When Cizer first proposed playing an exhibition match to Cosimo, Yagubalu was actually sowhat apprehensive.

It thought to itself, 'Darkened Elentary Student, what on earth are you doing, you elentary student!'

But on second thought, the little shark felt relieved.

First of all, Li Qingping was still here, and he would never watch Cizer get beaten up. Secondly, this was just an exhibition match. Even if the Second Prince had murderous intentions, he would not dare to strike in front of the Queen and the citizens of the entire nation.

In conclusion, the only thing this exhibition match would affect was the pride of the two princes.

If this shut-in Third Prince, making his first public appearance in years, managed to defeat the Second Prince in a nationally televised exhibition match, it would definitely cause an unimaginable sensation. The Second Prince would likely be mocked for a very long ti.

Even if he lost, it did not matter. After all, no one had ever held any expectations for the Third Prince anyway.

'In a situation like this, where he already has the advantage of public opinion, it does not hurt to let Cizer act a bit willfully. It is better than watching him be a coward who does not dare to fight back,' Yagubalu thought.

However, there was another reason why it did not advise Cizer against it. Deep down, Yagubalu actually had an odd amount of confidence in him.

It was just that the source of this confidence was a bit subtle:

—They were both part of the sa species.

Of course, this did not refer to so conspiracy theory about Cizer being a "shark descendant," nor did it an that Yagubalu was a noble among sharks (although it believed that shark nobles were no lower than the nobles of the Garden World).

Rather, it ant...

Both of them were "Darkened Elentary Students."

The potential of Darkened Elentary Students went without saying. Ji Minghuan himself was the only Restricted-Grade Esper in the world, and Sun Changkong was the holder of a Mythic-tier Anomaly Fragnt.

This was enough to prove that the potential of the "Darkened Elentary Student" race left others in the dust, standing at the very pinnacle of the world.

This matter was also recorded in the interview logs of the Salvation Society.

Ji Minghuan: "Tutor, Tutor, what is the most powerful superhuman species in the world?"

Tutor: "Darkened Elentary Students."

Not only that, but the Darkened Elentary Students of this world seed to co with a built-in buff of "bringing misfortune to family": the incident of Elentary Student Number One violently beating the Refrigerator Demon was still fresh in everyone's minds, while Elentary Student Number Two had beaten her adoptive father and adoptive mother to death with a single strike of her staff when she lost control.

With the visible enhancent of multiple buffs, Ji Minghuan believed that even if Cizer were to suddenly experience a power burst in the arena and completely thrash the Second Prince, it would not be a strange occurrence.

'Cizer, you absolutely must not disgrace our Darkened Elentary Student clan,' Yagubalu thought, swishing its tail inside the Crystal Ball. 'Show off a bit of our racial buff, alright?'

At this mont, in the royal viewing stand.

The Second Prince, Cosimo, sat silently on his stone chair, locking eyes with Cizer for a mont.

Soon after, the forr let out a cold snort and looked away.

"Let's go," Cosimo declared as he rose from his stone chair. He drew two Cards from his Anomaly Compendium—a "Moving Staircase" and a "Pigeon ssenger."

"I hope you won't show rcy, brother," Cizer said calmly.

Cosimo's face twitched slightly before he forcefully crushed the two Cards.

A colorless ripple of light flashed by, and imdiately afterward, an almost transparent, floating staircase slowly extended outward from the edge of the royal viewing stand. A white pigeon carrying a mailbox on its back materialized on the back of his hand.

At the sa ti, a letter suddenly appeared in Cosimo's hand.

He traced his finger through the air, and glowing text manifested on the page, transforming into a line of plain black ink printed on the paper. He then slipped the letter into the mailbox on the pigeon's back. The pigeon flapped its wings and flew off toward the Host.

Inside the Colosseum, the crowd was still imrsed in the fleeting performance of the seven mbers of the Royal Court Squad, their hushed discussions buzzing in the air.

