Lu Xize heard the light cough and suddenly felt his scalp tingle, followed by a chill. They all say you shouldn’t speak ill of soone behind their back, otherwise there will be retribution. Does retribution co this fast now?

Just as he said this, Jiang Baizhou appeared.

"Miss Jiang can go back and try to relieve so psychological pressure according to the thod I ntioned. You can also choose appropriate exercises to enrich yourself. If there are any other questions, you can ask my assistant anyti." Jiang Baizhou’s gaze swept over Cen Jin and Lu Xize’s faces, his eyes narrowing slightly. Only when he heard footsteps approaching from behind did he retract his gaze and turn to speak to the girl behind him. His tone was not as icy as usual, only faintly detached, yet not distant.

When dealing with patients with different psychological issues, Jiang Baizhou would make subtle adjustnts in his tone and expression. Although it couldn’t change his cold and arrogant nature, it wouldn’t create additional psychological pressure for the patients or add any burdens to them.

"Alright, thank you, Doctor Jiang. I’ll try it in the next few days." The girl looked young, her delicate face filled with worry, eyebrows tightly knitted together. But her eyes were not empty, appearing more lively, and her tone seed more confident.

Jiang Baizhou nodded: "Then I won’t see you off."

"Okay, thank you very much, Doctor Jiang. My mind feels much more stable now. I’ll take my leave." The girl gave a faint smile and nodded to Jiang Baizhou as a polite gesture before descending the stairs. As she passed by Lu Xize, she politely nodded and greeted him.

"Take care, relax more, and try not to dwell on those things. The road ahead is long." Lu Xize responded kindly and even comforted her.

"Thank you, Doctor Lu."

After watching that girl leave, Jiang Baizhou stretched his long legs and walked down from upstairs. When he was about to reach Cen Jin, he stopped, reached out his long arm to grab her wrist, and pulled her behind him, shielding her with one side of his body. His sharp, falcon-like eyes stared directly at Lu Xize, his thin lips curling slightly, with a lazy yet indifferent tone: "In the future, speak less with him, don’t pick up bad habits."

Lu Xize choked on this, the words stuck in his throat almost didn’t co out, he nearly ascended with frustration.

"Why do I dislike hearing this so much? What do you an by ’talk to less, don’t learn bad habits’?" Lu Xize squinted his eyes, clearly dissatisfied with the statent.

"You can go off work now." Jiang Baizhou had no intention to argue about this particularly pointless matter. With a concise remark, he intended to dismiss him, holding Cen Jin’s hand, he headed straight upstairs. Halfway there, he suddenly rembered sothing, turned to look at Wei Xuan, who was busy with docunts, and said coldly: "Finish what you’re doing, and you can leave work too."

"Oh, yes." Wei Xuan glanced at Jiang Baizhou holding Cen Jin’s hand, nodded blankly in agreent.

She had been thinking, what would Doctor Jiang be like once he fell in love!

Unexpectedly, she’s witnessing it now, and it’s much better than she imagined. Look at this, the initiative to hold hands and the domineering protective behavior towards his girlfriend, completely unlike the usual Jiang Baizhou.

She thought, with Jiang Baizhou’s aloof, arrogant, and slightly straight-male personality, it would be hard for him to like soone, let alone pursue a girl or have a girlfriend.

It seems now he does have feelings.

Lu Xize stood in place, clutching his chest, waiting for Jiang Baizhou to pull Cen Jin upstairs before he said to Wei Xuan: "Xuanxuan, did you see that? Doctor Jiang is so focused on the opposite sex that he forgets everything else."
