「Covering The Sky World.」
「Mars.」
At the desolate end of the ruins, an ancient temple appeared. It was silent and small, by no ans grand.
Inside the sole ancient hall stood a stone Buddha covered in thick dust. Beside it, a bronze ancient lamp flickered, casting a dim light.
In front of the temple stood a vast Ancient Bodhi Tree, so large that six or seven people together could not encircle its trunk, which was ancient and hollowed out.
If not for the five or six shimring green leaves still clinging to it, the entire tree would have seed dead.
The ancient temple and the Ancient Bodhi Tree complented each other, brimming with ancient charm. They evoked a sense of the hazy passage of ti and the vicissitudes of eras, imbuing the scene with profound tranquility and ancientness.
Just as in the original story, Ye Hei was the first to enter the temple, take the bronze ancient lamp, and then co out to the Ancient Bodhi Tree.
The Ancient Bodhi Tree was as gnarled and strong as a horned dragon. Its trunk was entirely dry, save for five or six green leaves still clinging to it about two ters from the ground. Each leaf was crystalline and translucent, shimring like erald Divine Jade.
The Bodhi Seed must be below!
Ye Hei, after reading the docunt Wang Hao had sent, indeed found a Bodhi Seed as big as a walnut in the soil below. Its natural patterns linked together to form a compassionate Buddha.
The Buddha appeared naturally, ford entirely by the convergence of natural textures, yet it looked as though it had been intricately carved.
The faint image of the Buddha was austere and natural, with a subtle Zen charm emanating from it.
Stroking the Bodhi Seed, Ye Hei looked towards his classmates searching for treasure in the temple.
According to the original story, many of these classmates would die shortly.
He had warned them before not to co to Tai Mountain, but the established plan was not going to change just because of his words.
Even if he had ntioned things like the Nine Dragons Coffin, no one would have believed him at that ti.
Therefore, aside from his close friends, he couldn’t be bothered with the others. Life and death are determined by fate. Each to their own Nature.
However, he didn’t want to be as powerless as he was in the original story, where his hands were tied in every situation.
Therefore, he sent a ssage in the group chat asking for help.
He planned to perform a sacrifice to the Upper God here to obtain so strength before continuing his journey to the Big Dipper Domain.
「In the chat group.」
Ye Tiandi: "Damn it, I’m on Mars! It’s super urgent! Boss, save !"
Dominator of the Underworld Association: "You’ve reached Mars? There’s a Crocodile Ancestor there, once a Great Saint. I’m not sure how much strength it retains now. I’ll co over and help you!"
Tushan’s Second Master: "Since Leader Xiong has spoken, I won’t join the bustle. With Overlord Xiong’s strength, dealing with the Crocodile Ancestor shouldn’t be a problem."
Dog Son of the Upper God: "Leader Xiong, rember to live stream it! Let us also witness Overlord Xiong’s heroic prowess in battling the Crocodile Ancestor!"
Dominator of the Underworld Association: "No problem!"
「anwhile, in Fengyun World.」
Xiong Ba, seated on the dragon throne, gave a few instructions to his subordinates before sending himself to Ye Hei as a red packet.
「Back in front of the ancient temple.」
Ye Hei opened the red packet. Space rippled, and an imposing figure clad in a five-clawed Black Dragon robe erged.
The sheer power and majesty he unintentionally exuded secretly astounded Ye Hei.
"Greetings, The Overlord," Ye Hei said, cupping his fists. "I’ve long admired your renown. Today, I am finally graced by your presence. Your bearing is truly peerless, your presence commanding!"
When asking for help, a few pleasantries are still necessary.
Even though the chat group defaulted his nickna to Ye Tiandi, that’s his future self—and who can say what the future holds? Right now, he’s just a weakling.
"Ye Tiandi is too polite. We’re all followers of our God; it’s only right to help each other," Xiong Ba replied politely.
Ye Hei, hailing from a Mystic Fantasy World like the Covering The Sky World, has an edge in spreading the faith and making offerings. His future is limitless. I certainly shouldn’t offend him.
"AH!"
Suddenly, a scream pierced the air. A girl who had been searching for treasure inside the ancient temple erged and was startled by Xiong Ba’s unexpected appearance.
"What’s wrong?"
Li Xiaoman and the others erged from the temple one by one, their expressions turning wary upon seeing Xiong Ba.
"Ye Fan, who is this...?" Pang Bo moved to Ye Hei’s side. Seeing that the newcor seed to bear no ill will, he asked in a low voice.
The others were full of curiosity.
They had checked before and found no one here.
Xiong Ba’s sudden appearance was truly unsettling.
"Let introduce everyone. This is The Overlord, a follower of the God of Hongng from another world," Ye Hei explained to the others. "Mars is fraught with danger, so I asked him to co and help. I plan to build a simple altar here to worship the God of Hongng."
"The God of Hongng is a great Immortal God. By believing in Him, one can receive divine grace..."
After a brief explanation, Ye Hei called Pang Bo to join him in building an altar away from the ancient temple. There’s a Crocodile Ancestor under the ancient temple. If we don’t move away, we’ll be caught in the crossfire soon.
"Ye Fan, when you previously said that Tai Mountain was dangerous and told everyone not to co, was it because you received God’s Revelation?" Pang Bo asked curiously in a low voice while helping Ye Hei build the altar.
"Sothing like that," Ye Hei replied. "It’s just that these matters are too unbelievable. Even if I told them, they wouldn’t believe , and I can’t be bothered to prove it to them."
While Ye Hei and Pang Bo were busy building the altar, Wang Ziwen, Liu Yunzhi, and others exchanged uneasy glances.
If this had happened before their encounter with the Nine Dragons Coffin, they definitely would have scoffed if Ye Hei had spoken of gods.
But now that they had reached Mars and encountered all manner of strange events, they believed that gods truly did exist.
"What should we do?" Liu Yunzhi asked quietly.
He didn’t get along with Ye Hei, having mocked him before, only for Ye Hei to embarrass him publicly with a rcedes.
