Chapter 522: Chapter 470: The Transformation of the Holy Body

Mortal enemies et, their jealousy redoubled.

Upon thinking of his vast enterprise ruined in a single mont, Nishimura Shonin was furious with rage.

His vision had reddened, and the eerie power within his body was eroding his soul.

Nishimura was well aware of his own transformation.

From human, he was becoming an Alien Race, he could feel the change in his own breath, his lifeline, too, was in soone else’s grip.

At that thought, Nishimura grew even more resentful.

It was all Kong’s fault! It was all the world’s fault!

Then let himself destroy the world!

As the transformation deepened, his rationality gradually lost, and even more ferocious power surged forth from the depths.

At this mont, Nishimura felt he could take on ten!

“Who is that guy?”

Nishimura’s expression was too obvious.

Grey Blade patted Kong’s shoulder and his gaze shifted back and forth between the two, his mind involuntarily concocting a 30,000-word drama, “Brother, it’s bad to lead soone on and then abandon them.”

Red Moon licked her bright red lips, finding it quite interesting.

Greta, in his silver armor with a large shield on his back, hands resting on a sword, seeing this, kindly advised his colleague, “His soul is more than half eroded, he’s beyond saving, give up.”

Nancy’s eyes widened with a mix of curiosity and confusion; she did not fully understand the others’ excited yet sighing expressions.

Eileen was more composed; she often stayed at the Territory headquarters and knew well that Kong was a cultivation fanatic extre in Sword Dao and unlikely to… um, her eyes blinked as she looked at the furious Nishimura, who wielded two tawny tachi covered in unrivaled Sword Light. It seed he and Kong were of the sa ilk; it was uncertain…

Slightly, she too beca curious and excited.

She circulated her Ice Frost Source Power to keep herself calm as countless blue light particles converged, and a Magic Wand almost as tall as her, thoroughly crystalline and pristine with a crescent moon shape at the top and a brilliant sapphire embedded in the center of the moon arc, appeared in her open hand.

The air temperature began to drop, and sparse snowflakes slowly fell.

Kong’s body stiffened slightly as he emotionlessly pulled his shoulder out of Grey Blade’s hand and moved two steps to the left.

Tang Yu saw his normally unchanging poker face twitch ever so slightly at that mont.

But unfortunately, the specific changes were indiscernible.

He could not judge.

It shouldn’t be…

Tang Yu believed he had so understanding of his followers… right?

Jokes aside, they had all made ready for battle.

On their side, counting himself, they had a total of seven with Transcendent Combat Power.

With other Transcendents scattered in flight, the Holy City was filled with billowing smoke, and the Alien Race Transcendents were dispersed as well. Before they were truly cornered, Tang Yu did not wish to back down.

And the approaching enemy had eleven Transcendent presences, two of whom were particularly strong, Senior Transcendents.

They could fight!

Magic· “Ice Snow World”!

A sky-blue layer of ice spread outwards, and in the blink of an eye, it transford an area of two or three kiloters into Eileen’s built Ice Snow World.

Tang Yu and the others only felt a sharp drop in temperature but were barely affected.

The approaching Alien Race Transcendents, however, had layers of white frost erge and were then abruptly freed from them. But their movents were limited, and their circulation of Source Power also slowed.

Choosing to battle on the ground was to let Eileen’s Ground Magic play its best role!

Boom!

Greta, holding a shield, took on a heavy blow from an Alien Race Transcendent, firm as rock, with sword light exploding from beneath the shield, directly striking at face.

The ten Transcendents, excluding Nishimura, all ca from the sa Alien Race.

In height and build, they were similar to humans, only their heads resembled those of lizards, and their arms were covered in scales, sowhat like those of Transformation series ability users.

The Lizard Clan was skilled in close combat, mostly attacking with claws, and so used polearms. They had no Divine Weapons, and their weapons were not necessarily harder than their fists, yet many Transcendents still preferred to use their favored arms.

Nishimura, in a fit of rage, paid no attention to anyone else and charged straight at Kong with sword light slashing forward before he even arrived.

