Perfect World.
Wilderness Region.
Deep within the Vast Mountain Range, recent tis had not been tranquil. Roars of terrifying Ancient Species resounded intermittently from the depths of the mountains. Moreover, many formidable beasts from deep within the mountain range had begun to appear on the outskirts. These beasts, seemingly belonging to different beast kings, were engaging in mutual slaughter, leaving behind a plethora of corpses.
"This sacred relic is mine."
One day, an enormous roar, as dull as thunder, suddenly erupted from the very depths of the Vast Mountain Range. It shook the mountains to the brink of collapse, while countless ferocious birds and beasts in the distance trembled. A gigantic figure erged, shrouded in thick fog, its true form obscured. Yet, the intimidating aura it emitted shook heaven and earth, causing mountains and valleys to quake. All creatures bowed and prostrated, trembling in fear before this entity. It stood towering, its height imasurable, reaching into the clouds. A pair of deep erald eyes, like two lakes embedded in the firmant, were each several miles in diater. The sheer size of these erald eyes was terrifying, and they exuded a murderous intent that shook the heavens!
It was hard to imagine what kind of creature this was. Its body must have been colossal and majestic; if word of it spread to the outside world, it would surely shock everyone.
BANG!
In response, a huge iron rod, as massive as a pillar supporting the sky, swept across. It brought howling winds, sent rocks flying, and caused clouds and mists to surge. This strike was like the end of the world. The heavens and earth seed to have been pierced through!
"ROAR..."
With a muffled roar, a nefarious aura swept across the Ninth Heavens. The colossal figure extended a huge paw that covered the sky, large enough to envelop several mountain ridges. It glead with a cold, extrely sharp light.
CLANG!
The great paw collided with the iron rod above the clouds, ripping the sky asunder. Clouds dispersed, various auroras burst forth, and powerful treasure arts flared, overwhelming the heavens and earth.
CHH, CHH...
From the sky, strange bones fell one after another. So were as red as blood diamonds, others black as ink, and so crystal clear and white. All radiated treasure light; they were all peculiar treasured bones. If the experts of the Human Race outside the mountain range were to see this, their eyes would turn red with greed. These were undoubtedly bones shed by Ancient Species, and there were more than a dozen pieces. What an astonishing treasure trove this was! These bones, condensed with primordial runes, flew down and scattered across the expansive Vast Mountain Range, stabilizing the landscape. When the strong gales from high above swept down again, they could no longer destroy the mountains.
BOOM!
Suddenly, in another direction within the deepest part of the mountain range, flas soared to the heavens. A small red bird appeared, embroiled in a world-shocking battle with another terrifying creature. Four suprely powerful beings were battling. Their terrifying level was beyond imagination; even strong Ancient Species like the Demon Ape and the Lihuo Cow Demon trembled, hiding in the distance, not daring to move.
Not to ntion Stone Village, even the experts from Little Du Mountain Town felt the terrifying destructive fluctuations, staring in alarm towards the depths of the mountain range.
"What’s happening? Could it be that a mountain treasure is about to be born? Are they battling for the final claim?" nurous experts exclaid in shock.
No sooner had they spoken than divine light broke through the skies in the Vast Mountain Range. Chaos Qi surged wildly. Even though more than a dozen treasured bones were suppressing the landscape, the mountain range still began to shake violently. The people in Stone Village were alard. They felt an imnse pressure wash over them. The battle between the four suprely powerful creatures made them feel like a small boat in a violent storm, on the verge of capsizing at any mont.
"O most supre Lord of Hongng, I beseech you to protect your people..." Village Chief Shi Yunfeng, trembling, led all the villagers in devout prayer.
During this period, as they prayed and received divine grace, everyone in the village underwent earth-shattering changes, their strength skyrocketing dozens of tis over. Their reverence and awe towards the Lord of Hongng grew even greater. Little Dot Shi Hao, sensing the terrifying battle deep within the mountain range, chanted his prayer, requesting the descent of Divine Nation Heroic Warriors from the Lord of Hongng. Although God Liu could take them into hiding, Little Dot did not want to see lives devastated; he wanted to save even more people. These people would also beco followers of the Lord of Hongng in the future.
He lacked the power to save them himself, but he could ask the gods for help. Of course, his request for divine intervention was not solely to deal with those four suprely powerful beings. He had seen the Perfect World posts by Dog Son and knew there was a damaged Immortal King titan in this lower realm—the Puma Demon King. He was preparing to capture it as a sacrifice to the Lord of Hongng. This would also resolve the threat posed by the Puma Demon King. This would prevent the Puma Demon King from recovering and becoming a formidable enemy later on.
BOOM!
