In the ability panel derived from "Binding Restraint Detection," Su Zimai's superhuman class was listed as "Exorcist."

And Ji Minghuan rembered the system ntioning during character creation that there were three main superhuman species in the world.

Back then, he had only seen "Esper" and "Anecdote Envoy," so it seed this was the missing puzzle piece. The last superhuman species was indeed "Exorcist."

"Heavenly Drive," a power unique to Exorcists—according to the description, it appeared to grow stronger through contracts with demons. But what exactly were demons? Could humans other than Exorcists see them?

Probably not. Otherwise, how would it make sense that for so many years, the only publicly known superhuman species had been Espers?

"Whatever… I’ll be hearing about Exorcists and Anecdote Envoys from the Instructor tomorrow anyway, no need to waste ti trying to figure it out myself."

With that, Ji Minghuan dismissed the lingering thoughts, opened his phone browser, and tapped on the official website of the Superhuman Association, China Branch.

The screen flashed white, then a login interface with a dark blue the popped up. In the center of the screen, bold text read: "Welco to the Superhuman Association," with an English subtitle: "Welco to the Superhuman Association."

The association’s hopage loaded up. The dark blue background remained, and the sheer number of categories was overwhelming.

The hopage automatically played greeting videos recorded by various popular Espers—Blue Arc was among them. These were ant to make the website feel more friendly. With just a glance, anyone could spot a favorite Esper. In this day and age, their fa outshone that of any celebrity idol.

Ji Minghuan casually skimd the layout and tapped on the top of the page, where a UN-issued Esper classification chart popped up.

.......

The chart was arranged from top to bottom based on the danger level of Espers, as designated by the United Nations:

T0 Tier: Restricted-level (According to Superhuman Association records, there has only ever been one Restricted-level Esper in history, and they have been confird dead. Their data is highly classified and not publicly disclosed.)

T1 Tier: Calamity-level (Standard: “Rainbow Wing mbers”—only those classified as Calamity-level by the Association are eligible for nomination into Rainbow Wing.)

T2 Tier: Dragon-level (The backbone of the Superhuman Association.)

T3 Tier: Overlord-level (Top-tier among Espers.)

T4 Tier: Quasi-level (Stronger than Harmless-level, but overall capabilities are average.)

T5 Tier: Harmless-level (Abilities are non-threatening. These Espers are not restricted by authorities and can work regular jobs. Example: soone whose hair can turn into "spinning bamboo dragonflies.")

......

"Only one Restricted-level Esper in history, and they’re dead... Don’t tell

they’re talking about ?" Ji Minghuan shrugged. "The way I lived in that research facility, it was no different from being dead."

Then he thought: if the Esper on the site is actually , then were the people in the research facility really from the Superhuman Association?

If that’s true, then when the day cos that I fight the researchers from that facility, wouldn't that basically be declaring war on the United Nations? When that happens, all twelve Calamity-level Espers from Rainbow Wing will definitely show up to stop .

Will I seriously have to take them on alone after getting hit with inhibitors? Honestly, sounds like a long shot. Maybe... I should figure out a way to drag this whole family in as backup?

If I play the "fake family" card right, leading them won’t be hard. Besides... they already resent Rainbow Wing because of Mom’s death, which makes it easier to stand on the sa front.

And if we count the people they could bring to the fight, it could beco a force to be reckoned with.

Thinking this, Ji Minghuan glanced at Gu Qiye’s back, then, intrigued, searched for his dear "brother’s" Esper codena—Blue Arc—in the site’s “Esper Archive.”

The screen flickered, and the search results popped up quickly.

He clicked into Blue Arc’s profile. It didn’t list Gu Qiye’s real na or identity, just his height, asurents, the surface-level effect of his Esper ability, and his position within the Association.

Blue Arc was classified as an A-rank Esper, which was already the highest level short of S-rank—those were eligible for Rainbow Wing. In other words, Gu Qiye was likely just one step away from being invited into Rainbow Wing.

But that one step might still take a long ti.

At such a critical point, it was no wonder Gu Qiye had been so tense last night—especially with soone like “Black Cocoon” suddenly appearing, soone who knew all his secrets.

Ji Minghuan lowered his gaze to check Blue Arc’s tier—four bold characters stood out: "Quasi-Calamity-level" (aning not yet at Calamity-level, but already at the threshold).

The Association’s estimated potential for him was "Calamity-level," implying that with enough training, Blue Arc had a high chance of reaching that tier in the future.

Thinking further, Ji Minghuan looked up the na of the evil Esper who had beaten Blue Arc severely the night before—Ghost Bell.

The archive showed a figure wearing a tal Z-mark breathing mask and a black cloak. Blood-red eyes glead coldly from the shadows.

This was Ghost Bell’s usual outfit—a notorious Esper criminal, and without a doubt, one of the Association’s S-rank wanted criminals.

The UN had assigned him the sa rating: Quasi-Calamity-level, just like Blue Arc.

"If my brother is on the sa level, then how did he get beat so badly… Was it because he didn’t understand Ghost Bell’s ability?"

With that thought, Ji Minghuan looked again at Ghost Bell’s Esper ability. The official record only offered a vague description: sothing about creating a massive clock tower and a giant humanoid shadow behind him. No specific effects were listed.

It seed that Ghost Bell’s powers were highly complex and varied. Even though Association agents had faced him many tis, they still hadn’t fully figured out how his ability worked.

At that mont, Ji Minghuan raised a brow and suddenly thought, “Let’s see what rank our rookie, Black Cocoon, is sitting at.”

He opened the "Wild Espers" section of the site, casually browsed, and quickly found the newly registered Esper from last night—Black Cocoon.

The archive photo showed a black cocoon hanging upside down under a billboard. Clicking in revealed a tall figure in a pitch-black mask and a black tailcoat, holding a clearly photographed copy of The Stranger.

Resting his chin on his hand, Ji Minghuan scrolled the page and looked to see what rating the UN had given to Black Cocoon.
