Tribe Chief Shi Yunfeng and everyone gathered in front of Little Stone, their gazes solemn, the atmosphere oppressive.
"Clan Leader Grandpa, Uncles, you’ve all co!" Little Stone said with a smile.
Shi Yunfeng pondered before speaking, "Little Dot, what just happened? Who was that Fairy? And who is the Lord of Hongng?"
As the only person from Stone Village who had ventured out into the Great Wilderness, his knowledge was incomparable to that of the others. But even the most terrifying beings he had seen or heard of outside the Great Wilderness could not compare to the Fairy who had just appeared.Let alone the Lord of Hongng behind that Fairy.He simply couldn’t imagine.
"’Ah, Clan Leader Grandpa,’ Little Stone said, his eyes devout, ’the Fairy is a Fairy! She is a ssenger of the Lord of Hongng.’ He then added happily, ’The Lord of Hongng is the supre Immortal True God! By believing in the Lord of Hongng, one can gain powerful strength!’"
"Clan Leader Grandpa, you should believe in the Lord of Hongng with !" Feeling the power within him, Little Stone’s eyes sparkled with excitent as he eagerly looked at Shi Yunfeng and the others.
"Wait, just now you were worshipping that... Lord of Hongng?" Shi Yunfeng’s face suddenly changed. The shock had been too great, and he hadn’t had ti to think. Now, coming to his senses, his face grew more worried. "We in Stone Village have a Divine Spirit to worship. How can you worship and offer sacrifices to another... to another being?"
There are countless villages in the Great Wilderness, each with its own Divine Spirit to worship. People worship their Divine Spirit, and the Divine Spirit guards them. This has been an unwritten tradition for a long ti, or perhaps an unspoken rule. At least, while the Divine Spirit of their village was still alive, no one would worship or offer sacrifices to another being.
At this mont, the people around also realized what had happened, and their expressions changed drastically.

Now that Little Stone had beco a ssenger of the Lord of Hongng, Shi Yunfeng abandoned the idea of taking Little Stone to seek forgiveness from God Liu. He looked at the crowd and said, "Little Stone is young and ignorant and has committed a grave taboo. This is due to our lack of strict guidance; it is our responsibility. Let us go and seek forgiveness from God Liu."
"Clan Leader, God Liu must surely know of the arrival of the ssenger of the Lord of Hongng earlier, but She didn’t react. Maybe this is also permitted by God Liu?" one person suggested.
"And besides, Little Dot doesn’t understand these things. It’s excusable!" others chid in.
The villagers, seeing Little Dot’s pure and naive nature, couldn’t find it in their hearts to bla him.
"Regardless, we need to account for this to God Liu," Shi Yunfeng insisted. He led the people of Stone Village in a large procession to the willow tree, hoping to gauge God Liu’s attitude and ask for guidance.
He knew that God Liu was extraordinary.Perhaps She was not a match for the Lord of Hongng, nor even for the ssenger of the Lord of Hongng.But She was, nonetheless, a being beyond his imagination.He had never considered worshipping the Lord of Hongng because the Lord was too distant for him; he felt it was out of his reach.God Liu was more dependable.After all, God Liu was right there in Stone Village.She could protect them at any mont.Although the Lord of Hongng was powerful, He could not possibly stay in Stone Village to protect them.
"Tribe Chief Shi Yunfeng of Stone Village leads his people to seek forgiveness from God Liu," he announced, his voice low and steady, his face solemn. He did not ntion Little Stone. He dared not let Little Stone join in seeking forgiveness; if by any chance he angered the Lord of Hongng or His ssenger, their entire village could be reduced to ashes.
Little Stone had followed them. He stood to one side, his large eyes filled with grievance and guilt. He felt awful.It seed he had done sothing wrong.But in his heart, he felt as though he had not erred.

God Liu’s sole verdant willow branch stirred without wind, gently brushing over Little Stone’s head. Little Stone did not move, his naive big eyes blinking as he curiously looked at God Liu.
"Such an incomprehensible power..." an ancient and vast voice arose, causing the hearts of the Stone Village people to tremble. They looked towards God Liu, nervous and apprehensive.
Shi Yunfeng spoke respectfully, "God Liu, Little Stone is young and ignorant. He presumptuously worshipped other Divine Spirits, reflecting our failure in guiding him. Please forgive us, God Liu! Furthermore, please guide us regarding the Lord of Hongng, we..."
"This is not a bad thing for you!" God Liu’s voice slowly sounded. "Little Dot is a natural Venerable, but he encountered misfortune in his early years. His Supre Bone was extracted. If not for his parents expending many treasures, he probably would have lost his life long ago!"
"Supre Bone?" Shi Yunfeng’s body trembled. He had heard legends of such a constitution; this was a Heavenly God Venerable, an unparalleled divine body. If it were to mature, it would beco incomparably fearso. He simply could not imagine it.He had not expected Little Stone to be born with a Supre Bone; sadly, it had been extracted. Little Dot had been brought to Stone Village when he was half a year old. Upon hearing this, the taut strings in the hearts of the Stone Village people finally relaxed. God Liu did not bla them, and by implication, they could worship that Divine Spirit.
