As they were almost finished eating, Lu Shishu noticed that Cen Jin had barely touched her bowl of rice, and hadn’t eaten much of the other dishes either. He sighed silently, put down his chopsticks with a smile, took a sip of water, and said, "Cen Jin, take this step for your own happiness!"

Cen Jin heard this, looked up at him, but her gaze was more determined now. She took a deep breath and said, "Shi Shu, you’re right. I shouldn’t retreat on this matter. I... I don’t want to wait any longer, and I don’t want any more misunderstandings."

Lu Shishu laughed and nodded, "Hmm, then go ahead! Hurry up, if you two continue like this, you’ll drive crazy with worry."

Cen Jin smiled knowingly, quickly picked up her phone and her bag from the table, "Then I’ll leave this bill to you, I’ll treat you next ti."

"Next ti I want Jiang Baizhou to treat , and I want a feast." Lu Shishu supported his chin and smiled at her.

"I’ll pass the ssage to him."

"Then quickly go!"

"Hmm."

Watching Cen Jin leave, the smile in Lu Shishu’s eyes beca more elusive. After Cen Jin disappeared from view, he turned to look at the azure sky outside the restaurant, his delicate and charming face slowly dimd, and finally he sneered at himself before slowly retracting his gaze.

After leaving the restaurant, Cen Jin hugged her phone and took a deep breath. A few seconds later, she found Jiang Baizhou’s number in her contacts. Just before she was about to touch the screen to dial, her hand suddenly trembled for so reason. After hesitating for about ten seconds, her fingertip finally touched the screen, and the call went through. When she heard the ringtone, Cen Jin’s heart clenched and her body tensed up, feeling very anxious.

When Jiang Baizhou received Cen Jin’s call, he was having dinner with Lu Xize. Upon seeing the caller ID, Jiang Baizhou visibly paused for a mont, but without the slightest hesitation, he put down his chopsticks and answered, "Hello!"

"Jiang Baizhou, where... are you?" Hearing this familiar low voice, Cen Jin’s heart skipped a beat, trying to keep her voice calm.

"Clinic."

"Oh, oh, have you eaten?"

"I have." Jiang Baizhou glanced at the untouched food on the table, simply replied with two words, and then paused for a mont before continuing to ask, "Why? Is there sothing you need?"

"I... have sothing I want to say to you, it must be said in person. Can we et when you have ti?" Cen Jin slightly tightened her grip on the phone, tentatively asking.

Jiang Baizhou pursed his lips, subconsciously glanced at the ti on his wrist, and his speech rate significantly slowed down, even his deep eyes seed to gain warmth, "Hmm, I happen to have sothing I want to say to you too. I was just about to head back, where are you?"

"I just finished eating dinner with Shi Shu."

"Then I’ll co over to pick you up."

"No need, I’ll just take a taxi back." Cen Jin spoke sowhat nervously, her eyes scanning the distant vehicles, "Let’s et at your doorstep!"

"Okay."

After hanging up, Cen Jin felt a bit of excitent, looking forward with curiosity to what he wanted to say to her. Seeing an empty taxi, Cen Jin imdiately waved to stop it, got into the back seat, and directly told the driver the address, feeling an urge to et Jiang Baizhou right away.

On the other side, after Jiang Baizhou and Cen Jin hung up the call, he stood up to leave without thinking twice. Seeing this, Lu Xize, who was sitting opposite, hurriedly shouted, "Hey, Old Jiang, where are you going? You haven’t finished your al."
