At this mont, the abilities from the twelve hours of the Clock Tower flowed completely into the mind of the Black Cocoon, like water dissolving into water, the entire process unimpeded.

This amount of information, compared to the vast mories surging into the brain during body creation, was hardly worth ntioning. In just an instant, the Black Cocoon mastered the application of the twelve abilities and constructed a combat system in its mind.

"My goodness..." Black Cocoon raised his head and said with awe, "Does this ability really exist? Why would a muscle-bound guy like you need twelve abilities? Heaven is truly unfair."

"Are you done?" Gu Zhuo Case asked impatiently.

"Of course, I’m done."

Black Cocoon said as he extended a restraint belt shimring with a faint rcury sheen.

At the mont it touched the ground, a ten-ter-tall Clock Tower rose from the ground, standing at the center of the basent, followed by the sound of a clock ringing resounding faintly.

"Only ten ters?" Gu Zhuo Case frowned, "That’s a whole section shorter than , are you sure this broken thing can be used?"

"I understand, I understand it all. You’re the kind of rebuttal personality type they talk about online, Mr. Ghost Bell. Can’t you say a few more complints? Do you treat your kids like this too? Maybe praise your Blue Arc, your eldest son a bit, he might not do... alright, let’s not talk about him anymore, don’t look at like that."

Black Cocoon rattled on, leaning sideways against the surface of the Clock Tower.

Su Wei narrowed his eyes, staring at the towering Clock Tower, first stunned, then couldn’t help but adjust his glasses, with the corners of his mouth slightly curled upwards.

He thought to himself, indeed Gu Wenyu, this guy, is a downright genius among Superpower Users.

Whether it’s Gu Qiye, Gu Wenyu, or Su Zimai, in Su Wei’s eyes, they are all power users with extraordinary talent, which can be attributed to their parents—Su Ying was originally a genius exorcist, who was just wasted for years and lost resonance with the Celestial Driver; Gu Zhuo Case was even a Ti Series Catastrophe-level Superpower User, rare in history.

"Su Ying, although you want your children to live an ordinary life, their talents do not allow them to do so..." Su Wei took a sip of tea, murmuring sentintally.

"Let see, turning to twelve o’clock ans suspending ti for two seconds, right?" Saying this, Black Cocoon tapped the Clock Tower, and the huge clock hands began to move, then suddenly stopped, pointing straight up at the number "12."

Watching this, Gu Zhuo Case squinted slightly, seemingly not believing Black Cocoon could actually steal his ti-suspension ability.

However, at that mont, the Clock Tower resounded loudly. Amid the vibrating sound, a flood of rcury spread out, covering every inch of the basent floor, then the walls, and even the ceiling turned the sa color.

In the silent world, the rcury spread like moonlight across the ground, then flowed like a river, gradually engulfing everything.

Gu Zhuo Case’s expression froze on his face, his pupils shrank slightly, and his eyebrows almost knitted together;

anwhile, not far away, Su Wei was just placing his teacup on the table, with an undisguisable look of surprise on his face.

Black Cocoon raised his right hand, and in 0.5 seconds released the Restraint Incarnation, which took half a second to form, and then took half a second to bind Gu Zhuo Case with the restraint belt.

He wanted to try if he could steal a Clock Tower himself, and then let the incarnation steal one too, so he could suspend ti twice, and if once wasn’t enough to deal with the enemy, he could do it again.

Unfortunately, he failed.

[Hint: Body No.1 cannot steal the sa target’s superpower twice within 24 hours (whether it’s the clone or the main body, this rule is shared).]

"There’s a 24-hour cooldown period, so the main body and the clone cannot steal the sa superpower." Black Cocoon thought to himself, "What a pity, I wanted to steal two Ti Series superpowers for the finals."

In that instant, the rcury color enveloping the world receded as if the tide flowed back into the sea from the beach. The sound of the Clock Tower rang out again, making Black Cocoon scratch his ear involuntarily.

The flow of ti had only paused for 1.5 seconds, after all, the talent Black Cocoon stole was a clumsy version of the superpower and couldn’t extend the ti stop to two seconds like Ghost Bell.

But it was enough. In the ever-changing battlefield, having control over 1.5 seconds of ti was enough to alter the course—demonstrating the imnse power of Ghost Bell’s superpower, contrasted against the clumsy mind of its user.

Currently, in the perspective of Su Wei and Gu Zhuo Case, it seed as though Black Cocoon had instantly created a clone. Then that clone instantly used the restraint belt to bind Gu Zhuo Case’s body.

They were montarily stunned, then quickly realized that Black Cocoon had just suspended ti.

"Is that... a clone?" Su Wei squinted, focusing instead on the Restraint Incarnation released by Black Cocoon.

"It actually worked." Gu Zhuo Case muttered, "Looks like this bug isn’t as useless as I thought."

"Thanks for the complint." Black Cocoon said, "Aren’t you curious why my clone is the one binding you?"

Gu Zhuo Case looked at the crooked and yet incomplete Restraint Incarnation.

"What else do you want to do?" he asked.

"Actually, I wanted to try having my clone also steal your superpower, but I failed." Black Cocoon spread his hands, "I can’t consecutively steal a target’s power twice, and the clone is no exception."

"Quite a few crafty plans." Gu Zhuo Case took a deep breath, "Satisfied now, let go."

"Satisfied." Black Cocoon said as the Restraint Incarnation withdrew the restraint belt from Gu Zhuo Case, and then the entire body evaporated into a hot steam.

He clapped his hands and said, "The battle ti is at dawn on the 14th, I must steal your power once more before then, which ans the afternoon of the 13th."

Gu Zhuo Case was about to say sothing but was interrupted by Su Wei.

"Listen to him, Zhuo Case." Su Wei said, sitting on a wooden stool and opening the teapot lid.

"See in a day." Gu Zhuo Case draped a towel over his shoulder, walked to the tea table, and sat down slowly on the stool.

He bowed his sweat-drenched head, closed his eyes to rest, while Su Wei brewed tea quietly.

"Now it’s right, we’re comrades-in-arms." Black Cocoon nodded satisfactorily, "Enjoy the last peaceful monts, you two."

Just then, a white-haired teenager walked down the basent entrance passage, with a round, blue little shark sitting on his shoulder.

"We’ve arrived, Mr. Ghost Bell, Mr. Su Wei, and Mr. Fluttering Moth." Cezar smiled.

"Why am I Mr. Fluttering Moth?"

"Ah, because Yaguba often calls you that, so I slipped." Cezar covered his mouth.

"Forget it, whatever." Black Cocoon put his hands on his waist, "Since you’re here, show our two partners your little companion."

"We eagerly await." Su Wei smiled warmly, lifting the teapot and filling the cups with tea.

Gu Zhuo Case remained silent, head hanging.

From the start, he hadn’t held any hope for this kid and the inexplicable shark. He thought, no matter what, the task of revenge shouldn’t be entrusted to outsiders, especially when that outsider is just a teenager.

"This place is too narrow, insufficient to show off half of Sharkshark’s power." Yaguba crossed his fins, snorted coldly, "Can’t we switch to a better spot?"

"Half power is already enough." Black Cocoon said, "Quickly open their eyes."

"Why is this shark, like you, such a chatterbox?" Gu Zhuo Case casually asked, "Can’t you both talk less?"

"What did you say? Sharkshark has tolerated you for too long—!" Yaguba got angry, then excitedly leaped off Cezar’s shoulder, lunging forward. At that mont, its body rapidly expanded.

In the blink of an eye, it beca a magnificent entity, too large to fully see, opening its blood-red mouth towards Gu Zhuo Case.
