She had initially thought she was accompanying Qiao to play house with humans, not expecting things to escalate the mont they stepped in, much to her liking.
Caron never regarded humans as trustworthy creatures. To be the apex of the food chain yet seeking understanding and trust from your prey seed foolish. But Qiao was just that kind of foolish guy.
Qiao remained silent, only lowering his head, his expression growing increasingly grim.
At that mont, Su Wei spoke finally, "Co out, stop hiding," he said to the Black Cocoon.
Upon hearing this, the Black Cocoon slowly unlocked the camouflage form of his restraint belt, revealing himself.
Qiao glared coldly at Su Wei, then turned his gaze to a massive insect cocoon. In the next mont, the cocoon slowly opened, and a figure in a black trench coat and a dark red mask erged from within.
The Black Cocoon silently looked at Qiao, calmly and comfortably, waving a restraint belt at him.
