Yun Yisheng was left speechless by her words, and finally could only turn to Lu Xize for help.
Lu Xize, upon receiving his gaze, couldn’t help but chuckle softly, raised his eyebrows, and after a mont’s thought, said, "I took on a patient a few days ago, he also loves playing gas. I even played a few rounds with him; his skills are genuinely impressive. I’ll introduce you guys soday. He’s about your age and quite a handso guy."
Both Yun Yisheng and Yun Xi were confused by his words, and Yun Yisheng asked, "Sure! But, bro, are you a doctor?"
Although he had t Lu Xize several tis — due to the incident that left his head wounded — in the hospital and police station, he truly didn’t know what he did. He only knew he was the second son of the Lu Family, but not involved in the family business. Everything else was a mystery.
"Pretty much, but I’m a psychologist."
Upon hearing this, Yun Xi froze for a mont, staring at Lu Xize as if she understood why he was doing this.
"Oh! That’s pretty cool." Yun Yisheng nodded. He didn’t have anyone in his circle with such a profession, so he found it quite novel.
Lu Xize chuckled while glancing at Yun Xi. From her expression, he guessed she must understand his reason for this — Yun Yisheng’s biggest issue was his rebellious nature, always going against them. Mostly due to the lack of family presence, no one was there to guide him, so he grew up like a stray, doing whatever he liked. The personality developed over many years isn’t easy to change.
Given the current situation, psychological treatnt is indeed the best option. But if they directly suggested he see a psychologist, he’d surely reject it. It’s better to have him go willingly under such a natural, agreeable circumstance. Plus, Lu Xize himself is a psychologist — it’s free, so why not?
"I think I could have ten more skewers." Yun Xi silently sat for a while, and seeing the pot with only two or three skewers left, raised her hand to point and said.
Yun Yisheng understood his sister’s foodie nature all too well — if she suddenly ntioned food, it ant things were looking promising. So, hearing her words, his eyes lit up as he raised an eyebrow: "Bro, my sis said she wants more to eat."
Lu Xize couldn’t help but laugh. He called the waiter and ordered twenty more skewers, then glanced at Yun Xi: "If it’s not enough, we’ll order more, alright?"
Yun Xi nodded with satisfaction: "Yes, great."
"Sis, about moving to bro’s place..."
"Fine, I agree. Tomorrow, I’ll talk with the school, but don’t stay too long. You’ll disturb others. You’re grown now, keep your skin thin for once, and don’t act shalessly all the ti, okay?"
"Alright, I promise not to cause trouble." At this mont, Yun Yisheng was imrsed in the joy of enjoying the ga room and telescope, completely unaware that he had been set up by the two of them, and willingly stepped into the trap.
Imagine, one day in the future, if he found out, how broken and speechless he would feel.
After the al, Lu Xize still paid the bill. As they left the restaurant, Lu Xize smilingly asked, "Do you rember the wager we made in the gaming area today?"
Yun Xi paused for a mont upon hearing this, then looking at his smug face, snorted disdainfully and said, "Hmph, never forget. Don’t worry, I, Yun Xi, am not soone who cheats. It’s just a month’s worth of als! Do I look like I can’t afford it?"
"What wager? What wager? Can I join?" Yun Yisheng chid in eagerly, joining the fun and laughed as he asked.
Yun Xi threw him a blank look: "Does it have anything to do with you? Adults are talking, kids shouldn’t butt in."
"Ugh! Sis, the one who lost was you against bro, not . Don’t take it out on ! I’m innocent. I was just curious and wanted to join in on the month of als, that’s all."
"Dream on! You always want to mooch off everyone’s als. Get lost, it’s late, hurry back to school."
"Weren’t we eating before going to bro’s place?" Yun Yisheng looked at Yun Xi, confused.
"Are you thinking of staying over at his place tonight?"
"No classes tomorrow." Yun Yisheng gazed at her sincerely, his eyes full of innocence and purity.
