This kiss was like the gentle warmth of spring sunlight seeping into his icy heart, and also like a breeze brushing through colorful bubbles beneath the azure sky of sumr, stirring emotions in his otherwise still heart, causing little ripples.

Jiang Baizhou was stunned for quite a mont before coming to his senses, looking in the direction she left, only to find her figure had already disappeared. The corners of his lips curled into a clearly smug smile.

He never expected her to suddenly take the initiative to kiss him; it was indeed an unexpected gain. The usually composed him had a rare mont of pride, and he couldn’t quite suppress the joy welled up in his heart, making his eyes sparkle.

Who knows how long he stood there, maintaining the smile on his face, when suddenly a hand landed on his shoulder and patted it, not too heavy but not light either.

Jiang Baizhou turned his head and saw Miss Yu Hui’s young-looking, seemingly hydrated face ca into view. Next, his ear caught her slightly disdainful and incomprehensible voice, "Why are you standing here grinning like an idiot? Did you see a ghost in the middle of the night?"

Seeing this, Jiang Baizhou’s smile gradually faded from his face; he quickly returned to his usual indifferent expression and turned directly towards his ho villa, completely ignoring Miss Yu Hui without even intending to acknowledge her.

Yu Hui, seeing him walk past her, glared angrily, imdiately chased after him, and patted his back with obvious force, which was much stronger this ti, causing Jiang Baizhou to frown and squint at her.

"You brat, you’re increasingly treating with less regard. I’m talking to you, and you treat it like passing wind." Miss Yu Hui disregarded his displeasure and vented her frustration directly.

"You are overthinking." Jiang Baizhou replied casually, pushing open the gate in front of the courtyard, finding the garage door open on the left, inside parked a silver rcedes. His steps paused instinctively, deliberately looking up to see the lights in the villa were all on, then turning to face Miss Yu Hui again, "Mom, Dad’s back?"

Miss Yu Hui nodded, moving ahead of him, "Yes, he ca back this afternoon."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Baizhou continued his steps into the villa, changing his shoes at the entrance before heading to the living room, where Jiang Yuyang, sipping tea, looked over at him, eyes under the glasses kind and amiable, smilingly said, "Back."

"Mm." Jiang Baizhou responded lightly, walking over, "Dad, why did you co back? Is the restoration at Bo Academy completed?"

"No." Jiang Yuyang gestured for him to sit down, glancing at Miss Yu Hui bringing a cup of red tea from the kitchen, smiled, "I heard from your mom that you’re together with Cen Jin, so I ca back to take a look."

Jiang Baizhou sat on the single sofa, not speaking, continuing to listen.

"I originally wanted to call you, but your mom said you’ve returned to the school for duty these days, might be a bit busy, thought it’s better to co back, as it’s not very far, only three hours’ drive." Jiang Yuyang sipped tea, "Cen Jin has grown up under our watch, from childhood to adulthood, I’ve treated her like my own daughter, she’s a few months younger than you, I’ve always thought..."

"Don’t tell those things about Bai Zhou treating Cen Jin as a sister, or you can roll back to Bo Academy; if this daughter-in-law just flew away upon entering the door, I’ll make you pay for it." Before Jiang Yuyang could finish speaking, Miss Yu Hui put down the red tea cup beside him, patted his arm, loudly interrupting him.
