As she strolled under the camphor trees lining the street, the cool winter breeze gently tousled her hair. Lu Xize chuckled softly, feeling his heart race faster than before.
"What are you doing? Co on! Don’t just stand there not moving!" After walking a short distance, Yun Xi noticed Lu Xize standing still with a warm smile on his face, so she stopped, annoyed, and urged him.
Lu Xize snapped out of his thoughts, raised an eyebrow, and quickly caught up, playfully patting her on the head. "Let’s go! No matter where you want to shop today, I’ll accompany you."
"Wow, you’re so generous today?"
"I’m risking my life to accompany a gentleman."
"Gentleman?"
"Uh, how about I risk my life to accompany a lady then?"
"Deal, let’s go! Today I’ve got a little brother to carry my bags, hehe, not bad. Why don’t you park the car at the square ahead? Then we won’t have to walk so far back later!"
"Should I go get the car, and you’ll wait for up ahead?"
"Sure, call when you’ve parked the car!"
"Alright, don’t wander off too far, otherwise I won’t be able to find you later, got it?"
"Mm-hmm, got it! Hurry up then! And let tell you, don’t keep waiting too long, or you’re dead at."
"Relax! I won’t, I’ll call you as soon as I’ve parked the car."
"Okay, I’m going to start shopping now!" Yun Xi said, waving cheerfully, and with small, happy steps, she began her delightful shopping spree.
It had been ages since she’d gone shopping, mainly because there was no one to accompany her, and her company was too busy this quarter, leaving her no ti to shop.
After visiting a brand costics store, her hands were laden with two bags. She then visited a clothing store, but didn’t see anything she liked, so she gave it a quick look and stepped out, heading to the next clothing store. However, after visiting two or three more stores without finding anything satisfying, she went directly to the place she’d agreed to et Lu Xize.
After waiting for about two or three minutes, Yun Xi saw Lu Xize’s tall figure jogging over from across the street, dodging vehicles as he looked around, while waving at her with a smile.
Watching him run over, Yun Xi couldn’t help but laugh—a little goofy sotis, wasn’t he!
It’s such a sha for soone with such good looks, truly a pity.
"What’s up?" Lu Xize ca over to her and noticed her laughing so joyfully. He looked at himself to see if there was anything amiss.
"Nothing, nothing’s wrong." Yun Xi shook her head with a smile. "Co on, let’s go shopping!"
"What have you got in your hand?" Lu Xize stood beside her, noticing the two shopping bags she was holding.
"Hehe, a lipstick, an eyebrow pencil, a lip mask, and a..."
"Alright, alright, I’ve only been gone a little while, and you’ve already bought so much? Impressive! No wonder shopping desires are the scariest among you won."
"I spent my own money, does it have one cent to do with you? What’s the point of your sarcasm?" Yun Xi pouted disapprovingly, huffed, and strode forward.
Lu Xize quickly caught up. "Alright, alright, I won’t make comnts, I won’t make comnts. Buy whatever you want, okay?"
"Okay."
As they continued shopping, Lu Xize’s hands went from holding nothing to carrying five or six bags. Actually, Yun Xi wasn’t much of a shopping enthusiast, but today, seeing Lu Xize accompany her, she shopped because she was in the mood, eventually getting quite carried away.
When it got close to six o’clock, Lu Xize couldn’t carry any more, so he put the things in the car. As they passed by a gaming center, Yun Xi stopped. During her leisure ti, she enjoyed playing gas, so she looked at Lu Xize with a aningful gaze.
"What? Want to play a few rounds inside?"
"Yeah, how about a PK challenge?" Yun Xi raised her eyebrows, smiling mischievously.
"Bring it on! Do you think I’d be scared of you?" Lu Xize, seeing her disdainful look, laughed lightly, scoffing.
"Ha! Alright then! Loser treats to als for a month, no cheating!"
"Oh, two months even! Co on!" Hearing her arrogant tone, Lu Xize’s disdain grew even more as he was utterly confident.
