Jiang Baizhou took her recomndation, and after they sat down in the restaurant, the waiter approached them enthusiastically. He sowhat rembered Cen Jin, after all, it’s hard to forget such a beautiful Eastern lady. After greeting her, he finally noticed Jiang Baizhou, who ca along with her, and put on a very surprised face, exaggeratedly saying, "Oh! My God, such a handso guy, is he your boyfriend? Why didn’t he co yesterday?"

"This is my husband, he just arrived last night." Cen Jin offered a sweet smile, answering openly without any intention of hiding.

"Wow! You’re married?" The waiter widened his eyes in surprise, clearly finding it a bit unbelievable.

Cen Jin nodded with a laugh, playfully shrugging her shoulders, "Yes."

"Congratulations, truly an enviable couple, I wish you eternal happiness and a healthy baby soon."

"Thank you." After expressing her gratitude, Cen Jin turned to Jiang Baizhou and asked in Mandarin, "Have you decided? What do you want to eat?"

But Jiang Baizhou had no intention of looking at the nu; it sat neatly on the table, but there was a slight smile in his cool eyes, and a touch of warmth on his indifferent face.

Seeing his expression, Cen Jin understood that it was a sign of his good mood and slight smugness, and she knew exactly where his smugness and pleasure ca from. Unable to hold back a light laugh, she sighed helplessly, "In that case, I’ll order then!" After that, she turned to the waiter, ordering the sa dishes they had yesterday, and got him a cup of coffee as well.

Once the food arrived, Cen Jin picked up a dessert spoon, scooped a bit of cake, and offered it to his mouth, "Try it. This is really good. Yun Xi even took so back to the hotel to eat after trying it yesterday."

Jiang Baizhou pursed his lips, glanced at the spoon with cake on it, but showed no intention of biting in. He had never been a fan of sweets.

Cen Jin naturally knew this too. Her mom’s shop specialized in baking, with many little desserts, but Jiang Baizhou rarely ate them. However, this dessert, she truly recomnded to him in good conscience, so when his skeptical eyes t hers, she responded with a bright smile.

Seeing this, Jiang Baizhou was speechless for a while but eventually opened his mouth slightly to accept her recomndation.

The cake lted in his mouth, sweet but not cloying, with just the right level of sweetness and the right texture. It made Jiang Baizhou raise an eyebrow in satisfaction, signaling to her with his eyes, "Hmm, another bite."

"Pft." Cen Jin burst out laughing, "Addicted, huh? Is it good?" While her words teased him, she still scooped another bite for him with the spoon.

Recalling his earlier hesitance, with furrowed brows as if heading into battle, she thought, sotis the body is more honest than words, like now.

After breakfast, Jiang Baizhou paid the bill, and the two of them strolled hand in hand down the pleasant street. Cen Jin suddenly rembered to ask, "Oh, by the way, I’ve been aning to ask, are you going back with tomorrow? Did you get a ticket?"

"No." Jiang Baizhou tilted his head and replied confidently.

Cen Jin was at a loss: "Tickets have been hard to get these days, are you not going back tomorrow?"

Hearing this, Jiang Baizhou stopped in his tracks, lowered his gaze slightly in thought, "Cancel your ticket."

"Huh?" Cen Jin was a bit dumbfounded, blinking in confusion as she looked at him.

"I bought tickets for the afternoon of the 9th." Jiang Baizhou spoke with a calm and relaxed expression, his face full of leisure, and after a slight pause, he added, "Two tickets."

"You... when did you buy them?" Cen Jin was so surprised she almost dropped her jaw.

"I bought them along with mine."

Cen Jin couldn’t help but smile wryly, pouting a bit, "Alright then! Since you’ve bought the tickets, I’ll cancel tomorrow night’s ticket later, but I should let Ling Ran, Yun Xi, and Yun Qi know."

"Mm."

As the two walked hand in hand, chatting and laughing back to the hotel and heading towards the elevator, a familiar loud female voice suddenly called out, "Nie Cenjin, why didn’t you answer the phone? We thought you disappeared! We almost reported you missing."

Upon hearing this, Cen Jin turned to see an agitated Yun Xi striding towards her, but as she got closer, she seed to notice Jiang Baizhou. Her steps suddenly halted, eyes widening as she stared at him, and after a mont, she rubbed her eyes in disbelief and murmured, "Jiang... Jiang Baizhou? Am I dreaming or hallucinating? Ling... Ling Ran, did... did you see this?"

Ye Lingran ca over, also a bit surprised, but not as exaggerated as Yun Xi. Once she regained her composure, she smiled teasingly, "I knew sothing was up when you were nowhere to be found this morning. Turns out your husband arrived, and you two went out for breakfast without telling us, leaving us worried and thinking sothing happened to you!"

"Uh..." Cen Jin felt a little embarrassed by their comnts and instinctively reached for her bag, only to find it empty. That’s when she rembered, "Ah, I left my phone in my bag when I went out and forgot to take it with , sorry for worrying you all."

"It’s alright, as long as you’re okay." At this ti, Yun Qi also walked over with a gentle smile, and after exchanging glances with Jiang Baizhou, nodded in greeting, "Doctor Jiang, we et again."

"My pleasure." Jiang Baizhou nodded back, casually tossing out a couple of words.

"Jiang Baizhou, when did you arrive? Are you two planning so clandestine operation? Secretly going on dates and not telling us." Yun Xi snapped out of her surprise, marched over, and gave Jiang Baizhou a good-natured slap on the shoulder, huffing at Cen Jin too.

Cen Jin chuckled and explained one by one, "He arrived last night, just after Ling Ran and Yun Qi went to dinner, that’s when he arrived. I found out then, and we got up at seven this morning and didn’t call you because we didn’t want to wake you!"

"Hmph, that’s the sa excuse you gave last ti when you and Ling Ran went for breakfast." Yun Xi clearly wasn’t buying it, but after she said it, she seed to catch a detail, paused, and quickly turned her head to look at Yun Qi and Ye Lingran by her side, "Hey, brother, Ling Ran, you two went to dinner last night? Hehe, who asked who out? What did you eat? How far did it go?" Saying this, she edged closer to Ye Lingran with an increasingly mischievous smile.

For Yun Xi’s single-minded curiosity, no one present could help but be amused. Monts earlier she was blaming Cen Jin for not calling her to breakfast, and now she was being led on by her intense curiosity and gossip spirit, eagerly seeking details.

She really missed her calling not becoming a tabloid reporter, what a waste doing fashion design!

Truly a waste of talent.