Bang!

Sword Qi and sword light collided and shattered in the air.

Nishimura wielded the near-endless Source Power within him, his tachi striking again and again, Source Power Qi Flas attached to the blades, making them sturdier.

He steadily advanced.

At this mont, he appreciated the benefit of the bizarre power in his body, which made him stronger, even against Kong who was also a Transcendent…

His eyes suddenly widened.

The piercing Sword Qi broke through the Transcendent Force Field.

Unbeknownst to when, he had been surrounded by countless shadows of swords.

Boom!

A Lizard Clan Transcendent bent down and with a swipe of its claw, the air seed to tear like a curtain, striking at Eileen who stood behind.

Greta, holding the shield, suddenly appeared in front of the Lizard Clan Transcendent, and his First Tier Divine Weapon transford instantly into an imnse wall, blocking the attacks of several Lizard Clan Transcendents.

The shield vibrated intensely, quickly returning to its original size. Greta, with his palms numbing, retreated step by step, each crushing the stone pavent comparable to C-grade Alloy, its fragnts spurting out like bullets fired from a chamber.

That very mont,

A purple-black crescent slash, descending from above, struck the Lizard Clan Transcendent, breaking its field and shattering its scales, tearing open a large chunk in its chest and sending it blasting dozens of ters away, piercing through countless buildings.

Halfway through the air, a petite figure appeared.

She donned form-fitting black armor and a battle skirt, her hands tightly holding the “Calamity Greatsword,” with purple-black Power of Calamity enveloping her white arms and legs like a mbrane, her vertically cut black hair immobile as if waxed, and armor and skirt gleaming, terrifying power coursing through the sword.

Without a glance at the flung Alien Race Transcendent, she stepped on the air, her legs, hips, and waist all exploding with power, like a fiercely aggressive cheetah, the force transmitted through her wrist to the sword, slashing diagonally downward with a bang.

A tear appeared –

Tiny black cracks erged.

The expressions of the Lizard Clan Transcendents were severely contorted, with three Transcendents combining their strength, layering energies on top of one another.

Boom!

Air exploded instantly, shockwaves like a tide, a hurricane rolling outwards.

In mid-air, Nancy’s face flushed slightly before she was blown away by the exploding energy flow, flipping twice before steadying herself.

Three transcendent mbers of the Lizard Clan were smashed to the ground, the icy surface shattered, and the stone slab beneath sank into a pit. The slightly weaker ordinary transcendents, their arm veins burst open as they thumped to the ground, their expressions twisted in agony.

The stronger senior transcendent quickly regathered his force field, pushing off with his elbow, he catapulted himself out of the pit. At that mont, the broken ice crystal fragnts around him ca to life, linking head to tail, crisscrossing into chains, and clanking, they locked his hands and feet into spread-eagle shapes.

Seeing Nancy blown away and then glancing at the ice crystal chains, the elder of the Lizard Clan sneered coldly. Source Qi flas burst forth from his body, with high temperatures that twisted the air and could liquify even tal.

The ice crystal chains began to deform as he flexed and struggled against them, and the ice crystals snapped apart with a crackling noise.

But suddenly the shadow behind him stretched out, seizing his arms and legs.

A speck of cold light exploded.

The Lizard Clan elder felt his skin tighten, scales quivering as though they were about to be flipped over.

However, repeated surprises had slowed his reaction. Just then, his blood started flowing backwards, manipulated by so eerie power.

He thought of shattering his Source Power Core to dramatically increase his strength in a short ti, but he was a step too late.

“Puh—”

A transcendent Divine Weapon dagger penetrated his back.

The Lizard Clan elder let out a silent roar of rage, crazily concentrating his Source Power on his back.

The dagger kept trembling, Grey Blade uttered a sharp cry, and the Source Power lake lit afla too; the Divine Weapon dagger flickered with a dim glow.

Puh!

The dagger penetrated his heart, pulverizing its cavity.

