Elion's grip on the steering wheel was tight, his knuckles pale as his fingers dug into the smooth leather. He clenched his jaw, and his face set in a mask of simring rage. The calm he usually carried was gone, replaced by an anger that bubbled just below the surface. The car roared as he pressed the gas pedal to the floor, speeding through the dimly lit streets. The city lights flashed past like streaks of fire, matching the intensity of his burning anger.

The red traffic light ahead forced him to stop. Elion let out a sharp breath, his chest rising and falling, but the tension didn't leave him. His phone buzzed, the sound slicing through the tense silence of the car. With a quick swipe, he connected the call through the car's bluetooth. "I'm on my way."

The person on the other end sounded calm, though the urgency slipped through. "We found him," Kade inford him.

"Good. I'll be there in a minute." Elion's hand hovered over the control to end the call when Kade spoke again.

"There's been a slight change in the plan, I'm afraid," Kade said carefully, his tone almost cautious. "You're not going to file a complaint to Arthur Weston anyway, are you?"

Elion frowned, his brow furrowing as his anger simred. "What do you an?"

Kade hesitated for a mont before continuing, choosing his words carefully. "The guy we picked up... he's one of us."

His hands tightened on the wheel, the tension in his jaw matched by the dangerous glint in his eyes. "Where is he now?"

"The usual place," Kade replied.

Elion ended the call without another word, his jaw tightening as the light turned green. He stomped on the gas, sending the car roaring forward. The grand Crystal Hotel ca into view, its lights gleaming, but he making a quick turn into a more isolated street.

Ten minutes later, the city lights gave way to open fields and quiet roads. Elion's car slowed as he approached an abandoned building, its windows shattered and walls crumbling. The stench of rot and damp wood was everywhere, making the place feel even more eerie. Elion parked the car and stepped out, his shoes crunching on the gravel as he walked straight toward the entrance.

Inside, it was dark and heavy, like the air carried a weight. A dim bulb swung from the ceiling, its flickering light making shadows dance across the cracked walls. The n in the room straightened as he walked in, their nods a quiet sign of respect. Without acknowledging their greetings, he made his way to the middle of the room.

Kade was waiting there, standing over a man who was on his knees, his head covered with a sack. The man's hands and legs were bound with thick chains that rattled slightly as he shifted uncomfortably. Kade turned when he noticed Elion approaching, a grim smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

"This is the guy," Kade said simply, stepping aside as Elion ca to stand beside him.

Elion's cold gaze swept over the man. Without a word, he reached down and yanked the sack off, revealing a disheveled man with glowing red eyes. The man squinted against the sudden light, his gaze darting around before settling on Elion. A smirk twisted his lips, as if mocking his own vulnerability.

"Well, well, you must be the big boss," the man began, his voice oozing fake confidence. "What's this about?"

Kade didn't answer imdiately. Instead, he pulled out his phone, unlocked the screen, and turned it toward the man, revealing a photo of Raelynn. "Do you know her?"

The man's smirk widened as he leaned forward slightly, a cruel gleam in his eyes. "Ah, her. My almost-al," he said with a chuckle. "So jerk took her away, though. Sha."

Elion's hands balled into fists, his whole body stiff with barely suppressed anger.

The man's smirk didn't waver. "What's the matter? Did you want her too? She slls... amazing. Bet she tastes even better. Maybe we can—"

He didn't get to finish. Elion's fist struck the man's face with force, sending him to the ground. The chains rattled as the man struggled to regain his balance, but Elion didn't stop. His foot ca down hard, kicking the man in the stomach, then again in his side. The man groaned but still managed a weak laugh.

"Touchy, aren't we?" the man spat, blood dripping from his split lip. "Don't get mad. You'll get your turn... but I saw her first."

Kade moved closer and passed Elion a black gun without a word. "Try this," he said casually. "It's a new bullet. Good for testing."

Elion didn't hesitate. He aid the gun with precision and fired two quick shots. The man scread as the bullets tore through his feet, and the sound of gunfire echoing in the room.

A third shot followed, hitting the man in his groin. The man's bravado lted into a raw, agonized cry as he twisted on the floor. Without breaking eye contact, Elion lowered the weapon, his face devoid of emotion.

"That was for what you said," Elion stated calmly, handing the gun back to Kade.

Kade took the gun back with a nod, his expression calm as ever as he watched the man squirming in pain. Elion crouched down, his piercing eyes locking onto the man's bloodied face.

"You'll regret the day you crossed ," Elion said. "Every single day from now on, you'll suffer. No food, no relief, and sunlight burning your skin. Kade, make sure he feels every second of it."

"Understood," Kade replied, his voice calm but with a slight edge of approval.

Elion straightened, brushing off his suit as if ridding himself of the man's stench. He turned and began walking toward the exit, his footsteps echoing against the cracked concrete floor. The man's screams followed him, fading into the night as he stepped outside and inhaled the cold air deeply.

His expression remained cold, anger still burning just beneath. Without sparing another glance at the building, Elion climbed into his car and drove off.
