You know, I never had any other intentions towards President Shan. I only approached him because you asked to at the beginning."