When it was pulled out, there was no hesitation; it tore through scales, fur, fibers, and spinal bones. The lizard-like head tumbled and rolled onto the ground.

Thirty seconds later,

With their coordinated efforts, they had slain three transcendent mbers of the Lizard Clan, one of whom was a senior transcendent, the rest suffering varying degrees of light and severe injuries.

Tang Yu exhaled softly as the Hexagonal Crystal spinning behind him slowly faded away.

The domain he had opened was also gradually withdrawn.

Kong had already slain his opponent, his face expressionless.

Grey Blade was still making faces and gestures, aning, I left this person for you, I’ve truly cut off my emotional ties, that counts for sothing, right?

Eileen, gliding on the slippery ice surface, moved forward to collect the corpses of the slain transcendent Lizard Clan mbers, storing them one by one in her spatial Equipnt— even if they had found so transcendent Divine Weapons in the Holy City residence, these materials from the Alien Race shouldn’t be wasted.

As the Logistics Departnt manager, Eileen was quite aware of just how scarce high-level materials were in the Territory.

Only those in charge truly understand the value of firewood and rice!

She spoke, “We can take this opportunity to hunt so Alien Race transcendent mbers, as long as we swiftly change locations.”

At that mont,

The aftermath of the battle, with its shockwaves and dust clouds, still enveloped them, their figures hazy, but the unique aura of human transcendent mbers was very conspicuous.

Even when trying to contain it, they could not escape the perception of so sense-adept Alien Race transcendent mbers.

So, Tang Yu produced a bundle of scrolls in his hand.

“Advanced Concealing Scroll”, with a potent effect in concealing one’s aura and in shielding visual, auditory, and even spiritual perception.

It was one of the few advanced scrolls he currently possessed.

Boom!

In mid-air, a human transcendent, his body covered in blood, half an arm severed, gasping for breath, looked around.

More than a dozen Alien Race transcendent mbers had encircled him.

One minute earlier, his two transcendent companions had fallen in succession.

Now he was alone. Though he was a senior transcendent, he couldn’t hold out much longer and knew he couldn’t escape alive.

So then,

To take at least one down with him would break even!

To slay two would be a profit!

Boom—

Inside his body, on the lake of Source Power, a core that had been continuously absorbing Source Power cracked.

The injured human transcendent, enveloped in Source Power Qi Flas, instantly grew three feet taller, like a tiny fla about to extinguish, flaring up suddenly with added fuel, burning fiercely.

“He shattered his Source Power Core, retreat!”

Boom!!!

Before the voice fell, the human transcendent’s speed shot up several notches, and he surged forward to confront several Alien Race transcendent mbers.

Brilliant radiance erupted from within him.

Inside the Holy City, everywhere there were pursuits and escapes.

Human Race transcendents were weaker, but Alien Race transcendent mbers also suffered losses.

After encircling and killing a senior human transcendent, the elder of the Evil Eye Clan, ready to clean up other human transcendents, suddenly glimpsed from the corner of his eye a figure, sitting cross-legged on a terrace in the middle of the Sky-reaching Tower, appearing almost like a statue.

“Is that… the Holy Body?”

Spiritual Wave Ripples spread.

Eyes around him turned in unison.

Other Alien Race transcendent mbers nearby, upon hearing this, couldn’t help but look.

Spiritual waves surged violently.

Heavy breathing was heard.

Human and Alien Races differed in their aura, but their paths to ascension were the sa.

Tao Rhythm held a fatal attraction for the Alien Race as well.

The strongest transcendent mber of the Evil Eye Clan’s bloody vessels waved behind his eyeballs, and in a swoosh, he flew towards the Holy Body.

However, within a few hundred ters, he felt as if mired in mud.

The purple glow in his pupils shot out, but just a ter from his body, it completely dissipated, and the elder of the Evil Eye Clan pressed on, breaking through each resistance, inching forward.

In the blink of an eye, he was less than a hundred ters from the Holy Body.

anwhile, the Holy Body, which had sat withered and lifeless, seed to undergo a mysterious change.
