"Like you said, he’s my boyfriend. Who are you to have an opinion here?" she shot back at Olivia, her tone sharp and unyielding.
Olivia’s face flushed red in embarrassnt as she tried to find her bearing. She’d never expected Allison to retort with such a sharp tone since the latter had never used such a tone on her before. She was simply caught off guard.
"You shouldn’t talk to like that, Allison. I’m your friend, not your enemy," Olivia defended, forcing a few tears to gather in her eyes as if Allison had raised her hand to hit her across the face.
"If you are my friend like you say you are, you would leave and let Derek and I settle our misunderstanding without you ddling, Olivia," Allison retorted, her tone still sharp and unyielding which had not only Derek and Olivia, but the other students gathered around them raising a few eyebrows.
"What are you looking at? Scram!" Olivia yelled at the students who were watching them, totally forgetting where they were heading earlier. Imdiately, they dispersed to let them have their talk.
"Watch the way you talk to Olivia, Allison. She’s your best friend," Derek warned.
Allison stifled a sneer as she stared back at him, but didn’t bother to reply at all.
"Since she started hanging out with Kace Wallace, I’ve noticed that she has changed," Olivia suddenly said, making Allison’s head snap towards her. "What?" Olivia questions with a raised eyebrow and a playful grin on her lips. "It’s the truth after all. Since you started interacting with Kace Wallace, I’ve noticed so changes in you, especially with the way you talk to Derek nowadays. Don’t tell you slept with him already."
Allison’s blood boiled and the urge to smack Olivia across the face raised.
"You can go ahead and think whatever you want, I don’t care, Olivia," Allison responded, keeping her anger contained. She turned to face Derek who was still glaring daggers at her as if she’d murdered soone. "I told you where I ca from, if you don’t believe , you can go ahead and head over to Klerene company building—that’s if they will allow you inside. Then after that, you can ask for Ms. Selene’s newest photoshoot."
Allison was aware that Derek’s father wasn’t influential enough to help him get into Klerene’s company building, so all he could do was grit his teeth in anger.
"I had classes before you stopped ... I can’t afford to waste any more ti here explaining anything to you," she finished.
Glancing between them, Allison tugged at her backpack before she dashed off again.
"If she’s lying and has been hanging out with Kace Wallace all this ti, it’s going to be a big problem for us," Olivia said to Derek as they watched Allison disappear behind one of the hallways.
"It is." Derek agreed. "But she knows to never ss with . I still have the sex tape after all. If she tries to outsmart , I will release it without blinking an eyelash."

"Mother, are you sure you are giving father the right dose of the poison?" Jack asks as he paces around in his room.
Alia, who was seated on a couch, had a hand on her chin, thinking. "I always give him a dose every two days, so he would die slowly."
"Dying? I don’t think father is dying anyti soon, mother. Instead of looking sick, he seems to be recovering instead," Jack explained frustratedly.
Polonium-210 was a toxic poison that could kill a person in less than a month. Alia usually gave Robert a tiny dose of it every two days, so it would kill him more slowly, and the best part was that the poison could never be detected in the human body.
"I added an extra dose to his food yesterday, but I didn’t see any side effects. He’s starting to look healthy," Alia pointed out, also wondering why Robert, inside of being dead, is looking healthier by the day.
’Could the poison have expired?’ She wondered.
"If Father continues to recover, he would want to take charge of the Harrison company in no ti. If the poison doesn’t kill him, then I might have to do it myself," Jack said through gritted teeth.
It’s been two weeks already, two weeks since he got his father to sign the property papers, making him the new owner of all the Harrison assets. Two weeks since Michelle inford him that Selene was Anastasia, and two weeks since Robert started recovering instead of dying slowly like they’d expected.
"You can’t do that," Alia rebuked. "You could get caught, and then what? We would both land in prison? What about the money we were able to steal?"
"I will think about that later, Mother," Jack responded.
Feeling they’d spent too much ti in the room talking about their private matters they didn’t have anyone else to hear, they left for the living room, where they found Robert and Michelle watching a movie.
Michelle and Alia exchanged a few glances with each other, but none of them spoke a word.
"Jack," Robert called all of a sudden, facing him with a proud smile. "Now that I’m starting to recover, I will be resuming my position as the CEO of the Harrison company."
Jack and Alia paled instantly, their faces looking as though all their blood had been drained from them.
Quickly, they recovered.
"Are you sure father? Your health is still unstable—"
"I knew you were going to say that," Robert interrupted. "But since I’m starting to feel better now, I think it’s ti for to resu work."
’This is not good.’ The mother and son thought in unison.
All of a sudden, the doorbell rang.
A servant went to answer the door. When she was done, she went to them with a package she’d received.
"Excuse , sir, a package ca in for you," the servant said to Robert.
Frowning, he took the package and dismissed the servant.
"I didn’t order anything," he mumbled.
Nevertheless, he started opening the package but was t with another package imdiately.
Michelle stared at the package with a suspicious look. It was packaged in the sa manner as the one sent to Alia, which only ant that it was the sa person who sent the package.
Robert nearly lost his patience when he continued eting other packages until he got to the last one.
A deep frown settled on his face when he saw the pictures in the package.
"What’s this Robert?" Alia questioned when her eyes fell on the pictures of Robert with a blonde-haired woman, holding her intimately as if they were in a relationship.
Ignoring her question, Robert picked up the letter which ca with the pictures.
Like my surprise?—A.W
"Who the fuck is AW?!" He barked, his face flushed red in anger.
"Anastasia Wallace."
