But how were they still there? How were the different types of mana, which were supposed to stop existing if Adrian died, still work perfectly fine? Actually, they were working even harder to aid those fighting against the invaders.
The reason was simple: Adrian isn't human; he is an elental fused to his mana to create a mix of biology and magic, so who cares if his physical body stopped existing? He just has to create a new one.
Why not create a big enough show to let everyone see it?
The ground started to rumble in Central Park, and the plants started fusing and bending with each other, slowly creating what could be described as the biggest tree anyone could have ever seen, reaching heights and sizes that made the Empire State Building look small in comparison.
But that wasn't the end, far from it.
So aliens tried getting close and trying to destroy it, but the closer they got, the more they began bleeding from no visible wound, their eyes popped, their brains lted, and all of the organs exploded. This wasn't a process that could be stopped by mongrels.
So what if another laser tried to destroy it? The sa that had "killed" Adrian?
The dinsion bent on its own, and as if it were glass, the laser got redirected back against one of the snake ships, lting it and killing everyone inside of it.
Once the tree had finally reached its intended size, it began becoming smaller, and smaller, and smaller... it was losing the shape of a tree.
Plants were being condensed into the shape of sothing not even close to a tree; it had skin made of wood, organs made of blood, a brain made of the dinsion itself, chaos and mana, muscles made with fire, lungs made of air, and bones made of rock.
People started recognising the elental when his figure started gaining features, when the eyes opened, the rainbow they were used to seeing returned, and when the skin changed colour and the details that made Adrian, Adrian, people saw the return of the hero they thought they had lost.
