Lu Shishu pursed her lips, clearly half-believing the words he said, the gentleness on her face long gone, leaving only indifference.

Nan Jiayan knew that at this mont, she had a lot of hostility towards him, so he didn’t force her to believe, just smiled, looked at the little fellow lying at her feet, and softly called, "Buxia, you’re back."

"ow~"

At Nan Jiayan’s gentle call, the little fellow at her feet got up, stretched lazily, and ran leisurely to his side, rubbing against his leg.

"This is... your cat?" Lu Shishu asked curiously as she saw the cat being so affectionate with him.

"Yes, I was just cooking, and the door wasn’t locked. This little fellow opened the door and ran out by herself. If I hadn’t seen the door suddenly open, I wouldn’t even have known she had run out." Nan Jiayan nodded with a smile, and after speaking, he bent down intending to pick her up.

However, to his surprise, this little fellow was very agile. Just as he was about to pick her up, she darted straight into Lu Shishu’s house.

"Buxia..." Nan Jiayan called out in surprise, but before he could finish his sentence, the little fellow had vanished.

Lu Shishu was also taken aback. The door of her house had been open just now, and she hadn’t closed it, not expecting that the little fellow would just run in directly.

"Um... sorry, this little one is always so familiar with everyone and very clingy, so..." Nan Jiayan gave her an awkward smile, pointing towards inside her house.

Lu Shishu frowned in displeasure. She didn’t want too much interaction with him, so she turned directly back into her house: "Wait outside, don’t co in."

"Okay."

When Lu Shishu went inside, she didn’t close the door. After changing her shoes at the entrance, she started to search the whole house for the cat.

But after searching around the living room, she couldn’t find it. She also checked the kitchen, but still didn’t see it, finally having to call out: "Kitty, where are you?"

"ow~"

Just as she finished speaking, she heard the cat respond to her, and Lu Shishu was montarily stunned. Her gaze fell on her bedroom, and she quickly walked in, looked around, and found that the cat sohow climbed up to the top of her cupboard, very high up.

"How did you get up there? Co down, it’s very dangerous." Lu Shishu looked at her innocent look, feeling a bit helpless, quickly waved her hand, and called out with an incredibly gentle tone.

"ow~"

The little fellow responded with another ow but remained still on top, showing no intention of coming down, even raising her little pink paw to lick it, giving herself a little wash.

Lu Shishu wanted to coax her down, but the little fellow wouldn’t listen. Even if she did move, it was just to shift position on the cupboard and continue lying down.

After a stalemate of about five or six minutes, Nan Jiayan patiently waited outside without showing any signs of urgency. But after all, it was his cat, and he knew her well. Seeing that she hadn’t brought the cat out yet, it seed that the little fellow was being mischievous again. The corner of his mouth couldn’t help but lift into a slightly cunning arc.

Sure enough, after a little over two more minutes, Lu Shishu was completely defeated by the little fellow. She ca out with a cold face, displeased: "I can’t get her down, you do it yourself."

Nan Jiayan laughed again at her words, raised an eyebrow, walked inside, surveyed the layout of her house, which was quite similar to his, just differently decorated, with an artistic touch and simple feel, though a bit cool and aloof.

"Where?"

"On top of the cupboard in my room." Lu Shishu gestured with her eyes, answering calmly.

Following her gaze, Nan Jiayan’s eyes deepened slightly, then he walked into her room with a smile, glanced around quickly, and saw the little fellow leisurely perched on the three-dinsional cupboard by the door specifically used for art pieces and photo fras. She seed to treat the cupboard as her own cat tree, frolicking joyfully on the top, showing no intention of coming down.

Looking at her lively deanor, Nan Jiayan felt a bit helpless and let out a silent sigh, speaking warmly: "Buxia, co down quickly, who let you run in here."

"ow~"

The little fellow owed once, clearly showing no desire to co down.

Lu Shishu leaned against the room door fra, watching him and the cat up there, her face slightly cold, just observing how he would get the cat down.

Although Buxia was a clingy little cat, she was also quite stubborn. No matter what Nan Jiayan said, she just wouldn’t co down. Finally, Nan Jiayan sighed helplessly, and his tone beca less gentle, with a hint of firmness: "Buxia, if you don’t co down, there won’t be any fish treats for you today! I’ll give them all to Biuqiu later."