At that mont, the Host was looking at his script, just about to use his "Floating Loudspeaker" to deliver his closing remarks, when his attention was suddenly drawn to a Pigeon ssenger flying straight toward him.

'How troubleso. Can't you Garden World people just import mobile phones?' Yagubalu thought, lounging on its side inside the Crystal Ball. 'You don't know how to be prepared for danger in tis of peace or keep pace with the tis. No wonder you are going to be eaten by Shasha.'

The Host curiously inspected the mailbox on the pigeon's back and retrieved the delivered letter. Tearing open the envelope, he glanced at the contents. Imdiately, his eyes widened dramatically, and he announced in a trembling, joyous voice:

"Th-th-this... Just now, I received astonishing news! The Third Prince, Cizer, and the Second Prince, Cosimo, will be holding an exhibition match right here in the Colosseum!"

Amplified by the Anomaly Fragnt "Floating Loudspeaker," the Host's voice resonated throughout the entire Colosseum.

As soon as these words were spoken, a dead silence fell over the venue, quickly followed by an unprecedented eruption of cheers.

Li Qingping paused slightly, his footsteps slowly coming to a halt. He turned around, lifting his gaze toward the white-haired, cyan-eyed youth on the royal viewing stand.

"Your Highness Cizer..."

He murmured silently.

Up on the royal viewing stand, Caliliana instructed, "Cizer, Cosimo, the two of you must be careful and know your limits."

"I know, Mother," Cosimo replied expressionlessly in a low voice. "I won't bully my younger brother."

"I understand, Mother," Cizer smiled faintly, whispering, "I won't accidentally kill my older brother."

Lorenzo stiffened slightly upon hearing this, the smile on his face fading a bit.

Cosimo turned his head, glaring coldly at Cizer. "What did you say?"

"I said that I am not like you brothers... I would never lay a hand on my own family."

As his words fell, Cizer turned around and stepped onto the floating staircase without looking back, leaving behind a tranquil silhouette.

He descended step by step from the royal viewing stand into the heart of the Colosseum. The eyes of everyone in the audience were fixated on this white-haired, cyan-eyed boy.

Cosimo and Lorenzo exchanged a silent glance before Cosimo also mounted the floating staircase, following closely behind Cizer.

Lorenzo's lips curled up slightly. He slowly turned his head, looking toward the Crystal Ball left resting on Cizer's seat.

Inside the Crystal Ball, the rotund Norbe Shark seed to sense his gaze. It slowly turned its head, stared at him for a mont, and then flicked its tail, wiggled its rear at him, and made mocking, flatulent 'pfft' noises in the water.

Lorenzo was montarily stunned. By the ti he recovered, the Norbe Shark had already resud its serene deanor, quietly overlooking the Colosseum from within the Crystal Ball.

Not long after, Cosimo slowly descended into the Colosseum from the seemingly endless floating staircase.

He stood opposite Cizer, a distance of a hundred ters separating them.

The entire arena cheered wildly.

"It has been so many years. This is my first ti seeing the Third Prince."

"He looks so strange, completely different from the other princes."

"I heard the Third Prince is frail and prone to illness, which is why he always stays in the castle."

"Didn't everyone say that the Third Prince suffers from autism and is afraid to leave his bedroom? Being frail is just an excuse."

"Shh... You can't let anyone hear that."

Scattered whispers rose and fell in succession. It seed no one had anticipated such a scene. The last ti sothing like this happened was at a Celebration five years ago, when, after the performance of the previous generation's Royal Court Squad, the King suggested that the First Prince and Second Prince take the stage to show off their skills.

Years later, this scene was repeating itself inside the Colosseum. Under the sunlight, Cosimo's eyes were as azure as the ocean, and his long golden hair shimred radiantly.

In his heart, he was very confident about his younger brother's true strength.

Anomaly Fragnts were divided into four tiers: "Mythic," "Generational," "Common," and "Universal," with their power decreasing in that order. Every Anomaly Wielder could freely use the lowest tier, the "Universal Anomalies."

