Zhongnan Mountain, Hongng Divine Sect.

Within the Temple, the statues of the God San Qing had long since vanished, replaced by a hazy divine statue with an obscured face. The statue stood atop Chaos, a river of stars swirling around it. Its eyes were like the sun and moon—splendid and blinding—with an imposing aura. This was the statue of the God of Hongng. They couldn’t discern Hongng’s face, so they could only ask a sculptor to recite the "ditation thod" and carve the statue based on the godly form of the God of Hongng they had witnessed.

At this mont, Little Dragon Girl, Li Mochou, Granny Sun, the Seven Sons of Quanzhen, and others were respectfully worshipping the God of Hongng.

After the worship, Ma Yu spoke up, "Sect Hierarch, the Mongolian Army is less than thirty miles from us. They are expected to reach our altar this afternoon!"

"If that’s the case, then gather everyone from the Hongng Divine Sect to worship the Upper God. Once our God manifests His divinity, they will naturally be unable to withstand a single strike!" Little Dragon Girl said indifferently.

The altar was built on a plain not far from the foot of Zhongnan Mountain. This location was chosen by Little Dragon Girl based on the suggestions of the group mbers. She had initially wanted to build it on Zhongnan Mountain, but the terrain was treacherous, and the area was not spacious enough to accommodate many followers worshipping the Upper God.

"Yes, Sect Hierarch!"

Ma Yu and the others knew that the God of Hongng was a True God. Although they were sowhat nervous about facing an army of thirty thousand, they were not scared.

However, before they could leave, Zhou Botong’s loud and raucous voice was heard from outside:

"You bunch of cow-nosed priests, co out here!"

"Why did you change the Quanzhen Sect into the Hongng Divine Sect?"

"How could you do this to my Senior Brother?"

Zhou Botong, accompanied by Huang Yaoshi, Hong Qigong, and others, pushed past the Hongng Divine Sect’s disciples and barged in. The disciples of the Hongng Divine Sect were mostly forr disciples of the Quanzhen Sect. They felt it was inappropriate to stop Zhou Botong, especially since they weren’t powerful enough to do so.

"Uncle Master Zhou!"

Ma Yu, Qiu Chuji, and the other five’s expressions changed slightly, a mixture of awkwardness and sha. Yet they had no regrets. Compared to the stingy God San Qing, the God of Hongng had given them far too much; an offer they couldn’t refuse.

"Speak! Why did you change the Quanzhen Sect into the Hongng Divine Sect and start worshipping so God of Hongng?" Zhou Botong demanded, looking at the seven of them.

"Uncle Master Zhou, the God of Hongng is the supre True God. Compared to the dubious God San Qing, we naturally worship the True God!" Ma Yu explained.

"What ’True God’? How do you know the God of Hongng is a True God, and the God San Qing is not?" Zhou Botong didn’t believe in any gods. However, the Quanzhen Sect was established by his Senior Brother and had always worshipped the God San Qing, so it should continue to do so.

"Because of this!"

**BOOM!**

Ma Yu stepped forward, his powerful aura perating the air.

"Innate Peak!"

Zhou Botong, Huang Yaoshi, and the others were sowhat surprised. How could they not know Ma Yu’s situation? He would have considered himself incredibly lucky to reach the late Innate stage in this lifeti. Yet, after such a short ti, he had advanced from the mid-Innate stage to the Innate Peak.

**BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!**

However, before their shock could subside, Qiu Chuji and the other six mbers of the Seven Sons of Quanzhen stepped forward, their Innate Peak auras flaring unmistakably!

"How is this possible?" Zhou Botong exclaid, as Huang Yaoshi, Hong Qigong, and Master Yideng widened their eyes. If one person reached the Innate Peak, it might be attributed to a fortuitous encounter. But for all Seven Sons of Quanzhen to advance to the Innate Peak—that was beyond reason!

"This is all thanks to the blessings of the God of Hongng. rely through prayer, we received the God of Hongng’s grace, and our cultivation levels skyrocketed! If we don’t worship such a True God, should we continue to worship the God San Qing, who has given us nothing for all these years of worship?" Ma Yu, looking at the astonished and incredulous Zhou Botong, retorted.

Zhou Botong and the others snapped out of their shock. If the God of Hongng was truly so generous and powerful, then worshipping Him might not be unacceptable. But was this truly the case? This was simply beyond belief.

