Gu Jing seed keen to linger, but Qiao Yin warned: “Does Young Master Gu want another taste of the needle?”
The slight alteration in Gu Jing’s face reflected his recollection of the unbearable pain of not being able to speak. He sighed regretfully and reluctantly left.
