Chapter 629: Chapter 557 Alien Race Intelligence: Number of Forces = Strength

Several figures erged from the Abyssal Rift, not Demonized Beasts, but an Alien Race.

With their powerful auras, Awakeners within several kiloters felt uneasy, as if a heavy boulder pressed on their hearts.

The appearance of a few mbers of this Alien Race seed to have consud a substantial amount of energy from the Abyssal Rift, as the incessant surge of the Demon Tide abruptly ceased.

These beings from the Alien Race stood two to three ters tall, with limbs that, upon a strained glance, could roughly be identified as humanoid, yet their appearances were extrely bizarre.

The heads of these Alien Race mbers were enormous, nearly a third the size of their bodies, a grayish-brown hue, at first glance sowhat resembling fish heads, but covered in pustules. The overturned eyes and exposed sharp teeth added an elent of ferocious grotesqueness to their ugliness.

The limbs of this race were not long, but they were incredibly thick, covered in twisted, asymtrical scale armor. Despite their equally ugly appearance, their defensive strength was remarkable.

The Mado race,

Among the many Alien Races under the Sovereign’s command, they were renowned as a warrior race, with dominant combat power among their peers.

This ti, five powerful beings from the Mado race had descended upon Origin Star.

The leader held a trident-like weapon in both hands, its surface shimring with light, emanating a terrifying aura.

It was a Divine Weapon, and a Second Tier one at that.

The Transcendent commanding the Mado delegation, Fu Mile, was a supre genius of his race, having already ford six Source Power Cores, with a faint trend of rging between them, ready to break through to the Second Tier whenever he wished.

He had not broken through in order to reduce the energy consumption of crossing the Abyssal Rift.

The Mado race had spent the last few centuries fighting in another Battlefield on behalf of the Great Sovereign, thus missing the first wave of descenders to Origin Star.

Only when that Battlefield neared its end did the Mado race hastily withdraw a portion of their power to descend upon Origin Star, eager to share in the spoils.

The cost of a Transcendent’s Second Tier breakthrough through world barriers was more than their race could afford; even sending five Senior Transcendents ca at a price that inconceivable to ordinary races.

— In fact, if not for the world barrier of Origin Star gradually weakening, a few months earlier, it would have been impossible for the Mado race to send five Senior Transcendents through the Abyssal Rift.

Fu Mile’s mission was to establish a stable spatial passage on Origin Star, only then could more of his race’s warriors descend with less cost.

Establishing a stable spatial passage would require a vast amount of resources, and what he carried was only a core material, the rest had to be found on Origin Star.

“Relying only on a few of us, we can’t collect all the materials; even if we establish a force and have those human ants collect for us, it will take considerable ti, and currently…

If we continue to waste ti, we will have no part in the grand feast of dividing Origin Star.”

A glint of cunning flashed in Fu Mile’s dead-fish-like pupils, “Soon, envoys from the Upper Race will descend upon Origin Star, and I’ve heard that the envoy’s status is not low within the Upper Race.

We must complete the construction of the spatial passage before the envoy arrives and have our reinforcents in place. Only then can we perform well in front of the envoy.

And the fastest thod to gather materials, of course, is to seize them.”

“Although humans are weak, they are natives after all; nurous and with considerably large settlents, there will no doubt be many materials we need. Furthermore…”

So weaker Alien Races were his targets as well.

Fu Mile harbored no notions of camaraderie within the sa camp.

His gaze settled into the distance.

In his Perception, countless human auras converged, notably prominent.

That was undoubtedly a human settlent!

Its scale on Origin Star must be relatively high as well.

Fu Mile smirked slightly. Although it was his race’s first descent to Origin Star, he understood the importance of intelligence; months in advance, through side attacks or trading resources, he had acquired information from the earlier arriving Alien Races on Origin Star.

For instance,

In human settlents, population size symbolized strength.

A gathering area of a few hundred thousand people was considered dium-sized, easily wiped out with a flick of the hand.

Over two million indicated a substantial gathering area, capable only of stopping the weaker Transcendents.

He had heard of settlents with tens of millions, and though humans were weak, Fu Mile would not underestimate the potential for power that such vast numbers could produce.

Those would undoubtedly be among the top human forces, and even with his confidence, Fu Mile would not provoke such powers.

That distant settlent?

He observed closely, “It should be around two million in scope, not bad, not bad; perhaps we can gather all the materials at once.”

Disparagingly glancing at the ant-like crowd below, Fu Mile casually unleashed a wave of Source Power, transforming it into a sky-obscuring sharp edge that fell upon them. Then, without a second glance, he flew towards the distant location.

The other four Senior Transcendents followed closely.

Boom!

The ground was ravaged, and hundreds of Guardian Corps mbers holding rune shields joined forces to resist.

Their figures flickered, their faces turned deathly pale, but they had finally blocked that terrifying strike.

Looking at the Alien Race that had flown far away, now just a few small dots in the distance, the Commander couldn’t help but swallow hard, “We barely managed to block a casual strike from the enemy—what kind of horror have the City Lord and the others been facing all this ti?”

For a Transcendent, a few kiloters were traversed in the blink of an eye.

Parting the clouds, a massive Floating Island suddenly erged into view.

Fu Mile was stunned.

A human settlent built on a Floating Island? He hadn’t heard of such a thing!

However, the Mado race’s understanding of Origin Star was limited; they rely thought it was so human power that had inherited an ancient legacy—a Floating Island was nothing special.

He ascended higher and saw nurous Flying Demonized Beasts attacking the island. They flapped their wings, dodging from side to side.

On the island, towers and artillery launched bursts of colorful light, and from ti to ti, a Flying Demonized Beast would fall from the sky.

“Not bad for a human gathering place of two million people, and it’s suspended in the air; those war weapons alone are no threat.

But…”

He swept his gaze over the towers and artillery without feeling any sense of danger.

Understanding filled his mind,

Fu Mile gripped his trident-shaped Divine Weapon and slashed forward, creating a hundred-ter-long white Qi Slash that flew towards the towers that were firing continuously.

He seed to have already seen the human’s prideful defensive structures destroyed under his strike.

The swarming Demon Tide would flatten this fairly sizable settlent.

However,

Fu Mile suddenly widened his eyes,

The Qi Slash he released was like sinking into a swamp, its energy rapidly dissipating; after flying only a short distance, the wave beca weaker and weaker until it disappeared.

“What is this?”

“An Array?”

“I’ve heard that the Human Race is best at turning their settlents into a turtle shell.”

“Didn’t think such insignificant humans would have such ans…”

Although Fu Mile was sowhat surprised, he had just arrived in high spirits and had no intention of retreating.

After all, it was rely a gathering place of two million people…

Intelligence had inford him that only the human’s top forces could withstand the attacks of the Alien Race… and currently, two million was dozens of tis less than tens of millions.

If he were to fear even a dium-to-high-level human power, where would the Mado race put their face?

Retreat?

Out of the question!

Cunning plans?

Unnecessary!

A blunt charge would be sufficient!

“Follow on the charge, we’ll directly pierce through the humans’ defensive line.”

“If the humans’ Array can neutralize attacks of released Source Power, then we, we’ll just charge straight at them!

Let the humans know that the Mado race, we are all the finest warriors!”

Fu Mile roared,

His montum erupted, rings of air waves expanding outward, his entire being like a small orb of light, charging directly towards the Floating Island!

A kiloter’s distance, for a Senior Transcendent like him, was but a mont away!

One second,

Five seconds,

Ten seconds,

Fu Mile, watching as the Floating Island approached slowly, fell into deep thought.

“???”
