Old Sir Gu was pleased, “Alright! I’ll listen to you and take it slowly. I’ve been in this wheelchair for so many years, I don’t mind taking a little longer! As long as my leg can be cured, I’m okay with anything!”

“When I first asked your mother to co to the Gu Family and be my personal doctor, she didn’t agree at first either.”
“It was only after I offered her ten tis her salary and proposed to recomnd her to a big hospital for professional exchange that she agreed.”

Qiao Yin lowered her eyes.
She thought, the reason her mother agreed to be Old Sir Gu’s personal doctor must not have been for the tenfold salary.
Even though her maternal family wasn’t extrely wealthy, they were all doctors and were actually quite well off. Her mother was raised lavishly by her grandmother and didn’t attach much importance to money.
She guessed that her mother had just left her grandmother and was independently gaining experience when she learned of the opportunity to connect with other doctors for professional exchange at the Gu family. She must have been moved by this opportunity which made her agree to be Old Sir Gu’s personal physician.
