' Well, well, well, runes seem way more useful than having to infuse mana into objects and then create a mana circle to imbue them with effects. With runes, I just need to carve them using mana to give them a special effect, though they are less adaptable and their effect are more set in stone.'

I turn towards the voice, seeing T'Challa wearing his black panther suit. I had once again gone inside the zombie dinsion and decided to use my ti better, so while infusing the world with mana, I decided to read so books about runes. What I hadn't noticed was that while floating, I had also begun spinning around my body.
" Sorry," I said while descending, slowly cutting out the mana I had been giving to the floating spell.
" How is it going? I can see everything within a 10-kiloter radius around us in perfect condition. I also haven't seen a zombie in quite a while."
" That's because I am not letting them in, and those who are powerful enough to pass through my anti-undead ward are being portaled on the other side of Earth."
" No killing then?"
" After I saw the progress I made on a possible cure, I stopped myself and others from doing so."
And I was serious; the little elves inside my laboratory were quickly capable of distinguishing between the human and the undead, and of discovering what caused the zombification process. The only thing left was to discover what could fight off the virus and leave the human behind, which was easier said than done.
I even got involved in the process, creating new types of machines with a mix of magic and science, a smaller-sized microscope to see atoms, and sothing to divide substances into their basic materials, which had been used to divide the virus from the normal cells, and lastly, the most complicated one, with which I was forced to ask Yao's help.
A temporal-infused box, where no air could go inside, was used to study the developnt of possible cures on pieces of undead at. The temporal part was to see the effect over a prolonged period of ti; what would take a day took seconds.
But it still was a process of trial and error; we had tried phoenix tears, dragon's scales, hydra's blood, but nothing seed able to stick long enough for it to last.
" It's already enough that we can live once again. I hadn't taken a shower or eaten a hot al in who knows how long."
" Not a problem, though, could you tell the kids to stop giving offerings? They keep giving toys and candies, expired ones. I can give the toys to my daughters, but I am not sure they'd like a knife made with wood... scratch that, one of the two might like it."
" Offerings?"
" They think I am a god."
"... I can see why they'd think that, with the whole glowing and floating thing, the fact you saved all of us, and that you're restoring everything, it'd be strange if they didn't"
' That's not what worries , if the theory behind Demi-gods ascending by belief, then I fear might do that because of them.' That was left unsaid, a worry I kept to myself.
It was just a few children, but when you had to do that, the people in my ho universe were writing fanfiction on how I was a god, or fucking with each of the Avengers, and it might develop into a real thing.

I shut him off by cutting out the dinsion around him. Soone shouting at was the last thing I wanted right now, even more so if he sounded that arrogant.
Looking around, I saw almost a hundred people, all of different statures, clothes, and looks. I recognized so of them and guessed the others; they were Gods, like true Gods, beings of true immortality, able to command their own sets of rules, and considering how he had a bolt in his hand, and looked very arrogant, I guessed the one speaking must have been Zeus.
" Does he always talk like he is about to fuck a bull?"
No one responded, though I saw Thor hold back a laugh.
Thunder ford around . I felt him try to control the wind to suffocate . Good luck with that.
I reconnected him to the dinsion we were in.
" The intimidation factor dies when you can't even control the fact I am here, I just have to wish for it and I'm back ho, so how about you go down from that horse you are in and talk normally."
And this ti I didn't hold back. The ground trembled, the dinsion cracked, vines sprouted from my feet, the stars around us lit up, their blood froze, and everyone's soul trembled because of chaos mana.
" You aren't supposed to be a Demi-God."
" I am not supposed to be a lot of things for a lot of people; most died."
" You don't belong to any pantheon, your divinity is too broad, you take control of other divinities as if they were your own."
" And? I worked for all of this; I wasn't born with it."
" You are defying our will."
" Are you talking for every single God here? Are you sure you want to do that?"
" Ye-" Zeus was about to talk, but he got interrupted.
" The Asgardians have no problems with your existence." The being I guessed was Odion spoke out.
" Neither does the Heavenly Court." Yep, that was Buddha.
" The Daevas wish for a friendly relationship." I have no idea what his na is. I am not that focused on Pantheons, not until now, that is.
Several more pantheons confird that they had no ill intentions towards , ot at least they aren't saying it out loud like Zeus did. Maybe so of them are angry, but they aren't stupid enough to just say it.
"Looks like you don't speak for everyone bull-fucker."
" SILENCE." He threw his thunder.
' Let's see how I fare against a god.'
