A thought crossed Qiao Yin’s mind, and she said with a smile, “Your father must be hoping that you’ll make sothing of yourself too, so he might be a little strict with you. The older generation tends to be like this. Isn’t your father the sa way?”

“Is your father really that understanding? He never interferes with your dating life?”

Anticipating Qiao Yin’s response, Gu Jing said, “If I bring you ho, my dad will definitely welco you. I’m sure he will support our being together. Would you like to be my girlfriend?”
The water was ready by now. As she made tea, Qiao Yin turned him down, “I think being friends is better. Besides, it’s a little exaggerated to beco boyfriend and girlfriend after just a few days of knowing each other, isn’t it?”

Just as he was about to finish, Gu Jing realized that he’d revealed too much of himself and quickly shut up.
His mouth got ahead of his head for a mont, and he accidentally revealed his past.
He watched Qiao Yin’s expression but found her seemingly focused on making tea, oblivious to his inappropriate remark.
Suddenly feeling relaxed, he leaned onto the sofa bonelessly, admiring the beauty before his eyes and wishing he could sweep her into his arms.
The tea was ready quickly. Qiao Yin gave a cup to Gu Jing and said with a smile, “Try it, Young Master Gu. This Da Hong Pao tea tastes good.”
Gu Jing took the tea, blew on it, and took a sip, “It’s indeed good. But, my dad has even better tea. I will give you so next ti.”
“I appreciate that, Young Master Gu! But, is it okay to give your dad’s tea?”
“There’s nothing wrong with that. My dad is very generous. If he knew that I was giving you his tea to drink, he would definitely tell to choose the best!”
Qiao Yin complinted his father a few more tis, then subtly changed the subject to matters concerning his family.
Despite his wild lifestyle, Gu Jing seed pretty open and unguarded. He spoke whatever ca to his mind, praising his father to the skies.
Qiao Yin chatted with him until lunch ti and then sent him away.
Afterwards, she drove to the dical clinic.
She wasn’t satisfied with the results of their one-on-one chat because she didn’t get much useful information from Gu Jing.
The best way was for her to et his father, the current head of the Gu family, in person.
To do that, she still had to go through Gu Jing.
With a clear goal in mind, Qiao Yin drove back to the clinic.