However, the higher-tiered Anomaly Fragnts were different; an Anomaly Wielder had to "Bind" a fragnt before they could utilize its power.

Different Anomaly Wielders could bind different numbers of high-tier fragnts. Based on this criterion, the ranks of Anomaly Wielders were broadly classified into the following five levels:

D-rank Anomaly Wielders (can bind at most one Common-tier or higher Anomaly Fragnt), C-tier Anomaly Wielders (two fragnts), B-tier Anomaly Wielders (three fragnts), A-tier Anomaly Wielders (five fragnts), and S-tier Anomaly Wielders (six fragnts).

Anomaly Wielders could only bind fragnts that they naturally resonated with. Once they reached their binding limit, the only way to bind a new fragnt was to unbind an existing one.

The Second Prince, Cosimo, was a C-tier Anomaly Wielder, a rank that allowed him to bind two Common-tier fragnts.

His younger brother, Cizer, was a D-rank Anomaly Wielder, the lowest level, which ant he could only bind a single Common-tier or higher fragnt.

That fragnt, naturally, was the Generational Anomaly—the "Christmas Sleigh."

Cosimo had seen Cizer summon the Christmas Sleigh on multiple occasions, riding it to soar through the skies.

In their eyes, the Christmas Sleigh was supposed to be a purely "Vehicle Anomaly Fragnt"—a type of fragnt analogous to "Architectural Anomaly Fragnts" like the Ancient Roman Colosseum, possessing no combat capabilities whatsoever.

Cizer, who only possessed this one Anomaly Fragnt, could naturally not be his opponent.

Amidst the tsunami and mountain collapse of cheers, both Cizer and Cosimo summoned their Anomaly Compendiums and drew their Cards.

The two Cards pinched between Cosimo's index and middle fingers were the Common Anomaly "Purgatorial Cerberus" and the Anomaly "Octoprism."

The "Octoprism" was the most versatile jack-of-all-trades fragnt among Common Anomalies: it could be used for both offense and defense.

Even the mbers of the Royal Court Squad would each bind an "Octoprism." On that day in the mirror Auction House, it was Li Qingping who used an "Octoprism" to protect the Second Prince. Otherwise, he would have died on the spot in Qi Yuanli's poker card explosion.

Not long after that, the mont Cosimo returned to the Garden World, he had soone procure an "Octoprism" for him. His talent was quite ordinary, so he spent a great deal of ti achieving Resonance with the fragnt, eventually turning it into his personal protective artifact.

He was confident that relying solely on this Octoprism would be enough to secure victory in this "exhibition match."

In the next second, the two crushed their Cards simultaneously.

A fierce blizzard blew in, violently whipping up Cizer's snow-white hair. Orange ripples of light flashed in midair as two Reindeer stepped out from the void.

They road amidst the oceanic snowstorm, the sleigh dragging behind them like a blood-red curtain.

On the other side, Cosimo unleashed the "Purgatorial Cerberus."

A canine beast with three heads, its entire body bathed in magma, burst from the ground and charged fiercely forward with a deafening roar.

At the sa ti, Cosimo crushed the "Octoprism." Eight prismatic lenses hovered just above the Cerberus's heads, flying swiftly toward Cizer.

At that instant, Cizer suddenly leaped up, landing perfectly onto the Christmas Sleigh just as it touched the ground.

The two Reindeer ca to a halt and trotted in place, their hooves scraping against the earth like a herd of bulls poised for action.

Every ti their hooves struck the ground, it caused the earth to rumble and whipped up a frantic blizzard. As ti passed, the layer of snow covering the Reindeer and the sleigh grew thicker and deeper, as if threatening to engulf the entire world.

"Is it... charging up power?" Up in the viewing stand, the First Prince, Lorenzo, frowned slightly.

