Tang Yu pondered for a mont, “I have a condition.”
“Please speak,” the adjutant replied earnestly.
“Don’t be so serious. I’m not asking for you to bring out anything. Just one request – after Lingshan Sanctuary is saved, the sanctuary and all of its survivors belong to .”
The adjutant frowned.
Lingshan Sanctuary was a key target closely monitored by the officials.
Several small sanctuaries, with Lingshan at the forefront, were dismissive and uncooperative about integration, which slowed down their work.
Without this Demon Tide, in a few days, they had planned to make an example out of soone.
Lingshan was that strongest chicken.
In the eyes of the Lingshan City Lord, Green Shadow was leading the flock. The military was planning a move, targeting Lindong, but what the Lingshan City Lord did not realize was that in the eyes of the military, Green Shadow was not just any leader but an eagle soaring high above.
The adjutant hadn’t expected Tang Yu to make such a demand.
But his contemplation was but a brief mont. Without the aid of the Green Shadow Sanctuary, the survivors of a breached Lingshan would be decimated.
“Agreed,” the adjutant answered with gravity, and, fearing that Tang Yu might not believe him, he added, “I have the authority at my level to agree to such terms. Shouldn’t we act fast? I’m worried Lingshan won’t hold much longer.”
Tang Yu revealed a satisfied smile and stood up, departing from the spectator seats.
As for the Lingshan City Lord’s opinion? Well… both Tang Yu and the adjutant very tactfully chose to ignore that.

In the wilderness, the terrain was complex, with uneven ground, yet the Floating Chariot sped along as if on flat land.
Tang Yu piloted the chariot with Eileen and Lorraine seated in the back.
The martial contest was not over yet, as the finals concluded, and the award ceremony was still to comnce.
As the host, Shay could not leave, and the official comntator, Luo Zhe, was similarly occupied.
The only ones truly able to lend a hand were Kong, Eileen, Lorraine, and Tylon… but Tylon, towering three ters tall, was too conspicuous, and he couldn’t fit into the Floating Chariot, so Tang Yu did not bring him along.
Kong had already left in advance to et with the military forces.
Three…plus him, four top combat powers, that’s enough. There’s no need to summon the Carn Brothers from Luoxia or the Xing Ling Sisters… The teleportation fee is anything but cheap.

They didn’t hide their presence, and the Ancestor Dragon warriors on the hill had spotted them from afar.
Kong had arrived here earlier than them, holding his longsword and leaning against a large tree, waiting in silence.
About twenty Ancestor Dragon warriors were setting up defensive positions on the hill, apparently planning to take advantage of the terrain for a fight.

Tang Yu’s gaze landed on the machine gun positions already set up in front, where lots of purplish-black vines had been smashed to bits, their juices flowing and scattered around the defensive line.
The surrounding Ancestor Dragon warriors knew that Tang Yu’s four-person team was in fact the main force.
A captain-looking warrior explained, “These are Devil Vines. Their sap emits a special sll, not irritating to humans, but quite strong to Demonized Beasts. It effectively masks our scent.”
“We’re very close to the Demon Tide below. Without the Devil Vines to mask our scent, many Demonized Beasts might be attracted to us, which would be detrintal to our defensive setup. When we finish establishing our positions and open fire on the Demonized Beasts, it won’t attract too many at once.”
So that was it.
Tang Yu stood on the hill, looking down.
The location of Lingshan Sanctuary was close to the edge of Lin City, adjacent to the provincial road. Following the road would lead to two neighboring cities, making it a critical thoroughfare.
At this mont, in front of the earthen wall built around Lingshan Town, there was a dense wave of the Demon Tide, their roars still loud even as they reached this place.
So Demonized Beasts were caught in traps, others collided with the earthen walls, and so agile ones had leapt onto the walls, engaging in combat with Awakeners.
Light and heavy machine guns, shotguns, assault rifles… guns of various types spat out flas, trying to block the approaching Demonized Beasts. However, it wasn’t long before the gunn ran out of bullets and had to resort to homade spears or ordinary bladed weapons, standing on the walls and fighting the Demonized Beasts hand-to-hand.
Only a very few elite Awakeners held Demon Slayer series swords and knives produced by Green Shadow. These individuals were the main force against the Demon Tide, yet in the face of the overwhelming swarm, they still struggled, and the earthen wall defenses were dangerously close to failing.
Occasionally, an Awakener was wounded or killed.
It wasn’t long before the armored vehicle driven by the adjutant finally caught up.
He hurried up to the hilltop defensive position, already looking a bit weary.
Seeing that Tang Yu and the others were already waiting there, the adjutant breathed a sigh of relief, and seed much more spirited.
His gaze quickly swept over the front of Lingshan Sanctuary, and he made a quick assessnt of the situation:
“It seems Lingshan Sanctuary won’t hold out much longer, we need to act fast…” he turned to look at Tang Yu, “Director Tang, for this confrontation with the Demon Tide, we will fully cooperate with you. Do you have any tactical arrangents?”
“Tactics?” Tang Yu touched his chin, his eyes sweeping over the black tide, “Don’t be a coward. Just do it!”