Suddenly, a heaven-shattering, earth-quaking BOOM erupted from the heart of the Vast Mountain Range! Rocks flew through the air as the range itself began to crumble. Chaos Qi spread out, enveloping the entire mountain range. There, fairy light soared to the sky and auspicious energy surged. It was as if it were the dawn of creation, or as though a Chaos Supre Treasure had erged, constantly bobbing up and down, shaking the entire Great Wilderness.
"The Mountain Treasure has erged!"
At that mont, without anyone needing to say a word, everyone knew: the sacred artifact had reappeared in the world.
ROAR...
A roar shook the Eight Desolates. Even at the very edges of the Vast Mountain Range, the imnse sound could be heard. The heavens and the earth trembled. People’s hair stood on end as they looked at one another in horror. At this mont, their very souls throbbed, and many actually fell to their knees with a THUD. Everyone trembled uncontrollably. It was a suprely powerful pressure that made them involuntarily want to kowtow and worship. Their mounts had long since stopped obeying commands. Shaking like chaff, they prostrated on the ground, shivering nonstop, too terrified to lift their heads, continuously kowtowing in the direction of the Great Wilderness.
In the deepest part of the mountain range, a terrifying aura pervaded as four mighty beings fought fiercely. It was as if they had co from the ti before the heavens were opened: one mont flas soared to the sky, the next dark clouds obscured the sun, then an iron staff swept across the firmant...
How terrifying must these beings be? Everyone felt a chill run from head to toe, despair filling their hearts. Before such beings, they were no different from ants; a re shockwave from the battle could exterminate them countless tis over.
Suddenly, Ancient Species fled in terror from deep within the mountain range. Wherever they passed, mountains crumbled, and they effortlessly destroyed everything in their path. Countless people, lying limp on the ground, saw the stampeding Ancient Species approach, their bodies turning ice cold.
It’s over.
Just then, a bolt of lightning appeared out of nowhere in the sky. A startling clap of thunder erupted. The mountains swayed. The starry sky trembled. Everyone felt as if thunder was roaring in their ears. The four suprely powerful creatures, originally locked in a battle so fierce it caused mountains to crumble and stones to fly—a scene like the end of days—involuntarily stopped. They looked towards the heavens with puzzled expressions.
BOOM.
A second, even more astonishing thunderbolt followed closely behind. This thunderbolt, resembling the legendary Candle Dragon, spanned the sky and blotted out the sun, traversing the firmant. Its length was imasurable, stretching for tens of thousands of miles. As this thunderbolt crackled, the entire world seed to tremble and mourn.
"It’s My Lord’s ssenger!" Little Dot exclaid excitedly in Stone Village. "My Lord’s ssenger is about to descend!"
GULP. Shi Yunfeng and the others swallowed hard. They knew the Lord of Hongng was powerful—unimaginably so. But they hadn’t expected that the re arrival of one of the Lord of Hongng’s powerful subordinates could command such terrifying might. Even the four Terrifying Beasts, who had been engaged in a fierce battle deep in the mountains, had stopped.
God Liu, having regained a few verdant, tender willow branches, swayed them, emitting a faint green light. Her fragnted mories sensed that the newcor was incredibly powerful. This power was frightening, beyond anything her mories contained. Could it be a legendary Emperor? God Liu’s lingering mories spoke of Immortal Kings, but Immortal Kings seed to represent the apex of cultivation. For endless eons, countless Immortal Kings had pursued the elusive realm of the Emperor. Yet, none had ever seen an Emperor. No one even knew if Emperors truly existed. Could it truly be a legendary Emperor? Considering the power and terror of the Lord of Hongng—a being who undeniably transcended Immortal Kings, perhaps even Emperors—it wasn’t impossible that an Immortal Emperor could be among His subordinates.
BOOM.
After the second thunderbolt, a third one rapidly followed. The mont this thunderbolt appeared, a rift tore through the sky. It spanned heaven and earth, like a profound, dark, and mysterious abyss, seemingly capable of swallowing a person’s soul. However, before the crowd could react in terror, endless divine light poured down from the dark chasm. It was like a breach in the celestial river, the silver river of the Nine heavens cascading down. Amidst the boundless divine light, where stars shone brilliantly, an aura of terror seed to emanate from the other side.
The stronger the being, the clearer their perception, and the more intense their terror.
The expressions of the four suprely powerful beasts turned extrely grim. They stared at the heavens nervously. Their fierce eyes were filled with solemnity and unease; deep within, fear flickered.
Powerful. Indescribably powerful. Terrifying. Unspeakably terrifying.
As they watched the dazzling figure in the endless divine light step forward, each footfall seed to land on their hearts, stifling their breath. An intense sense of crisis, like collapsing mountains and raging tsunamis, swept over them wave after wave. And they were like pathetic, tragic ants facing a tsunami or a mountain collapse.
At this mont, they finally understood what the countless beings around them had felt during their earlier, intense battle.
Despair. Fear...
