The blessing bestowed a divine protection
Leo said that the protection from blessings did not affect other types of magic energy.
In any case, Leo said that if sothing happened while we were separated, she would detect it and co to help. So I suppose it ant that it would be easier to call her if necessary.
Still…that also reminded of the story about Josephine.
During the war, the Silver Fenrir had rushed in to help when she was in danger.
“And what about the blessing from the fenrirs? Will they also detect us if sothing happens?”
“Wou-wou. Grau. Wuff-wuff…”
Apparently, unlike Leo’s, there was not much of an effect.
Still, there was not a weak connection between us as well.
Usually, they sent this blessing towards the pack leader. And so it was like a ceremony that showed how the fenrirs would now obey and Claire.
“So Claire and I are the fenrir leaders now?”
“ too?”
“Wuff-wou. Wuff-wuff…”
“Hmm…”
Leo shook her head.
Feri was still their leader.
However, as we were allies and not enemies, as long as there was no special reason, they would obey us.
Also, if we ever t other fenrirs, they would also determine that we were not enemies, and so we would not be attacked… As long as we did not attack them, of course.
“Blessings from a Silver Fenrir and fenrirs…and the protections. Is it really fine for to accept them?”
Claire asked Leo with a serious expression.
“Wuff-wuff. Wuff! Wuff!”
“Leo is saying that you shouldn’t worry about it. Well, she actually said more…stuff that was unnecessary. In any case, I think it’s fine to just accept it gratefully.”
“Unnecesary?”
“Uh, forget I said anything. Yes.”
“Really? Very well…”
She had said sothing about being a pair…and having children. Well, she was thinking like a beast, I suppose.
And I could not repeat such a thing to Claire.

“Thanks, Leo.”

We thanked Leo again and petted her. Leo barked happily.
Though, I now felt a little embarrassed after what Leo said. And I had to look away from Claire as my face grew hot.
After that, we went back to explain to the others what had happened. As they had gathered near the entrance hall and looked quite surprised.
We also petted the fenrirs after we had finished petting Leo.
“Hmmm. Around here?”
“Grau!”
“Ah, he likes it, papa!”
“It seems like each fenrir likes to be petted in a different spot.”
The fenrirs waited in a line to be petted.
They always barked happily when you found the spot, and Liza helped to translate, which made things easier.
Alfred watched us from behind with great interest.
“Hehe. The way they close their eyes…they really enjoy it.”
“Mr. Takumi is really good at understanding where they want to be petted.”
Tilura looked impressed.
Well, I suppose it was because I was used to petting cats and dogs.
When Leo was a Maltese, she had often played with other pets in the neighborhood.