"Uncle Master Zhou, I know you find this hard to believe; such things are indeed inconceivable. However, you only need to pray with once to find out if it’s true!" Ma Yu saw their doubts and spoke directly.

"Alright!" Zhou Botong nodded. He absolutely couldn’t miss out on sothing this intriguing; he wanted to see for himself if the God of Hongng was truly that divine.

"Uncle Master Zhou, the first ti you pray to the Upper God, you will be able to see the immortal Chaos divine body of the Upper God. The more sincere your heart is, the greater the grace you will receive. While subsequent prayers also grant blessings, they are significantly less potent than the first!" Ma Yu cautioned them.

"I understand. Let’s begin imdiately!" Zhou Botong said, impatient and eager.

"Good. Just recite after !" Ma Yu began to pray. His eyes blazed with fervor, his voice filled with devotion.

Zhou Botong, Huang Yaoshi, Hong Qigong, and Master Yideng, though skeptical, prayed along to ascertain the truth. They didn’t notice Ouyang Feng, who had arrived at so point. He was eavesdropping and, overco with curiosity, began to recite the prayer as well!

**BOOM! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!**

A mont later, several powerful auras erupted. Huang Yaoshi and the others all broke through, advancing to the Grandmaster Realm. Old Imp Zhou Botong, who possessed a child-like heart, had been sowhat skeptical. However, after listening to Ma Yu, his sincerity grew, and he broke through directly from a half-step Grandmaster to a Mid-level Grandmaster.

"Haha! I, Ouyang Feng, have actually broken through to Grandmaster—and a Mid-level Grandmaster at that! Thanks to the great God of Hongng!" At that mont, a loud laugh erupted. Not only had Ouyang Feng regained his senses, but his cultivation level also soared to the Mid-level Grandmaster stage. Because he had previously been mad and thus possessed less cunning, he was relatively sincere. The divine grace Ouyang Feng received was comparable to Zhou Botong’s.

So there really are gods in this world! Huang Yaoshi, Hong Qigong, and others ignored the lucid Ouyang Feng, still shocked by the greatness and terror of the God of Hongng. They had witnessed that terrifying Chaos divine body. Before Its colossal divine form, the entire world seed like re specks of dust.

"Our Hongng Divine Sect welcos all aspiring individuals. Do you wish to join us?" At that point, Little Dragon Girl and Li Mochou ca out and spoke to them.

"The Upper God restored my sanity and helped break through to the Grandmaster Realm I’ve long dreamt of! I, Ouyang Feng, am willing to join the Divine Church!" Ouyang Feng stepped forward and said without hesitation.

"Old Poison, congratulations on regaining your sanity!" Hong Qigong glanced at Ouyang Feng and then, with a smile, said, "I, this Old Beggar, don’t have grand ambitions. Having been blessed by the Upper God with a breakthrough to the Grandmaster Realm, I am willing to join the Divine Church and believe in the Upper God!"

"Hehe, how could I, the Old Imp, miss out on such fun!" Zhou Botong chuckled, completely forgetting he had co to demand an explanation.

"I shall join as well." Huang Yaoshi agreed. He no longer had other pursuits; he simply wished to witness a higher realm of the Martial Path. And to beco stronger, joining the Hongng Divine Sect was the undisputed choice.

"Amitabha. Buddha, forgive . This humble monk also wishes to witness a higher vista," Master Yideng chanted, also choosing to join the Divine Church. As Martial Artists, they found it difficult to resist the temptation to get stronger. This was especially poignant as their cultivation levels had been stagnant for a long ti, offering no hope of progress. Now, not only had their cultivation levels increased dramatically, but they could also advance even further. What Martial Artist could possibly resist such a temptation?

"Your arrival today is quite tily. I am just about to make offerings to the Upper God. Soon, you will witness His divine revelation!" Little Dragon Girl said.

"The Upper God’s divine revelation?" Upon hearing this, the eyes of Huang Yaoshi, Ouyang Feng, and the others imdiately filled with anticipation, their hearts thumping with excitent. They would actually have the chance to see a True God! In the past, this would have been an inconceivable dream.

"Let’s go!" Little Dragon Girl led the way. Everyone followed, carrying the sacrificial items in a grand procession down the mountain. Most of the Hongng Divine Sect’s disciples were already at the foot of the mountain, having organized the commoners and transported the sacrifices.