"What..." Cosimo froze. He could feel the commotion coming from the other end of the Colosseum growing increasingly violent. At first, it just felt like an ocean tide rising, but it ultimately evolved into the sensation of an impending tsunami. The sky and earth subtly changed color as all the dust and sand within a radius of several dozen ters were swept into the roaring snowstorm!

The endless howling winds and heavy snow transford the sleigh and the Reindeer into a massive, fiery white serpent in the blink of an eye.

At the sa ti, this giant snake moved.

It slithered forward at an unprecedented speed, causing the entire Colosseum to tremble as if caught in a violent earthquake.

The lunging three-headed dog and the speeding Octoprism were simultaneously swallowed whole by the giant snake. In an instant, all traces of their movent vanished, much like a mountaineer plunging into a bottomless valley without producing even the slightest echo.

The reflection of the colossal snake crashing toward him like an avalanche filled his eyes. His pupils shrank to the size of pinpricks as his golden hair and robes were blown wildly into the air. His body trembled as he backed away, but no matter how far he retreated, he could not stop the gargantuan creature from closing in.

"Impossible... This is impossible..." Cosimo murmured hoarsely.

He stumbled and collapsed onto the yellow sand, pressing his elbows against the ground to force himself back up, but he simply could not do it. The colossal snow snake drew nearer, casting a shadow covering the sky and blocking the sun inside the Colosseum, completely subrging Cosimo's figure within it.

Cosimo's terrified screams were drowned out by the roaring wind and snow. He clutched his head with both hands and squeezed his eyes shut.

In the very next instant, a towering dark gold structure abruptly erected itself directly in front of the snow snake. It was none other than Luyisi's Anomaly, the "Tower of Babel."

The berserk snake ford by the sleigh roared as it slamd into the colossal tower. At this mont, it sounded as if thousands of bronze bells were ringing in unison. The structure of the sky-piercing tower shuddered violently amidst the booming impact, a massive crater gradually forming on its surface.

Several seconds later, the blizzard blanketing the Reindeer and sleigh slowly receded. At the sa ti, the massive phantom of the Tower of Babel vanished from the Colosseum.

Luyisi breathed a sigh of relief. Smiling wryly, he scratched his long brown hair and murmured with shifting eyes, "He really is not simple at all... this Third Prince."

Li Qingping stared blankly. "His Highness Cizer almost shattered the defenses of the Tower of Babel?"

The rest of the Royal Court Squad mbers also revealed expressions of sheer astonishnt.

As the sun-blocking shadow receded, Cizer's figure was fully exposed to everyone's line of sight.

He dropped down from the sleigh, his feet stepping firmly onto the yellow sand.

In the absolute silence where all was still, he walked expressionlessly toward the kneeling Cosimo, his lowered bangs obscuring his face.

A mont later, Cizer slowly stopped in front of Cosimo, staring down at him with an almost pitiful gaze before offering his hand.

"Brother... you lost."

Following that slender hand, Cosimo blankly raised his head. The white-haired boy stood with his back to the sun, his face a mask of indifference in the shadows, yet his cyan eyes shone brilliantly. Those eyes were so cold they seed capable of snatching away a person's very soul, gazing down at him like a wild beast preparing to devour its prey.

In the following second, a scattering of applause first broke the dead silence, soon dragging the rest of the audience into the uproar. Overwhelming cheers erupted from the spectator stands.

Cosimo gradually recovered his senses. Reaching out to grab Cizer's right hand, he slowly pulled himself to his feet.

Cizer suddenly smiled at him, looking exactly like the gentle boy he had always been. "I was only making a joke. Why were you so frightened, brother...?"

He paused. "When you chopped off Ikar's head, he must have been far more terrified."

With that, he pulled back his right hand, boarded the galloping Christmas Sleigh that rushed over, and drove the Reindeer back toward the royal viewing stand.

In the afterglow of dusk, he lifted his cyan eyes, silently staring at Lorenzo sitting up on the stand.

Under the blood-red canopy of the sky, the two locked eyes while the applause and cheers threatened to completely subrge the world.
