The two of them had been shopping at the mall for a little over an hour. Cen Jin picked out so household items and a few delicate and tasteful ho decor pieces. The number wasn’t much, but each was beautiful and quite unique.
"Anything else you want to buy?" Jiang Baizhou looked at the items in the cart, then turned his head towards her.
"Hmm..." Cen Jin thought seriously for a mont, initially planning to shake her head, but suddenly a sly look flashed in her eyes. A mischievous smile crept up her lips: "You said not long ago that you were out of money, and your account was empty. Are you sure that’s okay?"
Jiang Baizhou raised an eyebrow and looked her in the eye: "Last ti, soone said they’d support . Rember that?"
"Of course I rember!" Cen Jin replied with conviction: "But saying is one thing, every ti we go out for a al or shopping, you never let spend my money, this..."
"Buying things and eating out should be my responsibility, but you can support in private; I don’t mind."
"In private?" Cen Jin looked at him in surprise: "How exactly do you want to support you?"
"What do you think?"
"..."
Cen Jin rolled her eyes at him, realizing he’d beco more fond of playful banter recently.
"Don’t worry, I can still afford to support you for now. I won’t let you suffer with or drink the northwest wind. The money I owe Xi Ze isn’t urgent, it can be repaid slowly. So, you should keep your money saved properly. Who knows, one day, I might really need you to support ." Seeing her speechless expression, a trace of delight flashed in Jiang Baizhou’s eyes. He pulled her gently into his embrace, whispering softly in her ear.
Cen Jin’s ears itched from his breath, instinctively pulling back, but his grip was too strong to break free. She helplessly patted his chest: "Stop it, we’re in public, so many people are watching! Let’s go! Ti to pay!"
"Okay." Jiang Baizhou’s eyes were filled with an even deeper smile, not loosening his grip on her waist in the slightest, and walked with her towards the cash register.
After buying the items, Jiang Baizhou pushed the shopping cart with one hand tightly holding her jade-like hand. As they passed by the jewelry counter store, Jiang Baizhou glanced up at the sign. The nearest counter store to them happened to be Tiffany. After pondering for a bit, he asked, "Want to go in and take a look?"
Cen Jin followed his gaze to the nearby jewelry stores, raising her eyebrows. They had just been discussing picking out an engagent ring a couple of days ago, and she nodded: "Sure, let’s take a look!"
Once they entered the store, a sales assistant warmly greeted them: "Hello, is there anything you two need?"
"We’d like to look at so rings." Cen Jin looked at the dazzling counters and smiled at the sales assistant: "We’re just browsing for now."
"Alright, feel free to look around. If there’s anything you like, don’t hesitate to call . I can help you try it on."
"Okay."
Jiang Baizhou’s sharp eyes swept over the counters and finally landed on a pair of diamond rings placed on display in the far-right case. His gaze lingered slightly. Seeing how long his eyes stayed on them, the sales assistant smiled and approached to introduce: "Sir, you have a keen eye. This pair of diamond rings can be said to be a one-of-a-kind treasure in our store, newly released, with a unique and innovative design by the famous jewelry designer Camille.
